Interview with the
Q - So, what makes the Wolf Enforcers series of books special?
A - I'm a huge romantic suspense reader and love all the twists and turns you get with a good thriller, but since I also love paranormal romance with all the sexy alpha shifters, it seemed like a fabulous idea to combine the two. I wrote Blood Enforcer several years ago, and it's been hiding in the back of my files for a while, but once I'd finished my other Sexy Shifter series it was time to get it out. And I'm so happy I did because now you get to read alpha wolves solving thrilling crimes.
Q - What order should I read the books in?
A - These books read well in order. The only stand alone is Rogue Enforcer and that one is exclusively available as part of my Jessica Aspen Starter Library that you get when you sign up for my newsletter
Here's the best
- WOLF ENFORCER
- LONE ENFORCER
- BLOOD ENFORCER
- PACK ENFORCER
and you can read ROGUE ENFORCER any time. J
Q - So, why should readers give these books a try?
A - If you like fast-paced romantic suspense with sexy alpha shifter wolves than, you'll love all the WOLF ENFORCER romances. It's what I like to read, paranormal and suspense combined, so I know you'll love it. Oh, and did I mention that every book has a happily-ever-after and hot alpha shifters...and we love hot alpha shifters, don't we?
Thanks for reading!

Three and a half Sometimes you just want to see an author take an idea ( in this case shifters ) and completely turn it on its head . Well that's exactly what I found with this book. Serena has a wolf of her own which she can sense but doesn't actually shift except when in the dreamscape . Now obviously those who can physically transform might not view the dream walking , latent wolves as being ' true wolves ' but nevertheless Serena is determined to aid all shifters no matter what skin they wear. Serena met Sam briefly and shared a few kisses but her inner wolf never quite forgot him. Serena is more than ready to take things further and after texting Sam moves across country to start a new job and explore the thing that seems to be between them. So imagine her horror when she mistakenly jumps his twin brother Gabe. Oh boy are things about to get complicated! I wasn't quite sure exactly how this story would pan out and I really hoped it wouldn't end as a ménage and luckily the author had a unique way of settling things. Two very alpha males pushed to the end of their tether with a very confused possible mate right in the middle . Somehow though Serena realises exactly who she truly wants but unfortunately there's someone else who really wants Serena! Hmm this actually got better as the story developed and I liked the way the possibility of dream walking was explored and used to bring about a resolution. Not exactly full of suspense as the reader knows just who else is in the mix but certainly surprises along the way and of course heated scenes leading to romance. Plus a completely different approach to mating with a fever but to know more you have to read the book. One thing for sure these wolves are very possessive !
I love shifter stories and I really enjoyed this captivating and interesting story. The story-line and characters are interesting and I like them. I also enjoyed the suspense, intrigue and twists and turns in this story. I look forward to reading more from this writer.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book in a brand series from Jessica Aspen . What would you do if you move to a new place and start a new job . Then finding out the man you want as your mate isn't the one you really want . Its his twin brother that gets Serena's blood a boiling and her wolf to sit up and howl repeatedly. Well that's what happens to Serena as she heads to Colorado for her new job as a dream walker . Her boss really hates her and she has a stalker on top of trying to figure out who she should be with. The characters in this book are so developed . Serena is a dream walker. Her wolf comes out in dreams and she doesn't exactly transform into a wolf . She is a very strong woman who really knows what she wants . But she also has some insecurities about her wolf and will anyone really want her and understand her . Enter Sam and Gabe , wolf shifter twins and enforcers for the pack . Serana shared a passionate kiss with Sam. Sam oozes sexiness and is all alpha man . He is gruff and oh so sexy . The man she though she wanted . Enter Gabe the splitting image of Sam and way so sexy but also sensitive and wants Serena . They all are such great characters with strengths and weakness that will make you want to cry and laugh . I have read all of Jessica's books and I sat down and devoured this book in one sitting . The author takes us on a rollercoaster ride of emotions . I laughed and cried and was on the edge of my seat a few times . This book has it all , a mystery , romance and plenty of action to keep you turning pages well into the night . I can't wait for the next book in the series . This is a series that will keep you up all night and then dreaming of your wolf shifter . So if you are a fan of paranormal romance with an adventure mixed in . Check out this new series and check out WOLF ENFORCER. Add this book to your summer reading list NOW you will not be disappointed
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I'm not one who usually reads allot of romance novels since they don't really have a point aside from the sex scenes. However, Wolf Enforcer had a viable plot line that held my interest as well as characters I became invested in.
