Carl Bowen is a good writer for fiction military books because he tells us what the people are doing and saying in the story. I like the military because of my family when I read these kinds of books it reminds me of my family that are or were in the military. When carl puts the preview of another story it hooks me on that book, so I get the book that is on the back of the first book I read. I feel that the story is real in my head.
I like when their is different branches in the story telling what they do as a person in the Shadow Squadron and what rank they are in the military.
I like when Lancaster, Morgan shoots at the bad guy and she gets shot in the shoulder and she acted like nothing happened. I like how Carl put a lot of thought in his books. When Carl puts a lot of thoughts in his books he also puts a lot of thought in his graphics. I like when Carl always put cross because he is a Navy Seal.
I think that Carl should of put the picture of the other three main characters, because seeing the pictures make me see what they look like and it gives me a good background knowledge of them. I think that the book was cool but i've seen some of his books that are a little better. I like the ending how another mission has been successful. Carl should of put in more detail in his characters except for cross and Yamashita. I like how he said a lot of gun names.
