I received a free copy of False Start in the Bad Ballers Boxset by SJ Bishop and this review was given freely.

This is another well written and excellently edited second chance at love sports romance . This is a fast paced story which is heavy on the rocky romance and how conflict and emotions effect their games. Soccer player Jamie reunites with football player and former college boyfriend Cassidy. The main characters are flawed, the friends supportive but in a no holds bar honest way and Cassidy's ex is manipulative resulting in book with relate-able characters and a hint of steaminess.

A quick sports, second chance romance. Jamie and Cassidy dated in college but Cassidy wanted to ignore Jamie when football was in season. Jamie was able to balance soccer, school, and Cassidy and could not understand why he was unable to do so. They meet up years later, but Cassidy has not grown up and is on again with a model. He makes some stupid mistakes and sets himself up for problems with any relationship with Jamie. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Yet another book that I've fallen in love with. The characters are perfect and the storyline works so well that I felt everything they did. The heartache, triumph, confusion, and passion are well written and I cannot wait to see what is next! I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

I was given this book on Instafreebie for an honest review. This was a super sexy quick read. The writing was superb and kept me drawn in to the end. I liked S.J Bishop's writing style and look forward to reading more by them in the future.
