Belle Fontaine's father's business is failing & looking for a life line to save the sinking ship. Drake McManus is just the man to do it, he is the top dog in LA for spin. His PR company can make any situation look easy & innocent no matter what has happened. When Drake offers to purchase the Fontaine PR business the Fontaine's think his offer is too low. But Drake needs the Fontaines as much as they need him so he is not willing to let them walk away from the negotiations. Drake makes an offer to have the youngest Fontaine daughter Belle join him at his private Bahama Island for 30-days for the negotiations to continue. Everyone knows Drake's reputation & none of the Fontaines want Belle to go but there is more to think about then her virtue. Belle's mom is terminally ill & the only chance she has to get any better is a trail drug that the family just can't afford. Belle decides to go with Drake even though she knows all he wants is sex. Belle’s dad wants to sell his business to Drake as soon as possible, because his wife desperately needs treatment. Belle is there for the negotiations and Drake has an odd proposition. He wants to take Belle to an island to continue the negotiations or he walks away. Belle doesn’t want to go because she knows Drake’s reputation, but she also wants to help her mother. At the island, she sees another side of Drake and she likes that side. She grows closer to him and Drake really likes Belle.
I liked Belle and Drake. Belle loves her family and she would do anything for them. She works very hard at the family company, but she also has a dream she wants to fulfill. Belle is kind, sweet, innocent and caring. She is attracted to Drake, but she’s also afraid of his reputation. She keeps her distance from him, but then Drake does sometimes that changes her mind. Belle changed her mind too quick sometimes and she could be a little stubborn.
Drake is a rich businessman and he worked very hard to be where he is now. He still works hard to make his business bigger. He knows what he wants and he always gets it. He wants Belle from the moment he sees her and he wants to fight for her. He needs control in the bedroom and outside. Drake slowly changes.
Beauty and the Billionaire is a retelling of the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast. I definitely recognized several similarities and I loved that. I liked this book much more than Faking For Her: A Fake Relationship Romance. The progress was better, it has beautiful epilogues and it’s told from dual first point of view. There was a huge twist near the end that I didn’t expect and I loved to be surprised, but it was a little rushed.

Love this book! Kira has put a whole new kinky spin on this fairy tale and I loved how it went. Drake is an absolute asshole and makes no apologies for him however he realises that he is going to have to make a few changes in order for things to work with the lovely Belle. There is drama, intrigue and more than 1 plot twist that will have your mouth agape. However, the sexiness is just wow, there's kink with good old fashion passion and a dose of reality to keep it real. Kira doesn't disappoint once again!!

"Beauty and the Billionaire" is another retelling of BATB with Drake and Belle.
Drake spots Belle while he prepares to buy out her father's company, but instead ends up blackmailing her to spend 1 month with him on an island to pay for her mother's bills.
Slowly, his tragic past is revealed, they get into BDSM, some misunderstandings, mild angst, kidnapping leading to a nice epilogue.
The love scenes were average. I just felt there was too much happening in this book all at once- the length was good but I wish there weren't so many subplots. I would have also liked more trust between the leads.
Maybe it just wasn't for me.

This is the 7th book I read by Kira Blakely. I'm sorry I stopped reading this story at chapter 4 because it didn't grab my interest.

Beauty and the Billionaire by Kira Blakely a sumptuous five star read. This is a stand-alone adult romance, with some light BDSM, and as usual Kira Blakely writes an amazing story. The ‘Hero’ even though he hates the word is one that you would love to cuddle up with for a long weekend at least, and the ‘Heroine’ is someone you could imagine being your bestie, going for drinks and checking the talent out.
Belle Fontaine would do anything for her family, they used to have an easy life, her dad ran a successful company and they had everything they wanted, then everything changed, her dads company got left behind and her mom got sick, money was tight and her and her sister Carol had to work at the company to help out and try and keep it afloat. Belle may only be 24 years old but she has not really had time to live in her short years, she’s been too busy helping everyone else.
Drake McManus is a hard man, he has served his country and he has the scars to prove it, both mentally and physically. He plays the part of a billionaire playboy like he was born into the role, he has a successful company but he has his eyes set on another, the company belonging to Belle’s daddy, they try to negotiate but he won’t move an inch (in the contractual sense at least), in many other senses he will move many.
I adore Kira Blakely and have loved everything she has read, I would probably read a shopping list if she wrote one. (But then I do have a problem with shopping). If she didn’t live in another country I would probably be turning up on her door step, I adore her that much. (I promise I am not a stalker, just enthusiastic) If you have never read anything by her, why not? And if you haven’t get this book, you won’t be disappointed, and if you have why haven’t you bought this book already?

