Break Me is about revenge, forgiveness & redemption. Sometimes you have to hear the whole story before you understand what really happened. This is my first Logan Chance read (there will be many more) & I was absolutely amazed by this story & his writing. We have a damaged war veteran who struggles with PSTD but has managed to create a successful business. We have a determined business woman who is so focused on making partner that she doesn't have much else in her life. When Pollux & Katy's paths cross Pollux situates himself into her life & makes it very difficult to get rid of him. But it isn't until they grow closer that Katy learns the truth about who Pollux is. This book is meant for mature readers.

Wow. Every time Logan Chance releases a new book, they get better and better and that’s tough to do!
His last release is still one of my favourite books from the past year and I didn’t think it could be topped, but this book was an emotional ride!
I can’t say much about the plot at all without giving away spoilers, so I’ll stay away from details.
What I can say is that Logan has a gift for effortlessly combining humour, poignant moments, profound sadness and complex characters with smokin’ hot, sexy times to create a really intense, satisfying and steamy love story.
And also…I love it when the plot twists actually surprise me and I did not see those twists coming. At. All. Such a great book!

5 Stars to Break Me (Sex Me #4) by author Logan Chance.
This is the fourth book in this series. All the novellas can be read as standalone. And although there are some connections to previous books in the series, they are loosely related. I loved the first book when it came out and each one after has been my new favorite. I will say it now...Break Me is my favorite Logan Chance book. This amazing book had all the feels. There were some twists and turns that I did NOT see coming. It was all around a great book, engrossing and engaging me through all the text.

Pollux and Katy start off the book with fast paced heat and chemistry. Seriously, from page one I was completely engaged. These two characters meet at a formal party. Circumstances have them faking a relationship. The more time they spend together strengthens their connection. Their chemistry is hot. It's also believable. And the intimate moments between Katy and Pollux were off the charts sexy and erotic.
Katy was looking to make partner at her current job and it seems like she'll do almost anything to make that happen. But as the story goes on, circumstances change and what was first thought of as important is questioned.
I loved how the author took a predictable trope and twisted it so that I was really surprised. I want to be very careful with what I say as to not give away any spoilers. I will say that when secrets are revealed, there will be tension and grief. Only a strong bond will survive.
This book dove deep into my heart and days later the effects are still there; it was just amazing and I wished it were longer. It's a talent to be able to pack so much detail and story development in a book when it's fairly short. In addition, the characters were solidly written, with complexity and thought out out backgrounds. Break Me has all the feels.
I can't wait to see what Logan Chance writes next!

When i read my first Logan Chance solo written novel, i fell in love with the unexpected turn of events that really knocked me on my butt. My emotions were so wrapped up and it took me some time to get over that roller coaster ride, falling in love with the realism of who and what Houston and Marley are. The last thing i ever expected was to catch up with them once more when we meet Katy - Houston's sister, and Pollux, two strangers who find one another at Katy's work function.
4.5 sexy dreams
In true Logan Chance fashion, i was floored at all the twists and turns that i never expected! It was gritty, dirty and still as emotionally gripping as Study Me. I loved every moment of this story and couldn't read it fast enough. Katy and Pollux were funny, sexy and fascinating to the point where i'm hoping to get an update on these characters, however unexpected, in the future to get to know exactly what happens to them because let's face it, when Logan Chance writes, it's not always unicorns, hearts and chocolates - sometimes life is messy and confusing and he delivers exactly that.

I absolutely adore this book. The author has written a story with such passion and emotion that it’s impossible not to get caught up in the story. The characters are so well thought out and developed that their emotions seemed to flow right through to my soul. The book is Absolutely phenomenal in my humble opinion!!!
Pollux has come to NY on a mission. A mission the reader gets glimpses of but isn’t told the details of. However what Pollux doesn't count on is Katy, the sexy executive at Master’s firm that he has some very erotic encounters with (to say they are anything short of erotically hot would be a huge understatement). Don’t get me wrong, Pollux has every intention of using her to obtain his goals, he just didn’t expect to care about her. As for Katy, she in turn makes plans to use Pollux as her fake fiancée to become a partner at Masters and he is all to willing to oblige if it keeps her in his radar and in his bed.
I don’t do spoilers, but I will say hold onto your hats and your hearts in this Absolutely Must Read, because almost nothing is going to happen like what you think it will. I can’t say more without ruining the amazing storyline, do I’ll simply say 1-CLICK THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW!!! I Guarantee you won’t be sorry you did! And to Logan Chance, if you happen to read this, may I say you have totally outdone yourself with this one! KUDOS for a job well done!

