Tyme thought that she had escaped the unbidden misery she had been accustomed to. She assumed that her troubles would cease since she was finally in a good space. But when Tyme learns that something tragic has happened to her father, Joe, she becomes overwhelmed with grief. Her entire life has been dedicated to Joe, and the thought of losing him permanently causes an eerie feeling to reside in the pit of her stomach. On top of that, Tyme finds herself wedged in a situation that could prompt her to lose everything. She's forced to make a decision, but when Tyme chooses the wrong option, everything crumbles right before her very eyes. Quillon is devastated when he discovers his fiancée, Myka's betrayal. He wants revenge and desperately seeks to find it. But when Quillon finds himself on the other side of the law due to his impulsive decorum, things go from bad to worse. In addition to his relationship woes, Quillon is harboring a secret so damaging that it could provoke him to lose everything he's worked so hard for. Quillon is not one to fold under pressure, so he comes up with a plan but quickly realizes that the person closest to him may be plotting his downfall. Demeko didn't intend on falling for Tyme so quickly, but he did and he made no apologies for it. His feelings for her blossomed without warning, but Demeko isn't sure if Tyme could be the one for him. Her ability to make intelligent decisions causes him to re-evaluate their situation. Demeko is unsure if their relationship is meant to be, and that fact alone pains him. While dealing with that, Demeko is hit with an uninvited surprise that not only threatens him but his family as well. Follow this thrilling finale where relationships are challenged, and loyalty is tested.

"DUI: Drowning Under The Influence Of You 2" by Charae Lewis

My Thoughts...

There was quite a bit of dramatic in this second read of DUI that will keep the reader turning the pages to see what will be happening next in this entertaining read. When the saying karma will come...well it certainly did for several particular characters. All of the characters were quite a interesting bunch ...from Quillion, Marlene, Tyme, Jamie, Myka, Lydia, Steve, Demeko, Dina, to Gia to name a few that you keep your interest as you are kept turning the pages. I liked how this author was able to give the reader a intriguing story that one could see as even being believable especially in all that was happening to Quillion and Marlene. All I can say is that bipolarism is a very serious illness if it's not handle correctly and definitely not to be played with. Wow, after all is said and done all that is left to say is this was one emotional dramatic read that can give the reader much thought long after the read. I did enjoy that twist at the end in who had done what to whom. To really understand it all one will have to pick up this good read to see how well this author presents it all to the reader. It was really good to see the HEA that came forth.

Page turner

I enjoyed reading these two books. It was interesting to read about the common "male fantasy" of having two women. It was even more interesting to read about the aftermath.

I'm so glad that Quillon's evil ass got what he deserved and that Tyme finally found true happiness.

I would definitely recommend these books.

Patient is rewarding!

Tyme finds out her dad had been placed in a nursing home by her dirty aunt Sandy! Payback is going to be real cute Tyme is thinking. Demeko and Tyme are getting real close as he finally knows she is done with Quillon. Escaping that final time Demeko puts her somewhere safe. In the meantime Quillon is
going crazy for Tyme. Myka hates seeing her man so distraught over one woman? The passion of hatred grows and Myka does the unthinkable as she is led by Marlene Quillon’s mom. Quillon is fudged up in the mind and Marlene has a lot to do with it. There relationship is very volatile and Quillon needs his medicine. Yes laws, it’s been revealed that he is bipolar! There is so much dysfunctional and hate in the relationship between mother and son. Demeko loves his aunt and cousin but the hate is real. Tyme and Demeko develop a beautiful friendship that love is in the air but they have to fdiscover it. Myka is beaten so badly by Quillon due to Marlene spreading lies, ending up in the hospital as she tries to escape. Steve Quillons right hand man has seen and heard enough! When Quillon reveals one of his darkest secrets against Demeko his time is numbered and so is his mom’s. The turn of events in this story with so many twists and turns will have you in awe but the most perfect ending is worth the wait!!!! Loved this story!

Drowning Under the Influence of You 2

Lawd Charae you took me through a few emotions while reading this. It was long overdue for Quillon and Marlene to experience some type of karma for all their shadiness. Man I teared up for Tyme because she seemed as if she'd never get the happiness she deserved. Myka was still a piece of work for her bitterness but I'm glad Steve gave her a dose of reality because she was faulting the wrong person all along. I'll admit Demeko was on some other ish but I understood his point as well as Tyme's. Jamie was wrong for lying and I think may have been different had he just kept it real. Payback is definitely served cold but I never would've guessed who actually sealed the deal. Even with everything that transpired Quillon still didn't learn. Overall I was definitely happy with the ending.

Amazingly Awesome!!!