When you start a book with how hard your dick is... yea, smut for the ages, but sometimes a good smut book is what you need!
Drake McManus is a billionaire CEO of a PR firm, he is buying out one of his competitors or is trying but he seems to be a bit sidetracked by one, Belle Fontaine, She is 24 , naive but still has a bit of integrity to say but she is willing to sell it all for her mom.
Sad to say her mother has cancer and even though the Fontaine family was once the head of a very prestigious PR firm they are stone cold broke now and they need the merger with Drake to get money for experimental medications, the heavy. I instantly felt sorry for Belle, no one should be put in that situation.
So right off the bat this book had a very strong similarity to 50 shades, the nightmares, the help, even the self-hatred.
They go through a month of sex, kink and business in Barbados. Finally She tell Drake that her mother is sick and he drops everything to help her. They have a fight because she feels that Drake distracts her and they stop talking for a while.
Kicker George and Carol are embezzling funds, I would have to say that was probably the biggest surprise in the whole book.
This book was good for what it was but it as so similar to fifty shades of grey that I had to roll my eyes a few times. Like dejavu

A tale as old as time done over. Belle was an innocent virgin who was trying to do anything to save her family's business. Her mother was stricken with cancer and they were financially tapped out. Enter Drake, a bad boy billionaire who was the only one to show interest in acquiring Belle's family company. The only thing was, Drake wasn't offering the price they needed.
Drake makes them an offer they couldn't refuse. One month with Belle alone on his private island in the Bahamas. Things got very interesting from there.
BDSM, PTSD and a bunch of other acronyms take over the story. I liked the way the story stayed with the theme of Beauty and the Beast, but took on it's own life. However, the book was too long and should have ended sooner than it did. I rarely say this but I was looking forward to the big finish.
Usually I am sad when a book ends, but not this time. I am glad they found a HEA.

This was my second Kira Blakely book and it solidified her as a must read author for me. She has a true knack and talent for not only creating complex, well-rounded characters, but wildly entertaining plots - full of emotion and real life situations (with a bit of the fantastical elements required in romantic fiction), and sizzling sex scenes. I loved Belle and Drake and it was just a joy reading how they fell for each other. With themes of family loyalty, economic issues, health issues, as well as PTSD - there were so many elements addressed in the book with such skill and intelligence. Beauty and the Billionaire gets 5 out of 5 wine glasses from me and I can't wait for the next Kira Blakely book!

I am in love. This is Kira Blakely at her best.
This is a story you can really get into. I stayed glued to my tablet until the end.
With each book I read by this author it get hooked even more.

Kira Blakely did a great job on this book. The story is well written. It's filled with many emotions. Drake and Belle are perfect together. The chemistry between them is sweet and sexy. They are a great pair. This is a great story. I enjoyed it. I recommend reading it. Thank you, Kira Blakely. Great work :)

Not good
A series of poorly written porn wannabes. Some of which, the authors don't even bother to end. They simply run out there for a ways, and stop. It's that old author favorite, 'If you want to know how it ends, you have to buy another book.' I don't want to know that much.
Some are chapter after chapter of endless narratives. Minimal conversations, and the narratives, so bad, I could have written them myself. And, that's not a good thing, is it?
Some, were of course, better than others. In the end, for me, I would still suggest, you just give this one a miss.

I don't know where to start to be honest there is so much...Well first of all I may be the minority here because the reviews are full of 5 or 4 stars but anyways..Well for me the story line felt so rushed,Bella and Drake had ZERO chemistry i just didn't conected with the characters i would read 2 chapters and the i would be sleepy lol,I mean it had potential but once i started reading it I was so dissapointed ...Like one thing that bothered me so much was that the people that worked for Drake (Leonard & Mrs. Johnson) some times treat him like he was 6 y/o like come on he is a grown man let the guy live his life....and i could go on and on but tbh idc lol I think this might be my worst review i usually don't leave reviews but this story really annoyed me so much.

I couldn't even finish this book. 1) The dom is ex military now a PR exec who openly propositioned Belle in front of her family.. ewww. 2) The first sex scene was boring and anticlimactic...which leads me to 3) THE DOM DOESN'T TAKE HIS SHIRT OFF DURING SEX. I just had to stop, the author has good penmanship I just couldn't connect with the characters at all.

Beauty and the Beast is my absolute favourite fairy tale/Disney movie/romance and I loved Kira Blakely's twist on the classic love story.
Drake is a self-made billionaire, PR expert and is currently trying to buy out Belle's family business. The Fontaine family business has been floundering and her dad refuses to update his stance on social media etc, so they're losing business to more progressive and innovative PR companies. Drake's offer is a Hail Mary pass that Belle's family desperately needs to help their sick mother get into experimental treatments. The problem is, is that both sides of the negotiations are stubborn and ruthless. Neither is willing to give, until Drake makes an unconventional, but very tempting offer to Belle.
If Belle agrees to join him for a month on his private island, he'll continue to negotiate the deal with her family. If she declines, the deal is dead and her mother might as well be too.
Belle has heard the rumours about Drake's tastes in the bedroom. He's a beast in bed and enjoys having a sub to play with, but is not interested in ever settling down. Belle, a virgin who is not afraid to speak her mind, agrees to join him, but draws a hard line on what will happen during these 'negotiations'. Business has a way of mixing with pleasure though and before you know it Belle is learning about Drake's ravenous sexual appetite and getting a glimpse at his wounded soul.
How far will Belle go to save her mother's life? Will Drake's position soften once he finds out the real reason Belle joined him on the island? When their time on the island is over, will they ever see each other again or is this simply a business transaction with benefits?

