Satan's Sinners MC #4

Returning Home

Rate this book
Chatty
At 25 years old I never thought I'd have to bury my husband.
But I did.
When I left the club behind I never thought I'd come back.
But here I am.
I've always done what was needed and this is no exception my cousin needs protection so I brought her where I know she will be safe.
The Satan's Sinners Motorcycle Club.
In all the years I've known these guys I've never seen them as anything except family.Until now - three years later.
I never thought I could fall for another man, let alone one of Ripper's brothers.
But I am.
How do I let go of my past to maybe have a future? I can't deny the chemistry between us, but do I really want to risk heartbreak again?

Gunner
I watched her for years knowing I couldn't have her. It didn't matter to me that she was my brother's wife, I still wanted her. I never overstepped my boundaries or let it be known how I felt about her.
Until now - three years later.
We've both returned home. The lust is undeniable.
But...
My club needs me once again and since I'm the Vice President how could I not do what is needed of me?
How can I put claim on what I want if I'm not even around? Am I always going to just be in the background to the only woman that could ever break me?

This book is intended for 18+ due to subject matter. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading in order.

This is the fourth book in the Satan's Sinners series and although it is advised it is a standalone, having not read any of the previous books I did get lost with all the character names and not knowing who was who so I wouldn't advise to read as a standalone.

Chatty has returned to the MC her late husband was a part of. She has remained friends with Gunner whilst he was in prison, taking time for the club. Now he is out which coincided with her return, is this fate for them to be together?

Gunner has always held a flame for Chatty, ever since his brother introduced Chatty to the Club. Three years after his death she has returned same time as he is back. After that first night lead to some explosive passion, could this be his chance with Chatty?

I did like this MC world and the vibe it was giving off. However for me I didn't get why the women had nicknames and I kept losing track when their real name then their nickname was used, then as to who belonged to who. As I say this is why I think it would have been better to read as part of the series.

I understood Chatty's guilt and reluctance to get involved with Gunner and her thinking she was betraying her husband but this got a little repetitive after a while so frustrating. However the passion was very hot!

Overall though I think this was an OK read and I know I would have enjoyed it so much more had I been invested in the MC having known all the characters by reading the other books. Three and a half stars.

Romance was great. Felt quite sorry for them both for their conflicted feelings. The part where he saw her late husband was odd but their actual romance was fun and hot.

Characters were all interesting and had nice development.

Gunner and Chatty
A book about healing, living and learning to love again.
Chatty is finally back home to the MC club that she found her first love but having been widowed at 25 has taken it's toll on her emotionally . She realizes that she missed her biker family but needed time away. Gunner has returned home after a brief prison sentence and he just wants to regroup and find himself but what he soon discovers is his brother's widow and his lost love for the woman that he could never have. This is sweet, sexy and very powerful for both of them. Chatty has so much guilt with the feelings that she is having for Gunner and is unsure what the club will think of a possible relationship between them. She decides to pull away and Gunner knows that he needs to fight for them! A great story of love, trust and redemption !

Gunner and Chatty are finally home. Gunner from prison and Chatty from Arizona a After she needed to get her cousin safe.
I felt Chatty's pain when she lost Ripper and I've liked her from the very beginning. She's a bit of a badass, spunk and takes no shit from anyone. Gunner is sweet, kind, caring, and totally Swoon-worthy.
Their story is emotional, action packed, steamy and of course they get their hea.

Another terrific story

I have really enjoyed this series, and this book was no exception. It's full of hilarious moments, heartbreaking one's, and everything in between, but the best part of it all is the unconditional love within this unique family.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

Loved it!

I’m so happy Chat got her second chance at HEA. Her and Gunner are absolutely amazing together. I loved this story of accepting your soulmate - flaws and all. Sad and happy tears abound in this fantastic read.

I liked it!🔥

It took me a while to finish this book and that was because I had to take breaks. The book was good and I liked the characters that are in it except for the bad guys.

4.5 sexy biker stars!! Who doesn't love a bunch of bad ass bikers who are absolutely in love with their women?!?!

This book can be read as a stand alone but is actually the 4th book in the series. I did not read the first 3 books and though it didn't hurt the story I did feel during the first half of the book I was missing little pieces here and there.

🖤This is Chatty and Gunners story...

Chatty~ I lost the love of my life at this clubhouse. So I had to step away for awhile and get my shit together. Now I am back and I am back to keep my little cousin safe. There is no safer place then Satan's Sinners Clubhouse. I haven't been with a man in three years. For some reason, sexy as sin, Gunner thinks it's ok to stir up my feelings...damn if the alcohol didn't help...

