Loved it
The wait for this book was a killer but it was totally worth the wait. Even though I wanted to throat punch Gin a few times. The sex scenes were HOT. The angst was gripping. The love was heart warming. I loved the back and forth, seeing Gin struggle with issues that were brought up. I also loved how fierce Grace was. Loved it in a but shell!!!!

Gin’s Longing is book #2 of the Hell’s Riders series which, is a spin-off of the Reckoning series. It is a standalone. There is no problem following the story. And, I have read Jake’s Silence (book #1).
Gin is part of the Hell’s Riders MC. The Cental chapter was ambushed two years ago and most of the members were killed. Gin was there and lost so much that day. Although he survived, his emotional pain is deep. And he is still haunted by what he saw that day.
Grace is the daughter of a deceased Hell’s Rider. Gin had promised that he would look after her and he has. He’s been a shadow until one night he must intervene. Something about Grace stirs Gin’s heart. It is a feeling he has not felt since the ambush. But Grace is too young and he knows it. Gin feels she is now safe so he goes on with his life until one day she shows up, all grown up, at the Hell’s Rider compound needing his help….
I really enjoyed Gin & Grace’s story. The prologue devastated me! There is so much heartache and angst. But there is also hot, steamy, sex. Gin is the ultimate alpha when it comes to sex. But he also wants to take care of Grace. There are many twists to their story. I have to say that the Hell’s Rider’s really get put to the test! Both Gin and Grace learn many lessons about themselves and healing.
The writing has gotten better with each book and Gin’s Longing did not have the issue with editing that Jake’s Silence did. I saw no issues at all with Gin’s story. As author Joy Blood states it is a much darker and twisted story. For me, I found Hell’s Rider series to definitely be very raw and gritty.

“You’re only saying that because you don’t know me, babe. I’m not a good man, nor a reliable one.”
Up next is Rico’s story in Rico’s Way. I am sure it will rock my world!

I knew that Gin was going to be amazing. From the first book I was drawn into his past and how he would find love and the author did an amazing job at giving us his story. Grace was his perfect match. Even with the age difference (which you really can’t tell there is one while reading the book) you can tell they are perfect for each other. I love that Grace was a single mom. It brought a rear aspect to the story. I would say it made a difference to how Gin acted but it was still fun to watch. Add on all the crap they have to deal with, I was hooked on this story.
I had a hard time with the first book, because it seemed like secondary characters got to much of my attention but the author did a lot better with this one and keeping me solely focused on the main characters. I am excited to see what Rico and Ari will be up to on their book. 4 stars #2OCCJD

5 STARS!!
Well I tried to devour this but adulting got in my freaking way lol!! I just love this series and characters. This series has everything I want in a MC read. It has angst, twists, hot sex scenes, alpha males and the women who love them. The storyline just flows. Loving the continuation of characters with some new added with each installment. Some retribution is being made along the way.
Really enjoyed this couple....Gin and Grace. What started out as fulfilling a promise turns into love. Doesn't get much better than that.
Now onto Reeks story and can't wait.

Ok
The first have of this book was good second half suks . She could have died in the second half and I would not have given a crap. After she let's her ex take her daughter again when just getting her back I was thinking what a dumb bimbo. I started skipping pages right after that. The h and h had chemistry in the first half but felt nothing in the second.

Gin and Grace are dynamite…
The Gin and Grace combo is combustible! The dangers of MC life is front and center as Gin struggles to overcome his losses and tries to live his life in the only way he knows how. Lusting after Grace isn’t something he wants but it is something he can’t resist. Grace is drawn to Gin, tortured and closed off as he is, but when he rescues her? Yeah, that is when the real fun begins…
There is a plot line that is threaded through this series that is slowly coming together for me as stories are shared about the different men and women of this MC. Gin and Grace’s circumstances are much different than Kimi and Jake’s but the feeling of family, of danger and violence, feels familiar. And good…
Gin is the poster child for tortured hero as there is a good man beneath all that pain and anger. The two are dealing with so much, coming from all sides and unexpected angles, that it is amazing that they can find their way at all. They somehow do, and it makes for a get lost in the pages kind of read.

Absolutely loved Gin's story..He is broken but beautiful in his dark ways. Love him..I am so happy he got his HEA. Blood puts this character though hell but the light is there for him he just needs to grab it. Grace is sweet and she will be the one to bring life back to Gin. Great story but dark..which I enjoy. Good book
I really like this mc series. Joy blood knows what she's doing. Her books are fast paced. Something I also like about her books they are unpredictable. There's always a surprise thrown in. I can honestly say I can't wait for Rico's book.

In the last 5 days I've read the Reckoning box set and Jake and Gin's stories.
It's the first time I've read this author's books.
I loved them all.
If you like MC books then you will love these.

I liked most of the book. After her daughter was taken the second time I was surprised on the other secret she had been hiding from Gin. But somewhere after that the story just got kind of boring for me. I kept skipping page's to get to the end.

After reading Jake's Silence MC Hells Riders, I was hooked on this series. Gin had piqued my interest to learn more of his pain, anger and the road of self destruction he was heading down. The author did not let you down with this well written story. I would definitely recommend this series!!!
I can't wait to read the next book about Rico!!

I’m reading out of order, I’ve read Sage’s story with Brook before starting this one.
After reading Brook and Gin being her dad, I was sort of upset when the only time again even mentioning that he has kids was towards the end when they were ‘dumped’ at the clubhouse by their mother and Gin not knowing what to do. I can see why Brook was upset with her father in her story because all they did was fight…

Gin is such a grouch, but has good reason to be.. He gave his word to his dead friend and brothers daughter...but struggles with the heartache and attraction towards her... Liked all the characters in these series of novels... The plot carries on from the first one, but is different. Some editing needed, because it makes it a struggle to read what the author has written... But loved this novel more than the first.

I don't usually like age gap romance but this one is pretty good especially since I kept telling myself it was only about seven years....lol... but seriously if you like the age gap thing then this book is for you.
The end was such a whirlwind of things going on...a tie up of several things while others left us to hopefully get answers in the next book. I'm kinda hoping the vasectomy didn't quit work out 😏

This is Gin's book. It starts with how he was dealing with his loss of Brit, their baby and his brothers. He went off Nomad fulfilling a promise he made to Fuzz. Protect Grace. major age gap lust when she was under 18. I wondered if Brand sought her out because he knew Gin watched over her. Plus why would you let your ex. Take your kid after he kidnapped her. I know he was put up to it but hello. Crazy.

The series is GREAT this book is ok
I loved Jake’s book and am really excited to read Rico’s book. However although the writing is great, I just hated Grace. She’s so lucky her little girl didn’t die after her stupid decisions. I really like Gin though.
