I absolutely loved book one of this series and this one fell short for me. There were so many ups and downs and lies of omission and cheating that I really felt like the book was constantly spinning. Every time Addison would run away Carter would just sink himself into alcohol and women instead of dealing with his problems. This happens at least 3 times within the story. Not just 3 women..LOTS of women.
It was so completely different from book one that it didn't even feel like the same author wrote it. I was disappointed unfortunately.
If you don't appreciate cheating in books you probably will want to skip this one.
I have higher hopes for book three.

Addi is a party animal, always our to have a good time! She thinks she's broken beyond repair. And so, she keeps her carefully crafted facade in place. Not letting anyone in or through it, until Carter de Rossi.
Carter is your typical player.Hes upfront with all the women he sleeps with that it's nothing more than a one time thing! He doesn't let any woman close. Fear of not being able to fully protect them, that's is until Addi Warner!
They have an instant connection and we got to see a glimpse of that during Flawless, but they both want to deny it but they are constantly pulled together. Carter is the first to admit his feeling, to himself, then to Addi. Who literally ran away from him.
Addi is fighting some huge demons, and through sheer love and care, Carter gets her to open up about her tragic past, but she doesn't reveal all of it to him, and it's nothing like he or anyone else thought!
Carter has this primal urge to protect Addi, even if sometimes, it's from herself. They have amazing chemistry and it's off the charts!
They have so many ups and downs along the way of their relationship but Carter us determined not to let Addi walk away permanently!
Carter says and does the most sweetest of things for Addi.
Oh 3/4 of the way through the book broke my heart the most! I was screaming at the pages and willing myself to read faster! I needed to know the outcome! God, my heart was pounding! All the turmoil they'd been through so far, I was desperately hoping that it wouldn't end like that, no way could it end like that!
Gavin is present throughout this book and it kept me on the edge of my seat, to see, if at some point he would physically appear!
This book frustrated me to no end, but in a good way! I wanted to bang both their heads together, especially Addi! She has the most perfect man possible and she keeps running every time something gets tuff. And it sometime causes heartache and pain but I don't think she realises it until she sees the consequences.
I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment and can't wait for the next book of Logan and Vittoria! I loved Addi and Carter's story and everything we learned about them both and how they fit together!

Rollercoaster romance with plenty of angst
Addi and Carter's story runs along a concurrent timeline with that of Lily and Xander in Flawless, at least in the beginning. If you read Flawless and wanted to know more about what was going on with them, here's your story.
One content warning (that may or may not matter to you): Both Addi and Carter have one-night-stands with other people after they had started seeing each other. It's not quite cheating, as each of them is making it clear that they're not interested in a relationship, but it's not fidelity, either. The anger with which they throw these affairs into each other's faces was indicative of their determination to avoid the emotions they were starting to feel for each other, but regardless of the reasons it all still felt a little cringey to me.
Addi has endured a traumatic event that somewhat mirrors something Carter helped his sister through, so even though that event is a roadblock for a while until Addi reveals it, Carter is uniquely prepared to help her through it. This part of the story and how it contributed to the development of their relationship is what makes this book worth reading.
There's a wonderful hate/love dynamic between these two which makes their eventual HEA a hard-fought victory. The well-written introspective inner monologues show tremendous personal growth for both characters, which was gratifying to see. If the revolving door of partners doesn't bother you, there's plenty to enjoy about this book.

Relentless is the follow-up to Flawless. It is the story of Addi and Carter. You should be familiar with these two already but if not, they have got to be the most complex individuals in existence. Here is your warning: this story will frustrate you, make you want to punch people. It will even make you want to stop reading, but you must continue to read this book because not all love stories are easy reads or without challenges.
Sometimes to find and keep your true love, you will need to be relentless. And relentless is one of many words that could be used to describe Carter de Rossi. I will admit that I found Addi to be a character that, while I understood a lot of her reasoning, once all of her secrets were revealed, I couldn’t help but want to shake some sense into her. I fell in love with Carter from the beginning of this story and my love for him continued to grow until he started to act stupid and make really stupid decisions. I was so happy when he finally got his head on straight and started being my hot, sexy and protective Carter de Rossi again.
Book 3 will be Logan’s story and I can’t wait. I have a feeling it’s going to be hot and maybe a little dominant….