Serena meets Sam and after a passionate kiss and her inner wolf's desire for a mate moves away from her family and support only to end up falling in love with Sam's twin brother Gabe. While Serena realizes what is happening she does try to fight it and while it isn't an instantaneous fall in love moment I do believe she gave up on Sam a bit to quickly.
To make her life even more complicated she has a stalker and while he is prevalent throughout the story Serena isn't really aware of it till a bit to late. I love that the author chose to include his point of view. It allowed for the story to have more depth.
This has to be one of the best books I've read after it was selected for publication by kindle scout. I'm very happy I got a chance to nominate and then read this story. I can't wait to find out what happens next and learn more about the mystery man introduced at the end of the book.
I voted for this book on Kindle Scout and received a free copy when it was selected.
The author had an interesting take on the shifter world, this one dominated by women. There were other types who interacted with true shifters, like dream walkers. I was intrigued. The story was written in several POVs. I found myself eager to get to the antagonist's pov to see what was going on in his head. I enjoyed most of the story, though I felt bad for one of the characters (we don't find out what was really done to him though we know how). I felt Serena was leading the men on, though it truly was not her intentions. I disliked her character because of this, but I also understood her hesitations and faux pas.
This was the first book I've read from this author and I thought this was a interesting first read. I applaud the time that was taken to edit and revise. I found their were no grammatical issues that distracted me from this created world. While, this story did not suck me into it, I believe it was a good read and look forward to reading the next book.
***SPOILERS*** I haven't read popular romance genre novels in quite some time. It was once my favorite, anything from no-name one book wonders, to Blaze and Desire series, Christine Feehan, Donna Grant, Nora Roberts, Angela Knight, Keri Arthur and so on. But my tastes developed and matured a bit from the hormone-raged teen that once devoured paranormal romances like candy. So take that into consideration before reading my review.
I was offered this book as a download after joining Prime and downloading Kindle (yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm behind-I prefer real physical books thank you very much). So I decided the blurb sounded intriguing and that it would be nice to revisit the old romance genre after so much time away from it. I'd just finished a few heavy reads and was looking for something easy and refreshing. I got what I wanted-sort of.
I started this at lunch and was finished by dinner. So you could definitely call it a quick read. So, things I liked... females were in power, not every shifter could actually shift, and the fact there were twins. Always gotta love twins in any story. Liked the scenery. Love me some stars and mountains and such.
But that's about as far as my likes carried. Now for the issues I had. Gabe and... (I actually forgot her name for a sec... )Serena begin summarizing what they like about the other and it got me confused. They mouth banged upon meeting each other (won't spoil why) then went on a half date. He asked about two questions, she gave not quite in-depth answers then her new boss makes a snarky comment and she gets so concerned about what someone else thinks that she bails on the date before food is even ordered. That's as far as their interaction went. Suddenly they both think the other is just so funny and perfect and all these personality quirks they somehow managed to pick up on in a few minutes. I'm not a fan of the types of romances where it's instant insane lust, followed by tons of self-denial for not very substantial reasons, followed by diving head first and throwing those thin made-up barriers to the wind all for a few frantic encounters, then suddenly love magically happens and it's real. I know this is the trope of most romances, but damn does it wear thin. Even back in my romance-devouring teenager years, it grated on me.
