Music Learning Theory for Newborn and Young Children (2013 Edition) treats the most critical learning period in every individual s musical life: birth to age five. Written for parents and early childhood music teachers, this latest revision is the most authoritative of its kind by the man many consider to be the leading educator and researcher in music education. Professor Gordon shares insights and research from almost twenty-five years of guiding young children in music learning.
Very interesting insights into how children learn music theory. I appreciate the work that Gordon has contributed to this field, but he says everything in such an extreme manner that it threw me off slightly.
Este libro es excelente, explica de una forma muy rápida, directa y clara los principios de la teoría de aprendizaje musical de Gordon y algunos principios básicos e incluso recomendaciones para dar clases en estas edades.
Great book on how children under 5 years process and understand music. Thoroughly researched. easy to read, organized well. If you are interested in working with children 5 and under in music education, this book really is a must. This is an invaluable resource to have. And...Basically, this is the EXACT education you receive if you go to a Music Together training.