After a tragic relationship in college, Addi Warner is determined to keep the motto once and done. Carter de Rossi doesn't do relationships. One time and neither can walk away. What happens when insecurities from the past rear their heads? Will they be able to overcome their pasts and current lives to have a future?
I was excited to read this after reading Flawless and have to admit it took me on a bit of a emotional roller coaster. There were times when I wanted to hate both characters for their immature behavior when it came to certain things, but when it all came down to it, they were able to help each other overcome a lot of things. I didn't like how Carter resorted right back to his man whore ways and drinking, but couldn't get to upset because they weren't together when it happened. I was happy when he recognized the problem on his own and set about fixing it. After years of hiding her past I understood her fight or flight mentality and was happy when she finally decided enough was enough. Good book and it definitely pulled at my heart strings!

I had mixed feelings about this one. Book one was too perfect and I really loved Xander. Don’t take me wrong. I loved the story of Addison and Carter. Their relationship is toxic. One of love and hate. When I read it I keep hearing Pink song “Try”. No matter what stones they were on their path; together they are stronger. The reason that I didn’t really love it is that when Carter and Addison are not together, he didn’t wait form any explanation and return of his past man whore tactics. That is the only thing that had me struggling with Carter. In some many parts I want to strangle them. I was so pissed with them, I want to scream at them but at the same time I want to cuddle with them. OMG! this was en emotional ride. I can’t put the book down. I was so wrapped in the story that I didn’t want it to end. A beautifully self discover for both ways. Sienna did a wonderful work and I cant wait to read Logan and Vittoria story. Im sure that Sienna will brake my heart and put it back together.

A Real Treasure
I now understand why Book One of this series, Flawless, made Lily and Xander's relationship so perfect, trusting and problem free. It was virtually necessary so they would be available to help their best friends, Addi and Carter, navigate their way through their problem filled romance in this story.
Addi has never truly dealt with an extremely destructive relationship during her first year of college and Carter has ongoing issues with intimacy relative to his belief that he failed to protect his younger sister from having been sexually abused by a close family friend as a child. The result of which has led to an almost toxic pairing, when these two flawed individuals attempt to respond to their extremely combustible passion for one another.
Even so, it is these flaws and insecurities that make Relentless an even better story. Sienna Parks clearly know how to develop characters who are multidimensional and how to weave a tale that keeps you reading on.
I now understand why Book One of this series, Flawless, made Lily and Xander's relationship so perfect, trusting and problem free. This is a heartbreaking and emotional read, which takes you on a rollercoaster journey that you do not expect. This story is hot and steamy, and these two are perfect for each other. We first met these two characters in Flawless. No spoilers please give this series a chance for yourself!
This author has written a beautiful story, and I was hooked and intrigued throughout. This story has it all; every emotion possible, as well as humour and frustration. I am in awe at how much this authors work has gone from strength to strength, and I highly recommend her work for all readers. Amazing work Sienna!!

Addi and Carter together are like fire and gasoline. So hot but qickly burn out. Addi, because of her past, is a one and done kinda girl. Carter, a player in his own right, isn't willing to let Addi walk away after their incredible night together. They stumble towards a relationship but its a rough, rocky road they travel. Misunderstandings lead to Addi running away once again, carrying a secret. Eventually they find their way back to one another but trust issues on both sides strain their relationship. When Addi almost loses her life, both she and Carter finally realize that their love for one another is all that matters.

Tears, Laughter, Anger and Happiness all in one book
I suspected something from the first book had caused Addi to be well non committal to men, but the story told in this book brought tears and anger for a fictional character that probably is in part several women out there in the worlds real story in part or whole. The way that Carter’s character was written to complement and become Addi’s savior and protector was really good. This was a well written and deep love story with a beautiful HER
I recommend this book to anyone that wants great depth and warmth in there romance story. Be warned some of the content can cause tears.

Book Two...
The story of Jess & Simon is perhaps one of the BEST I've read in a very long time.It is probably the ONLY book that held my interest within every single page.I laughed so hard in the first 1/2 & cried even harder in the second 1/2!!!!There came a point I was literally fighting to breathe!Both characters were AMAZING...they were either tearing each others clothes off or tearing each other apart!Massive heart wrenching situations.Eva Simone this story is soooooo worth every star it's getting,I couldn't put the book down...was up till 5 am to finish it!!!Now how do I go on without Jess and Simon's thermonuclear relationship ? Waiting unimpatiently for Nate and Sofia's story!!!

I liked this first book better. Carter was awesome in this book ( expect when Addi would break it off with him again and he went about his playboy ways) but never before have I wished I could reach inside my Kindle and throat punch someone. Abbi being that person she drove me crazy and treated Carter like the dirt on the bottom of her shoe. I get it she had things happen to her in the past but how much does one person have to do before you know they are telling the truth. I will read the next book because I got it a long time ago and I want to know Logan's story.

