J. Matthew Saunders, a native of Greenville, South Carolina, is the author of numerous published fantasy and horror short stories. He received a B.A. in history from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree from the School of Journalism at the University of South Carolina. He received his law degree in California and practiced there as an attorney for several years.

Book 3 Elizabeth's story. The search continues for Dracula's medallion and Adam and Arkady are still trying to work out the puzzles, when Clara is abducted and finds herself in a secluded manor house and captive of a man both seductive and terrifying. As Adam races to find the medallion and save Clara, someone or something always seems one step ahead of them leaving a bloody trail across Romania.
A fantastic ending to a great trilogy. We get Elizabeth's story told through Clara's dreams. A proper Vampire story.

WTF!!

WTF that's what I said when I finished this book lol. Elizabeth was such a bitch . I've read many books about vampires, this series I think is my favorite.

A good ending to the series, which had lost its momentum in the second book. It ties up loose ends that were set up from the beginning, but I feel like some things were left unresolved—it could have used an epilogue. I would have liked to see an exploration of the dynamics among the three of them together.

A lot of action...not a lot of story! I'm just disappointed with the ending that didn't really end...and a Dracula, one who persisted in controlling world affairs throughout history, being meek and mild and content to ride off into the sunset. Definitely not my favorite vampire hero!