With each book in the Sex Me Novella series I feel Logan Chance is diving deeper into our hearts and souls with these characters. Introductions between Katy and Pollux are slightly different from the usual way you'd meet someone for the first time but damn, I wouldn't want it any other way. Both Katy and Pollux accept decisions that are deceiving those around them but it's a chance they're willing to take. What started out as pure lust between these two develops into much more and we're brought through an incredible journey. When truths are revealed I was left gasping and jaw dropped. This story hits hard on so many emotional levels that I just couldn't put it down. If you're anything like me when you're finished you'll sit and take in everything that has happened. Phenomenal read that you can not pass up. This story had to be told and you NEED to hear it for yourselves, grab you copy. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Every time Logan releases a new book I have a new favorite. I read it, love it, feel so much emotion and think it's got to be his best book ever. Then he writes another one and it's the same thing all over again. So here we are with my new favorite! ❤️
Pollux and Katy were amazing. He's so self assured and cocky but has such a dark past. She's had a hard time lately and has tragedy in her past but is trying to make the best of her life. Their stories both together and individually are so emotional. This may be a quick read but it gives us so much. I love getting to see some characters from the past novellas as well. I started reading and I didn't want to stop. Everyone must read this novella!!

This is by far Logan's best book to date. It's not often that you read a novella and feel like it's enough, however Logan pours so much into this series of novella's that you don't feel like you are missing out on anything. Pollox and Katy's story is NOT one that you can see coming. Logan has written this in a way that feel like you are a part of what is going on. Because I am not a spoiler fan I will tell you that DAAAAAAAMN is it sexy beyond words and I was serioulsy captivated with what was going on.

My first book by Logan and I actually liked it. You see, I usually go for stories that are not filled with 'doing it'. But here, I got just the right amount of everything!

Holy Smoke Batman this book was scorching hot. The chemistry, connection and the sex scenes in this book between Katy and Pollux will have you cranking the air conditioner to freezing to cool yourself down. This novella will have you thinking it is just a typical story where boy meets girl, they are attracted to each other and decide to make the most of this meeting to help each other out with an agreeable arrangement, you know the one where no feelings are involved. Don't let this story fool you because believe me this is Logan Chance's best work to date. Katy and Pollux's story will break you, it will make you cry and I am sure all of us can relate to this story in some form. This book will have you captivated from page one and believe me you will not be able to tear yourself away for one minute. Not only is this book a scorching hot read but it is emotional, full of twists and surprises and at the end of this story Pollux will have a place deep in your heart. Break me is one hundred percent a five star read.

I knew this book from Logan Chance would be different from everything I had read from him. I had just not expected to love it so much. Seing all the colours he hadn't shown before was actually real extacy... yep, like the drug. It made me feel things I've never felt reading him. Because he swam in all the waters I crave for; he gave me exactly what I always wished for him to write... and even more. I've become addicted in no time, because he MASTERED it. He own this style, clearly. But be prepared: its HIM like you have never seen him before.
Because Break Me is highly intriguing, even drives you in so many directions (intentionally of course), you feel so hung on it, its nearly impossible to stop (no,seriously, it is!). There is many things different in his writing also this time: he fucking enjoy playing with you as a reader. Yup! Its there, black on white. All the way trough the end, he wave a carrot in front of you, dares you and for heaven sake, almost winks to you as if he's asking ; "do you want to continue?" "What do you think, Logan?" You feel like screaming! "Yes, more, please!" And then you roll your eyes realizing that he's REALLY Pollux... all the way down. He's not the author anymore; he's the damn character!
Intrigued, are you now (like, what the hell is she talking about, huh?)