Wow, this story really puts the contempt in contemporary. This couple spends as much time fighting and apart as they do together. The whole relationship is so explosive, it does not take much fuel to start a fire.
I love this story, the heroin with the tragic past and the hero who wants to save all women, but one in particular. This story is full of drama and suspense. I laughed and cried. It is a great story.

"Tempting Her Neighbor was a sweet, sexy read about a complete introvert and a social butterfly that live in the same small town. Cole wants to remain hidden but Rachel wants to move out of the small town and fly to spread her wings. Both are so stuck in their own heads that neither seem to realize there is more than what they know.
I loved watching Cole come to live with Rachel and I enjoyed how Cole managed to calm Rachel. It was enjoyable to read.

This story is a heartbreaking read. Entertaining love story. Addi and Carter have great chemistry.The characters were well developed. Relentless is not your typical boy meets girl, they fall in love and no worries, no stress type of life. This story will pull you in, and have you crying, cheering, and yelling all within the first half of the book. There is so much more to this story that you just need to take the time to read it. You won't be disappointed.

This is the second book in the Manhattan Knights series & I loved it. Even though, I wanted to yell and reach out & strangle Addi several times in this book. I believed it was a great sexy & emotional read. Addi Warner & Carter Di Rossi met through their best friends. The attraction is off the charts. I’ve never highlighted so many phrases on my kindle before!

Keep Your Tissues Handy While Reading This Book.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book, Relentless by Sienna Parks.
I feel completely emotionally drained after reading this book. I have had my heart ripped from my body and put back together so many times while reading it. But oh so worth it! I would read it all over again in a heartbeat. Marvelous book. Incredible story and characters. I fell so in love with them. Sienna has an amazing way with words.
2 players meet at a restaurant opening for a friend and are immediately attracted to each other. They spend the night together, planning it will be a one time occurrence but end up so drawn to each other that once just isn't enough. From the beginning it is a very rocky, toxic relationship but neither one seems capable of saying goodbye and meaning it. Is there any chance the relationship can be saved? Can they grow up and learn how to love, trust and respect each other?

Relentless was a great story. The book was an emotional roller coaster. Was full of angst, heartbreak and sadness but with that there was so much love and passion. Definitely played with your heartstrings. I thought this was a great read!

Addi has personal issues that she doesn't explain to Carter and their relationship is tentative at best. Carter's patience runs thin as Addi has a habit of running away. The back and forth gets frustrating even for the reader.
This book is very good. It is intense. The sex is intense. The drama is intense. The suspense is intense. Thank goodness for the epilogue. It allowed me to breathe and put everyone in their place...almost.

It has been quite a while since I have read a book that has taken me on an emotional rollercoster of a ride and left me an emotional wreck, but that is just what Relentless has done. This book is extremely well written and has a storyline that will literally rake you over the coals. It will make you laugh, cry, become angry, running for a cold shower and run completely over you.
The characters are so very well defined and complex. You feel their joy, their lust, they pain.
They are hot, steamy and a pair that are so perfect for each other, one who will move mountains to be with the love of their life, the other so scared to make a committment that they runaway, because they are afraid of being rejected. Carter and Addi will have you laughing, crying and just wanting more. These are two people who both need to learn from the things that have happened to them in their past and move forward to make their present everything that they want and deserve.

Addi and Carter meet through their mutual friends Lily and Xander Rhodes, the fireworks are instant. Addi is the female version of a "male player", she only sees a guy once, no emotional attachments - she's the "love them and leave them" girl. Carter is the male version of Addi, he too does not want a permanent relatonship - he's the fierce Italian who will do anything to protect those that he loves.

This book absolutely had my full attention form the very beginning until the very end. I was not able to put it down. I fell in love with Carter the minute I was introduced to him. Sienna Parks has outdone herself with Relentless. I couldn't read fast enough and then, I didn't want it to end. Addi and Carter's book is a heartbreaking read, that will have you crying on several occasions. I can't imagine the pain and suffering Addi had to endure because of Gavin. I'm not going to leave any spoilers because I want everyone to read this well written book. Of course, we still get to catch up with Xander and Lily too. I can't wait to read the next book about Vittoria and Logan. Do yourself a favor and one-click Relentless.

Addi and Carter are both one night stand kinda people. Until they met each other. The sparks between them were undeniable, but Addi denied her feelings as long as she could, then gave in to the unavoidable. But every time Carter tries to get closer to Addi she fights it...and it's all linked to her past. The angst...woah! Unexpected surprises, the Italian stud falling back into his playboy ways, and misunderstandings made for a truly engrossing book! Can't wait for Logan's book!!