No cliffhanger. HEA. Standalone. No cheating. Light BDSM.

Belle goes to Drake McManus who is a Billionaire. He owns the corporation, however, he is always very standoffish. No one can ever get close to him. He does hear Belle & her sister Carol out at the board meeting they set up. However, Drake makes his own deals. He asks for Belle for 1 month. At his island in the Caribbean to work on these "negotiations". Carol knows this is a bad deal, and doesn't want Belle to go. However, Belle says she will go and do what she can to keep her families business going.

However, Drake, has never experienced love, has never been with a woman longer than a wham bam thank you ma'am. He truly doesn't know what love means.
Belle feels that she is being selfish & crazy by being with Drake and not in LA with her family. She feels guilty that she is not their with her mother who and her family working through this problem of losing the company.
Once they go back to LA will Belle & Drake be able to have a romance / relationship like they did on the island? Or will life and problems get back in the way of Love?

I saw some similarities with the fairytale and this book, so that was fun to see how it unfolded in this story. I love how they translated this well-known fairytale to modern day life with some BDSM. I fell in love with Belle and Drake, at first I didn't quite like Drake but I grew to love that sexy beast! I recommend this book to everyone, especially those that love Beauty and the Beast.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Belle Fontaine and Drake McManus. Belle and Drake meet for the first time across a board room table. Belle's father needs to see off the company to help pay for her mother's cancer treatments. Of course none of this is told to Mr. McManus because they don't want it used against them but when he offers an extremely low price for the company they know they can't just sit back and take it. So when Drake offers to continue negotiations for the next month with Belle alone at his home in the Bahamas she isn't sure what to do. Will she go in order to help save her mother or will she take it as the chance to finally get away from it all?
Drake is stunned from the first moment he sees Belle. He knows he has to have her and there is something about her that calls to his primitive side as well. He isn't sure if she will agree to his terms but he is hoping that she will. All he knows is he has to find one way or another to have the little beauty that has captured him with just one look. He wonders though will his demons keep him from having something more special than he ever knew? Or will he destroy it like he has everything else in his life?
This is a great twist to the beauty and the beast story. There are many twists and turns in this book that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I liked how in this book we see how much secrets can not only destroy a relationship between two people but also how we perceive ourselves when we believe these lies. This is an amazing book that I want to tell you so much more about but don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I will say that would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Beauty and the Beast is my most treasured and loved fairy tale romance from childhood. When I heard Kira Blakely was writing Beauty and the Billionaire I was excited to see the modern day twist she would put on it and I was not disappointed. I loved Kira's story of Belle and Drake!
Drake McManus is a PR genius and has become a self made billionaire. When a premier PR firm is struggling he offers to buy them out at an extremely low price. >I am an independent reviewer. This book is a standalone re-telling of Beauty and the Beast and ends in an HEA. Belle tries to negotiate a great deal selling her company to Drake by going with him to his private island to negotiate. Belle wants to make enough money to get her sick mother the treatment she needs. Drake just wants Belle.
>Of course, Belle is a virgin and Drake is into BDSM. There are the usual assortment of secondary characters, a cruel sister, a creepy co-worker and the helpful servants. I love the Beauty and the Beast story. This book was a bit weak in the actual romance. Drake's beast was really PTSD. The conflict with Belle's sister was a bit weird and not needed.
>I would have liked more on the PTSD and how Belle is affected by it. I also didn't feel that Drake would have gotten back together with Belle without the servants getting involved. The romance really wasn't there. I felt the couple was just introducing tame BDSM for the benefit of the readers.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the story 3 stars. I like longer books and this book looked long, but really contains two partial books along with another complete book. Beaty and the Billionaire was a very short read. I felt a little tricked by that content.

I received this ARC copy of this book from the Author for an honest review. I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Drake and Belle was well written and starts with Drake meeting Belle at the signing of the merger of Drake's PR firm and Belle's father's PR firm. Drake will only buy Belle's father's firm fot 40 cents to the dollar but they have to decine the offer because Belle's mother is sick and they need more money to buy her way into a clinical trial. Drake tells Belle they can continue negotiations if she goes with him on his vacation to the Bahamas, she says no and walks away. Belle goes to spend time with her mother at the hospital and decides to talk to Drake up on his offer to go with him to the Bahamas. Her father want her to go to help save his wife but not at the price of pimping his daughter, Belle tells him she has to go to get him to increase his offer. When they arrive he tries to give her a gift that make her runaway, he searches for her and finds that she is in trouble, he saves her. They return to his mansion and he discovers that she is a virgin. This book has love, betrayal, thrill, lust, suspense, BDSM, emotional twists, love for family and a HEA ending. The book ends with a twist you don't see coming. A must read book.
