This book is really good at explaining metaphors and what they can mean in dreams, which makes me really happy because i look at things very literally, so now i can look at it from a different point of view?

The BEST book on dream interpretation I have come across.

In depth entries that help to trigger analysis of your dreams for yourself. Each symbol in your dream is specific to you.

Be sure to read the back of the book for a system to follow for interpretation. It helps tremendously.

I originally got it from the library, but it’s so good I’ll be adding it to my personal library for continual reference.

Hi folks,

I am a true believer that our dreams all of not most have some for of validity in our waking lives. Now I have only used this book a few times, since I purchased it in July, but today I tested and it failed. I purchased this book because it appeared to have a wide variety of dreams and their messages, but I noticed the book tells you to look for “nurse” in a few sections. While the word “nurse” is in a few sections there really isn’t anything written on the topic. I hope to find this is the only section that missed the editing stage.

Purchased to use as needed and it has very interesting points or views/ theories of particular dreams. The reader should keep in mind that the definitions are not always going to be 100% on point.

I picked up multiple dream interpretation books and this one was my favorite. It has great summaries and thoughts about our dreams. It was easy to look things up. I liked it.

I liked it I’m big on dreams and the message they can try to tell you so reading on symbols and signs of dreams I’ve had before and learning what the could possibly mean is mind blowing

***Update-Second reading***

I tried reading this again but this time was even more disappointing than the first. As I said in my previous review, I didn't find this book helpful or enjoyable at all. It did nothing to help me interpret my dreams and I did consider reading the whole thing but honestly it felt like a chore. I'm not really into dream interpretation and I think this book would appeal to those who are. However, I am not in that category.

A friend of mine sent me this book and although it was interesting, it didn't really help me with my dreams. I wasn't really expecting to find any answers but whenever I had a dream I would look up the elements and I was always left kind of disappointed. I'm not really into the dream interpretation thing so I didn't read this cover to cover. I might at some point, but I doubt it. It was kind of disheartening in a way b/c if I had a dream about my husband who passed away and looked up the appropriate word, it would say that dreaming about someone who has passed away means you miss them. I had this book for a while and it took me several months before I even opened it and even longer to finish it. I wonder if there's a reason for that.

You get invited to explore a particular symbol using your own experiences;
Some symbols are described at length. For example Shadow is described on three pages;
You can't help but feel a lot of admiration for Jason who has so much knowledge about dreams and its symbolism.

A dream dictionary is a dream dictionary. Nothing compares to hiring the expertise of a dream expert, like Jason or Susanne van Doorn. A dream expert can provide depth to the meaning of your dream you have not experienced before because he/she can tune into certain memories with the view of an objective observant.

Interested absolutely