He drove me there and by the middle of the book, I had 20 possible scenarios to where he was going and you know what! I felt like flipping him the bird getting there and realized the final destination!
I was pouting almost because I saw SOME of his game.... but damn him! He tricked me! ONE I NEVER SAW coming at all! I couldn't !!! He had a good damn 4 Aces in his hands all along but I hadn't realized until some point that we were playing poker mind game! I literally melt on my chair. It was genially orchestrated.
You have no idea what I'm talking about, right? Well, tough luck! I'll let him drive you crazy with Break me.

Logan Chance brings hot and sexy to the highest level possible. This story is heartbreaking. It will touch you there on the bottom of your heart. And you will really feel it beating so fast. Tears will falling, eventually leading to the happiness everyone dreams about. The story is real, is pain, is broken heart, but is also hope, faith, love. The characters ? Wow. They are so good it will be impossible not to fell hard and deep in love with them. But no matter how much pain and sadness has been in their lives, they have to stand up and keep fighting.Fighting for themselves, for their dreams, for their love.
I can't end this review without saying anything about the hot scenes!!!! Yes it's true Katy and Pollux story will make you cry but will make you laugh out loud too. And when it comes to love, it will give you everything! He's a god! U want it hard and raw, you get it, you want it sweet and slow, you get it too! And those scenes are EXCELLENT!!!! and their hot chemistry is like the stars on the darkest sky. I'll really want to read more by this author.

This book I can't even. Best.Book.Yet by Logan Chance. I can't put in to words how much I loved this book and how much Pollux captured my heart.

isn't it a given, with a booking saying by logan chance and you automatically one click? this book was terrific. you can't say enough about it. the pain and twists. the love and laughter? this was a story you might think is all light and fun in the beginning and somewhere it goes and flips on you. it might or might not fit back to light, but I'm gonna let you read this one to find out. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I got a arc copy for my honest review. I will still buy for the sole reason of owning it, that's how much I loved it

Wow this book is truly amazing!! This book is full of secrets, lost loves and the hardest thing to do, forgiveness. Pollux and Katy is a chemistry filled chance meeting that leads to so much more. They both hold secrets and past regrets but can they stay strong together or let the storm break them? This book shattered me but also put me back together in the most wonderful way.

Break Me by Logan Chance blew me away. This book has it all including lust and love, a twist and some tears.
Logan has a way to make you feel as if you're there in the story. The witty banter between Katy and Pollux, the hot sex and the all around attention to details is what makes this book stand out for me.

Break Me is the perfect title for Logan Chance's newest release because that is exactly what this book did.. It broke me... no more like shattered me only to piece me back together by the powerful message Logan conveys.
Katy is a business woman in a man's world. She is determined to prove herself and make partner in a company that is family orniated, but being recently divorced isn't helping her case.
Pollux Clark is a domineering sexy stranger who just happens to be the answers to all her problems. So when he offers to be her fake fiance, how can she resist.
Their chemistry is explosive and what most people will only dream of having. And let's not talk about the sex scenes.. WOW!! Cold showers anyone!!
But what happens when all his lies come forth?? Is he worth the forgiveness he is asking for but doesn't feel like he deserves??

I was lucky and thankful to receive an early ARC. I loved this storyline and quickly finished it. It had many fun moments that had me laughing out loud. There is a beautiful phrase that will stick in your head.
The characters Pollux and Katy were very compatible, and I loved their strengths and courage in overcoming their fears. Pollux is a sexy alpha, and Katy is a independent strong woman.
This is a very well written book. Your going to throughly enjoy and cheer this dynamic couple . I didn't want the story to end and loved the mysterious twists.
Logan doesn't disappoint, as he continues with each book they get better. Thank you for the sweet escape. Can't wait to see what you write next! 😘

This is only the third book of Logan Chance's that I have read. And I have to admit that I love his books, I know the ones I need to get still are going to be just as great. And for a male romance writer, Logan is fantastic at writing the sexy scenes!
In Break Me we follow Katy and Pollux (I think he's been added to my harem of men!). They meet at a business function of which things get pretty heated there (in a good way). They decide to make a mutually beneficial agreement, I wont get into the details of what since you will have to read it for yourself!
I couldn't put this book down, I was done is what felt like no time at all. It had passion, something that you don't always see. It made me want to cry (I believe it's why he titled it as Break Me, because it was heartbreaking at moments).
This is a book that you need! And when I say need, I mean pre-order it now!