Charae this was true meaning of a DUI. Quillion or Marlene I just don't know who was crazier. To get a understanding of why Quillion was crazy really cleared up his obsession with Tyme. I can't believe Sandy ass had the nerve to ask for bail money. Jaime and Tyme relationship will never be the same. He chided to lie to his best friend instead of keeping it 100 with her. At some point in time we do out grow our friendships. But Demeko is winner at the end. He got the girl the company and his son out of it. Charae great read and definitely worth the money!!!!

Awesome read

I loved this book from the beginning to the end. Part 2 picked up where part 1 left off. All of the characters in the book were developed and there was not a plot that was left unanswered. There are so many different emotions that you will feel while reading this book. There were some editing issues in this book but it was not enough to deter what the book was about. I know this author does not write mystery books but I think she should give it a try because the surprises that were given to us in this book was not expected. I cannot wait to read another book from this author. I appreciate her work and the realistic qualities that she puts in her work.

The Real Deal.

Wow. Where do I start this Author did her thing great work. I was waiting for part 2 and couldn't believe it when I found it at 4am this morning. I've been reading it since then non stop. The story felt so real she made the characters seems so freaking real. I cried for Tyme I really felt her pain, she suffers so much I just wanted her to catch her break. I will definitely read more from this Author.

Lastly the reason, I will continue to support this Author, is cause she came out with book 2 in a quick and hurry.

THAT'S HOW YOU GET IT DONE. THE OTHER FOOT DRAGGERS NEED TO LEARN FROM HER.

Over all great read.

Tyme and Demeko's story had a cohesive ending. Tyme finally had some positive moments and she deserved it. It was tragic that her father passed away but I think the most important message was that she was able to survive without her father. Quillon and his mother Marlene were so ruthless. I liked that Myka found love with Steve and got away from Quillon. She didn't deserve the abuse and I'm glad she was able to move on. Lydia's role shocked me the most. I was disappointed in Jaime. The topics covered in this book were bipolar disorder, murder, blackmail, abuse, trauma, grief, love, friendship, and so much more.

This was definitely the perfect ending to this story.. Quillon and Marlene were sum horrible ppl that got everything they deserved and more in the end.. I'm so happy that things turned around for Tyme.. She was dealt a horrible hand but Demeko and Ms. Dina really came thru for her.. I started to like Myka a bit more in this part.. I'm glad she finally got a backbone.. Just like pt 1 this story was well written and extremely hard to put down..lol Great job Charae.. 💗💗

Demeko and Tyme

This was a great book. Quillon once again was something else especially what he did to Myka yes she was weak but she didn't deserve his mistreatment. Nobody ever does when they are in love with someone. I am glad Tyme found her dad but it's sad that's he wasn't able to see her be happy and have a baby. Quillon and his mother got what they deserved especially Quillon. I am glad Steve and Myka found each other because Myka needed someone to truly love on her. I loved Demeko and Tyme relationship they was meant to be for real. ❤️

Promise you

I promise you this series was the best. I'm ecstatic that this series didn't drag out. Can you say karma is a B man Quillion and Marlene got just what they deserved. Tyme and Demeko was just made for each other I was happy Jamie man up at let her live her life without making her feel guilty. Myka I with Tyme and still don't like her for part in the drama and not being mad at the right person. Overall if I could give it 10* I would.

Yes awesome read

This was a awesome continuation to part 1. Q and Marlene had some serious issues. Myka found herself after a near death wake up call. Tyne had a moment of breakdown but Demeko showed up and came thru as always. Demeko is Bae all day and his mom is a wonderful person too. This was a emotional read at times and had twist never seen coming. Keep up the great work Ms. Lewis.

Satisfied Reader

This book was very intriguing. Tyme and Demeko was great together. I loved them. Jamie really disappointed her but she was able to forgive. Quillion got what was coming to him and that was the perfect plan. Let me find out Lydia is gangsta. Steve and Myka who would've thought. Bipolar is a very serious illness and it can really damage you if you don't take your meds appropriately. I loved the way she brought that in the story. Great Job

I'm so happy that Quillion got what was coming to him . What Quillion and Marlene did to thyme wasn't right at all . I enjoyed that this series wasn't drawn out . I'm glad that thyme got her happy ending . Wasn't my favorite from this author . I gave it this rating cause I actually enjoyed that twisted end

Quillon was a piece of shit, but I didn't like that he got his "karma" by being set up and framed for a murder he didn't commit while the people who did it got to live happily ever after like they did the right thing. Marlene was also a piece of shit, but damn...shot in the neck?

This series wasn't my favorite, but I ain’t nowhere near done with this author.
