As the Stone Raiders have grown in power they have started to attract the eyes of established powers. Gudalo has become a vipers nest of schemers as the Gudalo Kingdom’s situation turns dire.
They might have fled the Selhi Capitol, but as Selhi is learning, one doesn’t simply get away with acting out against the Stone Raiders.
Dave and Party Zero continue to grow in power, finally free from the battles helping the Aleph, Demons and Beast Kin they are now free to work on their own skills and their new guild hall.
As the Stone Raider’s Return, their choices and actions will either lead then to become the most powerful guild Emerilia has seen, or be wiped out by those that oppose them.
Michael Chatfield is a Canadian Army veteran and international bestselling author who writes the kind of books he always wanted to read—character-driven, gritty, tactical, and grounded in reality.
He doesn’t write one-dimensional killers wrapped in plot armor, charging toward an objective without thought. His stories are built for readers who want earned progression, tight, understandable logic, and realistic strategy. Every stat system has structure. Every decision is deliberate (except when there is Jaeger involved).
And the pacing? It's locked at two hundred percent. From alleyway brawls to starship armadas clashing over galactic sovereignty, from tactical dungeon assaults to city-states warring over a continent’s fate—Chatfield commits to every battle like it’s his last.
With millions of books and audiobooks sold, and tens of thousands of reviews his work spans LitRPG, military sci-fi, fantasy, and post-apocalyptic survival. He writes for readers who value systems that make sense, loyalty that lasts, and power that’s earned, not handed out.
Whether you're listening on a long drive, grinding through a shift, or up past midnight planning the next in-game raid—this is where you’ll find sagas to binge. Where strength is earned, logic rules, and camaraderie is forged in fire.

The book I've just finished by taking my time... and I don't regret the intricacy in this one are building up for action in the next book. Gods schemes, power hungry POEs want to kick and steal people, oh and a bunch of awesomness is in. Can't wait to read the next one!
Not a whole lot of action in this book but I'm really enjoying reading about Dave leveling up. I wish I could do that in real life. +50 points to movie quote knowledge +30 points to hammering ability 😉 +40 points to beat boxing skills and shit my flight is boarding now...
At this point I feel like I just need to finish the series even though the books have been getting progressively worse. I always feel bad writing a bad review as I know that the authors work hard and they're doing something that I can't do. That said, this series started out very promising, however it has quickly turned into an after school special. The personal relationships between the various couples is immature and feels like they were written by a teenage boy, they're so bad at this point that I've had to skip whole chapters that are devoted to perverted sex scenes - don't get me wrong here, when written correctly these chapters would be fine. Outside of this issue, the books seem to say a lot without going anywhere, whole chapters are dedicated to very boring subjects that don't advance the plot such as when you have to read about magical coding classes and building out of Terra. The only reason that I'm going to finish this series is that I've already come this far, and I'm not paying for the individual books as they're part of kindle unlimited.
We finally get the battle that has been hinted at for the last few books. That was pretty well done. And I'm very curious to see what Dave does after his latest advancement with all his new understanding of teleportation and gravity.
This series is great, every book builds on the previous story but adds more to it. Dave is preparing to survive the upcoming battles on Emerilia, but also is making future preparations for possibly dealing with the Jukal at some point in the future because while he does have enemies on Emerilia, they are merely puppets to the Jukal, which makes them the true enemy.
I don't know what I am going to do. There is only one more book out on audible, but there are 3 books out after that. Should I wait for the audiobooks or just grade them and read?
Emerilia has become so much more than just an audiobook series to me. It has given me joy and wonder, happiness and a genuine feel for the characters. I have grown to like Dave and Steve, Josh and all other Stone Raiders, along with all of party zero. I feel like I know them. Along with that, I feel proud of them. They all started out (except Dave), running about and..well..acting like gamers (i.e. Disrespecting people's space, Dismissing people they perceive as NPCs; and indeed, outright hostile to some.) But along the way, they grew and learned to become friends with what they all now call "PoEs" which stands for "People of Emerilia". The adventures, trials and battles fought throughout the series, is something to behold.