Gunner~ I have always wanted her, even before it was ok to. But now that I am out of prison, this angel who kept me going on prison will be mine. Problem is, she hasn't let go of my brother, Ripper. We may not be of the same blood but I loved him as a brother and she loved him with her full heart. How can I make her see that she can move on?!?!

💭My thoughts...

I loved this book!! This is the first book I have read from this author and I was not disappointed at all. I have so many things I want to say. First off I will be going back and reading the other books because I love this club. Like literally I want every single one of those guys!! And I am so curious. Second I can't wait to see what happens with Tink. And I love how his name came about. Funny thing is that my youngest son got the same nickname the same exact way!! Third Chatty broke my heart. But I love a good second chance romance!! And did I mention Gunner is the whole damn package!!!

This book was well written. I think my only issue was with some of the dialogue it could get confusing. Some was in quotations and some like italics and I would have to re read. This book with a few tweaks could def be a 5 star book!!!

Returning Home is book four in the Satan's Sinners MC series. They can be read as standalones. I haven't read the previous books and jumped right into this one. I wasn't lost but you know that feels when we meet a new friend's family and you think your missing something but you're not sure because everyone is new too you, well that's how I felt with some of the side characters. Satan's Sinners MC is like a family and I'm definitely going to go back and check out the previous books.

I enjoyed this one but it didn't hook me right away. I struggled to get to 19% but somewhere between 19% and 36% I got hooked and didn't want to put it down and at 66% I wanted to yell at my kindle.

Both Chatty and Gunner are part of the Satan's Sinners MC family. Both have been away. Gunner was a way and Chatty lost her husband and ended to get away. Both return on the same day. Gunner has always been attracted to Chatty. There is still attraction there. Chatty has a lot to deal with and may not be ready to move on. Chatty is a very believable character. She struggles but that's what make her character seem real. Just when you think Chatty and Gunner have made a breakthrough in their relationship some stuff happens. These two really struggle with things and I was so hoping that they would make it through together.

I'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to tatted up bad boys, so when I picked up this baby, (which is book four in the sinners series, but can be read as a stand alone) I knew it wasn't going to take me long to get lost in the world that is Satans Sinners MC.

For three years Gunner has only seen the four walls of a prison cell.

For three long years Chat has tried to stay away after her husband was shot and killed.

Today is the day they both finally return to Satans Sinners clubhouse. Back to the familiarity that the club has to offer. Back to family.

"As of right now, though, she'll continue to be my darkest desire, the sweeter temptation, and the only one that could ever own me"

Can Gunner keep out of harms way long enough to win his girl?

And can Chat move on after her husbands brutal killing?

Enjoy the highs and lows these two face. The tender moments they share together, each learning to love and trust again.

But will a rival club take everything away from them, just as they are starting out?

Gripping, tender and a must read for gals like me who can't get enough of the bad boys 🏍❤️

A massive 5/5

This is the fourth book in the Satan's Sinners MC series by Colbie Kay. I knew this book would be sad obviously since Chatty is a widow. Chatty (Lindy) never thought she would lose Ripper, her husband when she was only 25 years old. Ripper was a member of the Satan's Sinners MC and after his death there were too many memories so she left and moved back where her family was. It's been three years and she's back at the Satan's Sinners clubhouse because her cousin, Tinsley needs protection. Gunner (Caide Williams) is the Vice President of the Satan's Sinners MC, his father Ryder was the former VP. He has loved Chatty for eight years but never acted on it because Ripper was his "brother". Three years ago when his club was at war with the Italian mafia shit went down and Gunner ended up going to prison for gun charges. He's now fresh out of prison and shocked when he sees Chatty back at his clubhouse looking even more beautiful than ever. I purposely avoided Ever and Writer's book because I knew it would be heartbreaking but this one was pretty bad too. There are a lot of unanswered questions that I'm hoping get resolved in the next book. I'm anxious to read Romeo and Tinsley's book and also poor Tink, who I'm sure is going to be emotional as well.

Gunner has just gotten out of prison after being there for three years. On the same day he comes home, Chatty, has also came home from being gone. (She left shortly after her husband was killed.) She is back because she knows the Satan Sinners will protect her cousin Tinsley.
That same night, Gunner and Chatty have mind blowing sex. Gunner has wanted her from day 1, but she had never looked at him in that light. She just knew she didn't want him to be with someone else. Sadly, she instantly regrets it. Poor Gunner was hoping the regret wouldn't come for her until the next morning. This couple has so many ups and downs, but it was worth it in the end. I don't want to tell you anything more. I will say a few things shocked me.

This is a really good one! You should check it out.

This is book 4 in this series and can be read on its own. HOWEVER, it helps to have read the previous books so you know the backstories of the supporting characters. I started with book 3 and have now read book 4. Will be going back to read the previous books.