I liked some of the tension between the brothers, but it certainly became weird that Serena was even confused. She felt nothing for Sam after meeting him again yet every time she was with Gabe she would deny her feelings and claim it was only out of mistaken identity. Then it was blaming the inner wolf which at least made more sense as it seemed non-shifting... shifters... (dreamwalkers or something) were not as affected by their wolf self as actual shifters. I suppose that would have been better to me, if the denial or resistance was solely due to the desire for the wolf to claim a mate and the earlier mistaken identity issue not be the primary reason for Serena's self-denial of her attraction to Gabe. On that note though, the wolf's desperation and promiscuous easiness made these shifters seem like, well, simple creatures. I don't know if it was because she couldn't actually shift or if it was due to being female, but I thought it strange that her inner wolf was just like 'eh it's an alpha so this one'll do. Or this one. Don't care, whichever one's closer.' One would think the inner wolf would want her true mate the way the competing alpha males seem so sure.
Now for the plot mover beyond the romance. Vince. Stalker Vincy we see immediately. We know him by name, know something is off about him, and know that he is already obsessed with Serena. Right from the get-go. I would have preferred more suspense or mystery or anything, really. If the stalker was a no-name, we could be guessing the whole time whether it was one of the fever-crazed alphas, Vince, or someone else we hadn't considered. But because we know right off the bat, all the oomph is gone. This is a romance so we already know everything ends swell and peachy. That's what is expected in this genre. So it just became a chore of trudging through the Vince plot knowing it would wrap up nice and neat via one or both of the alphas and everything would be about the romance again.
I had issues with the Vince guy. He goes so far to cover his scent that's he's practically bathing in cleaners to hide it, wearing a hazmat suit and shit, but then he gets BACK into a car. He sprays outdoors shit, like trees and such, but doesn't spray anything on the car and gets back in it, hazmat suit and all (I assume, it's mentioned briefly so I guess it was only on long enough to cut down a tree). So basically, he removed the scent from himself, then climbed into cars (a relatives and then his own) that smelled like himself. After that, I'm not sure why he was so careful in the beginning then was just like 'eh I live in a wolf pack but those two alphas are the only ones to worry about and with them outta the picture, surely no one else can sniff out my scent or hers as we run off into the mountains.' Erm... 'kay, I'll play along I s'pose.
He's your cliche obsessed bad guy so I won't drone on much about him. He's the weakling, threatened by the others who can turn, blames everything on them, has a superior image of himself, plays the kind sweetheart, then suddenly loses his shit when he's denied what he wants. He worships the ground she walks on yet the moment she rejects him, suddenly he's cool with her dead. It'd have been a teensy bit more realistic if he planned to just keep her tied up until she fell for him instead of giving up so easily when he'd been so obsessed beforehand.
I couldn't get into Serena's character. She was just so wishy washy and cared way too much about what others thought and she came off as pretty sheltered. 'Wah my cabin's dark, wah my boss is mean to me, wah these twins are hot.'
I also couldn't see the point of mentioning all the different jobs and roles. I thought it would play more of a role into the story but it didn't. It was all about the love triangle and the stalker. Nothing else. There definitely needed to be more.
During the climax, they were out in the middle of nowhere, antagonist frequently reminding our protagonist that no one could find them out there. Then climax over and a few words exchanged then, like magic! Sirens sound in the woods. How did anyone know where they were or what was going on? Sure they were looking for the recent escapees (one must assume), but did these escapees tell their captured guard the details? If so it wasn't mentioned. It would have been better if sirens weren't mentioned, Serena passes out, then wakes up in a hospital and wonders if Sam got them help (y'know hinting that he's still alive instead of just completely leaving the story in the dark about that, I mean he was badly injured and the new lovers couldn't seem to be concerned with his absence. They are twins FFS! I've known many, many twins and they are all bound to each other, almost obsessed with one another. Yet these twins felt like distant brothers at best). Another issue with the climax, Serena gets beaten, they say she's got blood all over her, she's moaning, losing consciousness yet she eventually does pass out but then 'no problems chica, all bruises'. Er... what bruises make you pass out? No concussion at all? Even after getting thrown to the ground and getting dizzy, seeing stars, yadda yadda? 'Kay... sure... whatever... Not only that, during the climax, she mentions her therapist tactics not working and that she didn't realize how Vince was sooner, but she still should've been able to manipulate him a little. I expected her to try and play into it a little (a natural survival tactic and one that should have been instinctual for a therapist and a wolf). A therapist would know how to play into his behavior to overcome him, or at least survive him. This aspect made it feel less realistic and more like the ingredients for your typical helpless damsel in distress.
