Realistic
Alot of reality in this book. There were tears and sadness while reading. I can say that this will not be my last book I get from A.J. Write because she wrote the heck out of this book. I was moved from beginning to ending. The twist to everything came in the end. Karmen went through alot growing up from being rapped, bullied, jumped, and abandoned. My heart was with Karmen. The way she take the ease off this isnt right and it shows in the end. The things that happened with Karmen should be talked about more in real life. The roommates are something else with they triflin and greedy behinds. Leel is the guy wanting to save Karmen...from what it appears. In the begiin seem like the guy of her dream, but towards the end some of his crazy traits started to show. I cannot tolerate some of the characters in this book like K, Cresha, and Rashid . Then there's Juelz the guy I think will be the one for Karmen.. Juelz went through alot also growing up in the streets. I was really teary-eyed when I saw the situation with Grant. Alot of secrets came out which was a good thing because I was anxious to find out the truth behind Pilar and her family. Some errors but they did not take away from the story what so ever. I'm waiting to see what will take place in part 2.

Omgoodness
Oh my goodness.. I'm so mad. I was so caught up in the story that I didn't realize I was on the last page!! Omg I pray there's a part two. I need to know what happens to Karmen and definitely what becomes of Pilar and Juelz. And I understand Juelz being upset.. But how dare he be mad at Pilar.. Ugh. Let me stop I don't want to give to much away. But this book is deep. The ending had me locked.. My eyes were burning from the three hour read... But I need to know what happens next.

Loved It
This was a beautifully written love story. I was able to follow along with the book from beginning to end. Although it has alot of twist and turn. The story was very relatable. I felt so sorry for Karmen has endured so much pain thtoughout her life. I pray it doesn't to have it end in that manner. Please say it's not so. I'm not ready for her story to be over. Poor Juelz he has been through so much in his life. Hope it gets better. I can't wait for book 2.

I must say i really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. I feel so bad for Kameran and the life she was dealt. As soon as she finds love her lying, trifling roommate snatched it away and she has no idea. I like Juelz and Pilar but i’m not sure if i like them together. i feel like they both have to get over their pasts in order for their relationship to flourish. the ending just messed both of them up and instead of blaming each other they need to be holding each other.

Terrible writing
This was not a good book at all. The story was non existent. It was crazy all over the place. Not one part made any sense. It was confusing from beginning to end. I only kept reading because I knew it would get better...never happened. So disappointed, can't recommend this book. Don't buy it.

Great read
This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions .I could see myself and what I been through.I know the hurt the pain but I know the Good I serve is amazing. I can't wait for part 2 .Amazing job as always

Excellent
This book was emotional from beginning to end drama Intense story was well written and story from couples lives enjoyed the awareness and story of depression how it start when the author awesome writing help with intense there was suspense looking forward for part two
