Crossed Swords
Arabella Prescott's fiancee was murdered by a pirate, so she understandably hates them. Her worst fears come true though when she becomes the plunder of an attack and is kidnapped in place of her father, the governor. Handsome pirate Captain Fredrick Thorne plans to ransom Arabella, but he had not foreseen his intense attraction to her. He's had plenty of women in his past, but he's never wanted anyone more. Her resistance amuses him when it's clear she wants him too. Meanwhile her father sets off on a hunt to save Arabella and capture the most dangerous pirate on the Caribbean. It would bring him great pleasure to see Thorne hang for his crimes.
Sea Hawk's Mistress
While diving off the Florida Keys as part of a research team, Shelley Hanover discovers a silver bangle. When the clasp opens, she finds herself in a very different place--the bed of a sexy pirate, Captain Jason Flint. He proclaims he found her floating in some wreckage, with a slave band around her wrist. He won't listen to her protests that she isn't a sex slave. When a rival pirate kidnaps Shelley, Jason realizes the precious treasure he'd found in the ocean.
This book satisfied my craving for a pirate story, but I think both stories could have been fleshed out a bit more. The women fell into bed way too easily with their respective pirate captors--and then fell in love quicker than expected. The conflicts that made the stories interesting seemed more like afterthoughts and that's they type of erotica I don't like--all sex, no story.

The pirate's are mean in battle but once they get the women aboard their ships the pursuasion begins. The seduction and teasing begins and the women eventually let their feelings go and the hot, sweaty, romantic, lustruss sex begins. A great read for a sensual, sexy book.

Skimmed. Didn't really like either story.