At the end I saw where the author mentions this was written out of order, book two was written first then she decided to turn backstory into it's own book. That made so much sense. It really came across in the story. Why did we need to know all the different pack positions? Why were we given zero build up to Serena and Sam's relationship to make us at least somewhat toggle along with her in confusion as to which alpha to go for? There just wasn't enough going on where there should've been. Maybe a major threat that actually required the enforcers or whatever to do whatever it was they did (just sounded like another name for campus police, really). There were kinda sorta maybe hints at this that I thought would play in but were clearly thrown in tidbits that have to do with the other book(s). I think book two should've stayed as the first one, then this released as a back story novella. It wouldn't have caused such a desire for more had that been the case and then we would've started into this one already feeling for Sam and probably rooting for him initially but curious to see how he gets broken. Granted, I'm making assumptions on what book two will be, but the end of this book's author's note made it sound like book two was Sam's romance story.
I came into this after a long hiatus from genre-fiction romances and the time between filled with literary and classic fiction so remember to take my review with a grain of salt. So yes, I probably went into this expecting more than boy meets girl, something threatens their relationship, they win. The end. There's still a decent romance story here. And those who hate side plots and just want juicy bits with a little tension thrown in, those types of readers will certainly enjoy this. At times this did read a bit like it wanted to be an erotica, which maybe would've been better. Sometimes it's 'center' and 'erection' (typical of romance novels) and other times it's 'pussy' and 'cock' (typical of erotica). I would've preferred one set of terms versus the flip-flopping. The former reads prudish like some romances tend to, while the latter read like steamy eroticas tend to. It made the book read unsure of itself. But that's probably just me. It could've been just the attempt to show differences between love-making and passionate sex, couldn't say for sure. I get the feeling book two will have a lot more going on, so I may try it out to see. This one just felt too rushed and not very fleshed out for my taste. But it's a quick read, so give it a try regardless!
Vince, a dreamwalker without a physical wolf, as Serena Lowell was, watched her walk across the parking lot. But unlike him, she could enter the dreams of the pack and help them. Serena had just moved to Colorado and for a very specific reason – she had previously had only one night to get to know Sam Wulfric, an alpha shifter, and if she were to consider him as a possible mate, she needed to know for sure that he was the one. Her new boss was Nancy Stalker, not friendly in the least, openly hostile and jealous that Serena was the daughter of a council leader back in Maine and, she figured, was the only reason Serena had been hired. The other co-worker was Vince Ethelwulf, shamans’ circle assistant and one of the few people she met from her interview a month ago. He was nice to her, but he had some anger issues with the wolf shifters. His need to please, though, made his inner wolf seem more beta than alpha.
Serena had met Sam, a pack enforcer, at her interview last month when he had joined the council members as their security. She had need to find a job away from her parents, and meeting him had made it a good choice to come here. As she hiked the trail near her cabin, a wolf stood in the path and shifted into a man – Sam! His hair was shorter, but she recognized his wolf enforcer tattoo, then he smiled and she was all over him! Gabe had scented her as he was on a run to release some tension. He never expected the greeting this woman gave him! But he had no protection and wouldn’t go further. She crawled into his arms and he knew she was “the one” – until she called him “Sam”. After a crushing realization, Gabe explained to her that he was Sam’s identical twin and, when she regretted being with him, it hurt. Why couldn’t he have met her first?
Serena’s life did not get easier. She has a boss who hates her and wants her to leave. A stalker appears and tries to woo her, keeping her nervous and on edge. And the delicious twin, Gabe, was firmly in her mind and she was falling for him. When both Gabe and Sam experience the mating fever, Serena will need to make a choice – if the crazed stalker doesn’t take all choice away from her. Who does Serena love? Will he be able to protect her from the stalker? And what will happen to the brother she has to give up?
This was a well-written book that I thoroughly enjoyed. Gabe, of course, was my favorite character. I loved his personality. Vince and Nancy were the baddies, and the author did an excellent job of portraying them so the reader felt a strong reaction to them. The story line moved along quickly. Grab your copy and see how the turmoil in Serena’s life will be resolved!