P.S. I hope Tink and Tinsley get a book. *Hint, hint, hint*

Returning Home is book 4 in the Satan's Sinners series but each can be read as a standalone.
The past three years Gunner spent behind bars.
The past three years Chatty spent grieving for her husband, hiding from the life she loves to protect her self.
Both return at the same time to the Satan's Sinners at the same time and having been his brothers wife Gunner feels the need to protect her, he also feels the need to claim her as he lusted after her for years but never made a move out of respect for his Brother.
Chatty on the other hand is only back because her cousin needs the protection of the club, she's by no means ready to move on with anyone let alone one of her husbands Brothers, but fate has it's own plans!

Returning Home is a tiny bit sweet & sexy as hell. There's a little romance tossed in with the unbelievable hotness that is Gunner when he goes after what he wants.
The chemistry is off the charts making this a book that will drag you in and keep you glued to the pages until the end!

Oh my gosh I feel like I have been waiting forever for this book. Returning Home is the fourth book in the Satan's Sinners and it felt like a coming home of sorts to me. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. This book basically picks up right off where book three ended.

Gunner and Chatty are finally back home. Gunner from prison and Chatty from where she took off to after her husband Ripper's death. Of course Chatty and Gunner are no strangers to each other and Chatty is the one that kept in touch with him while he was locked up.

I have really like Chatty ever since the first book in this series. I really felt for her when she lost Ripper, you could feel her pain. I'm glade she finally found peace enough to move on and forward without Ripper. And I totally think her Gunner were perfect for each other.

What can I say about Gunner?.... I just loved him to pieces. He was sweet, kind, caring, and totally Swoon-worthy.

I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!

Great read

Another fantastic book in this series, you can't move in these books without meeting a red hot alpha male but underneath all that tough exterior each has a heart of gold and when they fall they fall hard watch out ladies these men are just too hot. This is Chatty and Gunners story and these two really go through some bad times. Chatty's husband Ripper is killed she leaves the club for a while Gunner is arrested and sent to prison both come back at the same time. Gunner has wanted her for a long time and decided to go all out to win her she is resistant at first but quickly gives in. They are attacked and Gunner is shot and ends up in a wheelchair at the same time she finds out she is pregnant they go through some bad times but end up together with a baby girl. There is a lot happening in the back ground with club business and there is never a dull moment. These books are a great read full of hot bikers feisty women and lots of sexy action, you quickly love all the characters and want the best for them. Great stories great series great read.

Awesome storyline - just WOW! The author has written a great book that continues with the Satan’s Sinner MC gang, but can be easily read as a stand-alone. The characters are well defined and very relatable.

This is Gunner and Chatty’s story. As the title says these two are both returning back to the club or home. Gunner has been in prison for 3 years and Chatty left for a little over 3 years to come to terms with Ripper’s (her husband) death. These two have been through hell yet find a type of peace with each other, especially Gunner since he’s lusted after Chatty secretly for years.

I won’t spoil the story by saying more but I will say this book is written in true MC style. It’s not all peaches and cream and it will have you smiling, laughing and at times cringing with worry. But through it all, page after page, you can’t help but feel all the emotions that the author has written into this story. 2 Thumbs Up for this definite must read, you won’t be sorry with this one!

So, this is the first book that I have read by Colbie Kay and now am itching to snatch up all the others to catch up on what I missed to bring us to the point of Returning Home. I fell in love with the characters, the concept and the emotions that flowed through this story. I found myself immersed in the biker world that Kay has created and it is raw, gritty and packed with passion.
I found Chatty an emotional character that has already been cut open raw from the biker world and now she’s tumbling deep into the rabbit hole again with Gunner. There is so many twists that are tossed in that leaves you guessing as to what will happen next and you jaw will literally hit the floor when the big bang actually does happen.
Overall, this story really is a emotional one that will leave you feeling raw. I really enjoyed every moment of it and the concept. Excuse me now while I go hunt down more of Colbie’s books!

4.5 STARS

Ok so let me start with I am a huge fan of bad ass tatted up men and MC books. Colbie Kay is a star when writing these types of stories!!

This is book 4 the final in the Satan's Sinners MC Series and it is so good.

You would think that being a biker you wouldn't have to much to worry about, you be cool all the time and have anyone you want. But really in this story you find out that bikers are just like us they are broken, emotional and in need of love. Gunner has to keep his cool and learn to love after being in priso0n and Chat needs to learn to trust after her husband was brutally killed. These characters together are on fire and they go through so many ups and downs to keep their relationship together.

This author has once again written a story that I was immersed in completely from page one to the end!!! I ook forward to what is coming next!