I already have the 7th audiobook and am currently reading[listening?] to it now. I can't recommend this series enough. 5/5 WELL earned.
It is now 3rd or 4th book where we are given atrocious amounts of detail about building and developing skills and spells. Don't get me wrong, I like to know how things improve, but hundreds of pages about what is basically the same process over and over gets quite boring. Once the process was described in previous books any subsequent discoveries could have been mentioned without repeating every single thought involved - details were irrelevant and are forgotten with the turn of the page. The first 50-60% of the book can easily be condensed 5 fold and the story will lose nothing. The last 40% or so were mostly related to fights which made sense in most parts.
Good story, decently written. Pros: Interesting and fun overall storyline. Well developed world and characters. Realistic character interactions, realationships, and motivations. Cons: Main character’s advancement is way too fast and too over the top. Too much time spent on building skills and tech stagnates the story’s advancement a bit. Too many inconsistencies, typos, and sentences that are too ambiguous or even mangled to the point of incomprehension.
Conclusion: This story, and the whole series, has a great potential to be an outstanding read that you don't want to put down. I’m sorry to say that the seeming lack of editing and proofreading puts a major damper on it. But if you can overlook or do not care about the problems with the prose, then this is definitely one to pick up.
Another fun round with party zero. Dave's definitely crossed the OP line. More epic battles, more world building. The series gets more epic. This book is well edited and easy to read. On with my binge. I'm running out. After that back to the several chapters a week on Royal road. If you want to write alongside the author, check out mywriteclub. He can be found there often working on the books.
Loved it, a lot of actions that have iniciated in other books are finally concretizing in this one, finally we see some trail of the feared Juk'al empire, they are taking form in our heads. One of the good points in this series is that everything has been prepared since book one, little bit of information that at the time seemed of no concern have a big impact in the actual developments. I am excited to see where this series is going, and I am diving rigth into the next book soon.
Wars will always be faught, but peace is harder than war. No matter what some people have, they always want more. It comes at the price of lives. The Stone Racers are the peace keepers and everyone is trying to knock them down or deface them, but they are too powerful and hide their abilities from everyone outside their guild. But, when it's time to fight, they do!
The promised return of the Stone Raiders were built with care through the book, and though it's arguably a satisfactory climax, you can't help but wonder if there's something else that the super guild can do. This is, after all, the guild that would shape Emerilia.
I wonder if the dragons will ever show up as the force they seem to be in this series. Chatfield has dropped hints several times, but nothing so far. Of course, the characters are growing in power and the conflicts are getting more complex.
Editing: the ebook has reviewer comments still embedded in the text. Good grief.
Another excellent addition to Emerilia. I like how this book is party zero getting stronger and then an epic battle. I can't wait for more epic battles to come!
I nearly forgot all about this gem, getting caught in all the usual thing a reader like me reads...then I saw a new book was out and read it...let's just state things simply...I didn't regret taking the time to read this book.
Real page turner on this one. Finally all the action and events that have been building locally come out. Larger troubles are stirring and the balance to prepare while
Loved every minute of it. I like how the story is progressing and the plots are getting thicker and how the characters are evolving. I can't get enough of this series. Love the budding romance between the characters.
Rarely do I come across authors that have such a grasp of combining so many diverse topics into a series as this author can do... hooks you from start to finish, wishing there were more hours in the day!
Each book spent more and more time world building and on characters leveling up. Of course all the leveling was done with everything but actual combat. Hundreds of pages of boredom. Have no idea how this is so highly rated unless people just enjoy the slow accumulation of stat points.
I love this series. The writing is so good and the story is so much fun. What a cool blend of litrpg, gamelit, fantasy, and scifi. I wholeheartedly recommend this series.