Jessica Aspen give this book her all. The Wolf Enforcer is going to be a fantastic series. The story of shifters, dramwalkers that don't shift and dramwalkers. Serena gets a new job half way across county to get away from her family. And Sam an enforcer she met at the interview. Off Serena goes to become a dramwalker therapist. The first day there she finds out the had way that Sam has a twin Gabe. She meets Gabe in the forest, as she was walking. She doesn't know it's Gabe she thinks it's Sam. It got heated but she stopped. The triangle gets started. Vince a lonely dreamwalker who don't make the cut is in love with Serena. He's really mental ill. There is passion, concussions and kidnapping in this tangle of four. Serena does love Gabe but the fever has taken over Sam too. Who will win the mate? Will Gabe and Sam find Serena in time to save her from Vince? This book is worth the read along with the series.

This was my first book by Jessica Aspen and it was amazing! It is also the first in a new series. The authors character and story development very well done and amazing making you feel as if your a part of the story. This is Gabe and Serena's story. I couldn't put this book down, it a fast paced read with drama, suspense, action, a stalker, dream walkers, shifters and magic, with sizzling romance. Serena leaves home to get a job as a dream walker therapist after falling for Sam a wolf enforcer not knowing he's a twin. When she gets there she runs into Gabe and the sizzling sparks fly, and that were the fun begins. I loved this book and can't wait for the next in the series. If you love wolf shifters and the paranormal than you will love this book! I will definitely be reading more of this author and this series!

A new twist on wolf shifters. The females rule and the males follow. With three different kinds per pack the Council is run by the shifters. There are spell-talkers and dream-walkers who don't shift but have wolves in their psyche. This is the story of a dream walker and a set of twin male enforcers. Serena left her home in Maine to take a job in Colorado with a different pack. Following the male she'd met. Only things aren't always as they seem. Now she's involved with both brothers. But which is hers? On top of that her new boss hates her and Serena isn't allowed to do the job she'd been hired for. What's a girl to do? Read on, there is a Happily Ever After for one of the brothers.
Really good paranormal romance. Very unique twist to the wolf shifter genre with the dreamwalkers, which I think are more dangerous than the actual shape shifters. Serena seemed a bit wishy washy and unable to decide who she wanted to be with which was nerve-wracking at times but she had self-esteem issues to deal with. Even though she was very gifted, I was hoping that she would eventually be able to shift. She's left a loving family and ran from friendly right into the fire. The twins element was shocking and funny at times. Looking forward to reading more in this series to not only catch up on these two but there is still a mystery to be solved. It's not a cliffhanger but it will draw you in and leave you seeking more.
Serena moves to another pack hoping to mate with Sam but finds herself drawn to his twin Gabe Serena has taken a job with a pack across the country and has been messaging Sam an Alpha wolf she had met once. She arrives late and goes straight into her job meeting so by the time she arrives at the cabin she has been allotted she is tried but has trouble getting rid of her co-worker who drove her there. Once on her own she goes for a walk along the way she sees man she thinks is Sam and they kiss and get a bit closer but then she stops him and finds out he is Sam's identical twin Gabe. Lurking in the background another man has covetous eye on her.

Wolf Enforcer by Jessica Aspen is a fast paced spicy shifter romance. In this book, a dreamwalker moves from her families pack in the Smokey Mountains to work for and join another pack in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. She is just starting a new job and the possibility of a new love when she ends up being fought over by two alpha wolf-shifter twin brothers. This book is full of sexy scenes and some definite intrigue. The characters are entertaining and the story fun to read with its unique pack structure where women are in charge. If your looking for a hot shifter romance with an interesting story you will definitely want to read this book! Wolf Enforcer is a spicy shifter romance with a surprise of pack intrigue.
Serena falls for Sam a wolf enforcer from Colorado. So she moves to get a new job in his pack as a Dream walker therapist, and to see if there was really anything lasting between them. But when she gets there she thought she was with Sam, (she didn't know that he had a twin brother) so she went all out and the sparks flew. Gabe thought it was the best day of his life, until Serena realizes that there are some things different about the man she was just with. Then she finds out that the man who she is with his name is Gabe, not Sam. And the craziness begins. I loved this book and can't wait to read the next one in the series.