I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book for Rockstar Book Muse

Chatty returns after being away for three years. Gunner was just released from a three year stint in jail. Gunner admits to always being attracted to Chatty but never making a move because of his brother. I did like how Gunner tried to be respectful to Chatty during her time. I'm sure it's not easy being in love with someone who is so in love with their deceased husband. I also appreciate the author not turning Ripper into a cheating bastard like I've read elsewhere. It's as if the author has to make the deceased have an alternate life just so the living spouse can move on. This book lets Chatty move on from losing her husband who was a good man. How lucky for her to have found two good men that love her. Now don't get me wrong Gunner ticked me off at the hospital but I actually had the feeling of him pushing her away on purpose before he mentioned it. Poor Tink!!!! I need to know what's going on with Sierra. It's driving me crazy but it looks as if Demon will be next.

Returning Home is the fourth book in the Satan Sinners MC series and my favorite of them all.
Chatty lost her husband so she leaves and Gunner goes to jail (all in previous books- highly recommend you start with the first book). Returning home is Chatty and Gunners story and it's great. Hunter has been in love with Chatty for a long time but she was married to his brother. Ripper was killed and now Hunter has his chance. The story was written beautifully and it keeps you pulled in. Colbie definitely knows what and how to write a great book. She hit it with Returning Home. Fantastic and her best to date. Thanks for writing a book for me to get lost in.

This could be read alone but to get the full storyline start with book one in the series-
City Lights. Again you rock Colbie!!!!

Returning Home is book 4 of Satan's Sinners MC series. This is my first book from Colbie Kay and though it took me some time to get into it, I finally did and wow, I was surprised.
Gunner has spent three years behind bars.
Chatty has been grieving the loss of her husband.
Now, both will return to Satan's Sinners on the same day.

There is a need to protect one's family but when its your own brother's wife, things get complicated.
Gunner has loved Chatty for a really long time, will he claim her and protect her?
Chatty's return is only because her cousin needs her back for the protection of the club.
Fate will play a hard trick on these two, one ready to start the future and one not ready to move on.

OMG!!! I wish I could give this book more than five stars, so freaking amazing!!! I loved Chatty and Gunner's story. The characters of the Satan's Sinners MC series just keep getting better and better. Seriously this book had depth, romance, heat, danger, and a second chance at love. Chatty is one of my favorite of the female characters and I was hoping she would come back into the series and have another shot at love. Colbie Kay did not disappoint with this story. Chatty lost her husband Ripper due to violence and club business. She leaves the club and goes home then returns a few years later on the very day that Gunner gets released from prison, things get complicated and heat up after that. Great story and I couldn't stop reading. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

......and just like that you are right back in the middle of the Satan's Sinners MC family!! Returning Home is Book Four and kicks off where Book Three finished. Chatty and Gunner have both been away from this family.....for reasons out of their control.......it seems as though fate has a plan as they both Return Home at the same time.
It's their time and if anybody deserves a second chance at love then it's this couple.........but as we know nothing is ever cut and dried with this family.........outside forces are still determined to rock the foundations of this family and cause as much mayhem as possible.
At times my heart was in my mouth......and I could of thrown my kindle!!!
But I highly recommend you add this book to your TBR!!

It was so nice reading about another member of the Satan Sinners by Colbie. This time around she gave us the story of Gunner and Chatty. Both have been away from the club for a while due to unfortunate circumstances. They both come back to the club and one thing leads to another. Their story is a roller coaster ride, so be prepared for ups and downs in their story. But can they get through the tough hurdle that is ahead of them? Grab this book and find out. If you enjoyed the previous books in the series this one does not disappoint.

Poor Gunner!

Loved the story of Chatty and Gunner. Love this series! Definitely recommended. There is, however, still errors in grammar that are getting through the pre publishing process. Wrong tenses used a lot like using went instead of gone. So annoying. Now this is the huge disappointment, especially for those on a very restricted budget, this is the last in the series that’s on Kindle Unlimited. So if u wanna read further into the series you have to pay out of your food or bills budget! So not happy about that. Please please put them in KU! 😞😢😭

I love Colbie Kay's books and the Satan's Sinners MC Series has been I have enjoyed since the beginning. Returning Home was no different. This book follows Chatty and Gunner on their journey to find love and is all about second chances. Gunner is hands down my favorite man in the series. I wanted to swoon the entire book. I also loved the glimpses given into some of the other characters. I can't wait to see what happens next.

This is the fourth book in the Satan's Sinners MC.

I have read each and every book by Colbie and loved them.
But the story about Gunner and Chatty is a gutt wrenching.
Lip biting. Edge of your seat read.

Gunner returns to the MC club after spending time away in jail.
Chatty finally comes home after the deathy of her husband and Gunners brother.

This story is a great story about Chatty getting a second chance at love.

These two characters worked really well together.
