I’m confused on how this has such high ratings. This was just not good. (Possible spoilers ahead)
Even though this book is the first in a series, you can tell it’s a spinoff of another.
This book goes into way too many mundane details that are not important. There are times you feel like you’re reading a play or script. For some reason, these characters LOVE breakfast because we hear in repetitive details all about their breakfast, everyday.
This couple HAD NO chemistry. They don’t even meet until over 40%. Here’s two quotes from the book about their smex
“By the time his mouth reached her nether lips, she was ready to jump out of her skin.”
“Her channel was sopping wet as it welcomed his large package over and over”
Ummm. Nether lips? Sopping wet channel? Large package? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🙃🙃 for real? CRINGE
Don’t let the cover fool you either. Yes, H has a motorcycle. That’s about it.
I liked that this was paranormal shifter romance but if you are looking for a motorcycle vibe shifter romance its missing that element. Does the Male Main Character have a motorcycle? Yes, but it's only shown once, and it's not really a ride that goes into detail. This is more a Alpha leader that hangs out at his bar at night with his friends than an Motorcycle Club.
Don't go in expecting the Female and Male main characters to meet quickly it takes several chapters for them to be even mentioned to the other. I think some things have been gone into detail too much like meals and bedtime routines. Or even details about all the other characters that is mentioned in the series.
Its not a bad book it just more details in areas thats not needed and some details needed in others that feels missing.
Stop Now if You don't want another series to read.
Crystal has done it again. She had another series to my oh so many series I'm already reading. While we spend time with old friends it's nice to make new ones. This group will make you love them and want to kick them at the same time. I highly recommend this book. When will book two be out?
Another great addition to the White Wolf series of books. Dez and JC make a great couple. The situations and characters are very involving and the action is really good. I can't wait for more from the Tulsa Pack. I would recommend this book to any adult reader who likes sexy shifter stories.
I just couldn't get connected to the characters or the story
I'm not sure if it was me or the way it was written but I just couldn't make a connection with the story. It felt like it was missing something. I didn't find mistakes in it. The characters were well written, just weren't coming across right.
I have this 3* because of Cami. Without her it would of been -3. JC the main guy spends most of the book complaining about not finding the one. He finds her, screws up and more complaining
Loved reading this book. Amazing how quickly the wolf shifters can identify their mates. Love how incredible and connected they are once they do. Highly recommend reading this short but interesting book.
Tulsa pack is growing and when white wolf Dez goes to hide out trouble follows. A great new series that combine hot wolves and M C with the white wolves females