A book that I really couldn't put down ( even making me late and I am never late !!) Fast and full of adventure from the very start , a mystery that will keep you wondering , a romance that started out as a disaster , a new job, a new pack , a new mate and a new danger ! For a non shifting shifter life doesn't get any more exciting than that ! This is the start ( but not the first book lol ) of a fantastic series that will thrill any shifter romance fans and keep you coming back for more.

Serena takes a job with the Windy Gap Council, a great career opportunity, but mainly to see if wolf shifter Sam whom she met before at a Pack Council meeting is her true mate. But Serena inadvertently binds herself to Sam's twin brother Gabe a fact that Sam never told her. What's a girl to do? I really felt sorry for Sam but this is what happens when you don't tell your possible mate important stuff like this. I liked Serena and Gabe's story. And thank you for giving Sam his own story with a happy ever after, right?

I loved this book!! Glemma and Sam were great characters and very likeable with hot chemistry. Glemma dealt with her situation in a normal fashion so to speak. The secondary characters were also well developed and likeable with some from previous book making an appearance. The story had lots of action and lots of sexy scenes. Reading the first book is not necessary to enjoy this book as it stands alone but I would recommend reading that one too as it was great. I received an ARC from the author and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
The story started slow and disjointed. Although every author creates their own shifter world and rules the plot here strain belief. Serena meets Sam and after 1 (alcohol-filled) night decides he is her destined mate and moves across country. She moves, sees Sam hours after arriving and sleeps with him only to find out it's Sam's twin brother Gabe. Due to interference from the villian, both think they have mating fever for Serena. The brothers pull together to save Serena but things are still rocky with Sam. I'll read the next book which is Sam's story.
What happens when you fall for a guy and he has an Identical twin. The choices you have to make and try not to hurt anyone in the process. This story covers all the possibilites with one woman and twin wolf shifters. Then you have to add into the mix a new town, new people, new nut cases, among the hot lusty men that end up with mating virus. Things go from good to bad and back again. A very well written book, keeps you glued to your seat reading just waiting to see what happens next. I can't wait for the next in this series. Definitely worth the read.
Enjoyed the book. It is full of intrigue and danger. Serena finds her mate, not in Sam but his twin, Gabe. Because of manipulation by Vince, Sam thinks he is Serena’s mate and is capable of anything to possess her, even killing his brother. There appears to be a cliff hanger in this book which will continue the series. This is a good read and a bit different from the many shifter books I have read.
Serena, a dreamwalker therapist had moved to Colorado to follow Sam and determine if her was her mate. She was really embarrassed by her behavior when she met Gabe, Sam’s twin and thought it was actually Sam. Good world building was involved in portraying this pack and the wonderful characters. There is a couple of huge cliffhangers at the end. Good read!

Oh My God A case of mistaken identity is not the words for this thrilling tale. Twins fall for Serena Lowell if she decide which one she wants more than the other she will mate with one but leave the other devastated. That is not her only problem she also has a stalker who refuses to back off. What is Serena going to do???? Only one way to find out grab the book.

There's plenty of action and romance in this story, and emotions run high as twins and a stalker all try to win Serena's love. Only one love is true, and Serena has to make the right choice, without her inner wolf interfering. The story is well-paced and kept my interest.
I received a copy of this book through the Kindle Scout program.
The plot of Wolf Enforcer was fairly simple: wolf shifter moves into a new territory and is torn between twins Gabe and Sam, with a third stalker-type twist. There are additional elements about dreamwalking and shifter politics, but those are the basics. If you like shifter stories, this is a pretty well written one.
I voted for this through Kindle Scout and was happy to see it get chosen.
I liked this story but then I was left wanting more. The plot was good but I needed more backstory - it was like you just jumped right in. Would a woman really move across the country to follow a man she's really only met briefly then texted with? However, the love triangle was a good and the scenes spicy.