Oh. My. God...I didn't think it was possible for Logan Chance to top his previous book--but I was wrong. Break Me deserves so many more stars than 5...I would pluck handfuls of stars from the heavens and make a pathway to this book. It's simply that good, and that deserving. It totally changes how one perceives truth or revenge or love or hate. It's an emotionally charged read that stays with you long after you hit "The End." This book was truly an emotional roller coaster...and you'll never look at love the same way again. You need to read this book--wrap your arms around the characters; get lost in the words; and rejoice at the HEA. ❤️ (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally mesmerized by it!) ❤️

Not sure if I can put into words how amazing this book was. I have read each and every one of Logan's books and I did not think they could get any better but man did he prove me wrong with Break Me. Katy and Pollux have explosive chemistry from page one and I loved every minute of it. The turn this book takes will break your heart but Logan being the amazing writer he is puts it back together with his amazing words.

I just couldn't put this book down. This is by far the HOTTEST book Logan has written in my opinion. No spoilers I absolutely couldn't get enough of the sex scenes between Pollux and Katie. Pollux has definitely replaced all previous book boyfriends He's what every woman is looking for deep down.
My face actually hurt because I had a huge stupid smile on my face reading it.
When I got to the end...... I thought. I'm gonna have to read this one again!!!!!

Pollux is hot and dark. Katy is a sexy siren. After a torrid quickie Pollux fake engages to Katy on a whim. She decides it may help here cause to be engaged so she convinces him to continue the ruse.
The sex scenes are dark and hot. Highly recommend reading Study Me first as Houston is Katy's brother. Absolutely amazing!!

In Break Me, we meet Katy and Pollux. This is a fun story or two people who are thrown together by different agendas and start caring for each other. I really enjoyed the dynamic between these two. It was steamy and so much fun! I'm a huge fan of Logan Chance and I love the stories he brings us. This one is no different and I highly recommend it.

DIRTY KNEES REVIEWS: Break Me by Logan Chance 5 Knees!
I's the end of an era...sort of speak. This was the last of the Sex Me Novella Series...it came in like a lamb and went out like a lion on steroids! I am so in love with this particular story line, I have a hard time putting into words how I feel without giving spoilers but I will try my best.
If you have read Study Me (this one damn near broke me) than you will love this one. The best way for me to simulate what this book did for me is at the beginning I'm skipping through a sunny meadow, loving life. As I come over the hill I am suddenly on a rollercoaster, terrified and exhilarated all at the same time and when the ride ends, I'm at peace.
The story starts off pretty freaking hot and just keeps going, an easy and entertaining read. Logan has the build up and the sex part of any story he writes nailed down pretty damn good. It's the emotional hold he had on me towards the end is what is so intriguing about his approach. He really knows how to strum your heart strings and it's not subtle and it's not over the top.
It's perfect.
And the epilogue Paula Dawn wrote...not only a perfect ending to Break Me but a poignant conclusion to the entire Sex Me series.
Everything you ever want from a Logan Chance book is encompassed in here and surpassed all my expectations.

The sense of loss that the characters feel from losing family members is completely real. The author has to have experienced a major loss in his own family to be able to write with the heartbreaking clarity that is expressed by Pollux and Katy's brother, Houston.
Having lost my husband to a terrible accident, the anguish, anger, and the survivor's guilt, hit me very close to home. Years haven't diminished the pain of loss. All the same feelings come through in the books characters.
The plot and the telling of this tale are outstanding! This is the first book I have read by this author!

Logan Chance has done it again! This author has a way with his words, storylines and characters.
Break me is all about revenge, forgiveness. We are introduced to war veteran who struggles with PTSD. Pollux is a successful business owner, when we first meet Pollux , boy did he leave an impression.
We then are introduced to Katy , Katy is determined to make partner at the firm she is working for. When Pollux and Katy's path cross, Pollux makes himself known into her life and he makes it very difficult for her to get rid of him. Pollux and Katy become really close and it isn't until they have built this strong connection and have such amazing chemistry that Katy finds out who Pollux really is.
Are you ready to find out what Pollux is hiding ?
Katy and Pollux have such amazing chemistry, that it was popping sparks throughout the book the whole time I was reading it. When you read this book you won't be disappointed. This author has done wonders.
