Jason Schrader is the Sargent of Arms for Twisted Mayhem MC and a total ladies man. Up until very recently things in the club were running smoothly but now Maxwell Teague is after Twisted Mayhem after one of their members did some side deals and screwed everyone in the process.
Cheyenne West has grown up in Twisted MC but when her husband, Troy, turned out to be a rat within their organization Cheyenne is struggling. She doesn't know what to do when her longtime crush, Schrader begins to pay attention to her but Cheyenne knows it can't happen.
As Schrader and Cheyenne struggle to deal with their feelings for one another and a budding relationship they must also deal with the club being at war. Can Cheyenne get over her past mistakes in love to give Schrader a fair chance? Will Cheyenne be able to escape the revenge that others want on her for Troy's mistakes?
I loved Schrader in the first book and was super excited that he was the next one getting a book. He is cocky, loyal and so much fun to read about! He is an alpha male in every sense of the word and I love how hard he convinces Cheyenne to give him a chance at showing that he cares about her.
This book also has a great story line with trying to figure out why Maxwell Teague is after Twisted Mayhem and how everyone else's alliances come into play. The story doesn't let you go and you need to follow it all the way through as there's no saying what is going to happen next.

She did it a-freaking-gain! From page one...and oh how amazing page one was...to the very last page I'm on edge and just inhaling every single word. This book is a steamy, sassy, nail-biting adventure. I'm so invested in every single character that even when they quarrel amongst themselves I'm like...stop! Y'all love each other...don't make me traumatized! I've loved Shy from her first feisty comment in Retaliation and Schrader...he can charm the panties off any lady. Shy didn't stand a chance. Schrader has a sense of humor under even the most stressful situations. He is probably my favorite member of the Twisted Mayhem MC. I hate to pick just one. Don't worry Stone, Colt, Jinks and Doc. I still love you!
I was so scared once the secrets came out that poor Shy would be held accountable. That’s why I couldn’t stop reading! I had to know all my people were going to be okay. And the ending! How??? What??? Why??? **Screams and sobs in my pillow**

So book 2 in the Twisted Mayhem MC series is another 5 star review but deserves so many more. What I love most about this book is even though we see the same characters and this one focuses on a different couple. It is totally different from Retaliation and I love that, sometimes in these MC book's it can get repetitive but not in this series so far. It still has its rough,tough,rowdy, and crude bikers that we love. And the mess that they can indeed get their selves into sometimes. But when they find that special woman all over with. But what happens when that woman has been under your nose almost your entire life. In this story you will see Schrader and Cheyenne come to terms with a lot of different things. Schrader is the cut up we all love but when it comes down to protecting his club or his woman he's all business. Cheyenne is living with the guilt of having been with the traitor of the club. She has no reason to but it doesn't erase it. But Troy's betrayal is still bringing trouble to the club. So get ready for some mystery on figuring out what he has done and who all is involved. With some heartstopping moments that will have you on the edge of your seat and feeling like you ran a marathon!! And wanting to find Cat and string her up. Lol I wanted to.
There is just as many surprises in this book and the ending oh lort that ending will have you flipping out!! I love this series so far and can't wait for more!! Retaliation and Instigation are both on my list of top reads of 2017!! And one of the best MC series I've read, Cat brings such a different twist to it. Cat Mason. If you aren't familiar with her name, you need to be. Retaliation blew every MC book out of the water for me, but Instigation was that book that you need a few days to digest. You need not pick up a book for a few days-because they'll be incomparable to the amazingnes that is the second Twisted Mayhem novel.
Cheyanne Jinks is stuck in a purgatory of her own, between mourning her old life and digesting the fact that her late husband tied her up and kidnapped her friend, and tried to sell out the club. She needs to find solace-and isn't expecting to find it with the clubs very own Jason Schrader. Schrader is magnetized by their chemistry, but with the club still tying up loose ends from Troy's betrayal, their chemistry quickly turns to so much more.
I'm a big SOA fan, and Cat's imagination is right up there with the writer of that show. The plot keeps you on the edge of your seat at each turn of the page, the interaction between the characters is so real, and the love scenes-I think my kindle burst into flames they were so hot. Cheyenne is everything and more you want in a heroine-she's tough as nails, smart as a whip, and ready to defend her family in a heartbeat. Schrader-oh god. He truly has so many one liners throughout this book I'm completely in awe. I can't stress enough how real these two characters seem-as well as every other person included in the Twisted Mayhem club.

Jason aka Schrader is the playboy. He's the fun loving, sexy, alpha that all the ladies love. He's loyal to his MC family, and loves to get his hands dirty in and out of the bedroom.
Shy is dealing with the death and betrayal of her husband, to not only herself but also the MC. Book 1 must be read first as there's a lot of backstory covered in this book, but between the guilt, the pity, the shame, and the big secret reveal. shy is at her Max. She's had enough, and is worried she's responsible for her husbands actions.
Jason is put in charge of shy, and is determined to make her smile again. One passion filled kiss is enough to ignite these two into a steamy frenzy I didn't want to end. This book is a roller coaster ride of love, lies, betrayal and more steam than I knew what to do with.
I really enjoyed instigation, and I can't wait to read more in this series!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this series and this book! I didn't think it was possible because I loved book 1 but Instigation was even better!
Of course it helps because these characters are AMAZING! In book 1 we get to meet everyone and in book two we get a more in depth look at a few of the other characters. While the story line flows together from book 1 there is some new drama popping up so you will definitely not be board reading. I was hooked from the start and every time I thought I knew what was going to happen I realized there was so much more than I even expected.
Make sure you read book 1 first so that you are up to speed on what has been happening with the Twisted Mayhem crew but trust me, this book will not disappoint.

Action, redemption & retribution are on the horizon. When you finally open your eyes and see what has always been right in front of you it's a glorious revelation.
Schrader will steam you right out of your seat! You will love Cheyenne with her wicked mouth and take-no-crap attitude.
No one brings bad into Twisted Mayhem's town. The men are about to take out the trash! A great, action packed read!

In this second book of the Twisted Mayhem MC series, we focus on Schrader. We find him with Rachelle. Who is Teague and what has he done? What phone call is made to Schrader while he is with Rachelle? We also get to see more about Shy in this book. What happened with Troy and Ivy is brought back up from the first book. Who is Connor and why have Schrader, Doc and a couple of others hunted him down? What did he do? Why? I love the play of words between Shy and her brother Jinks (Dakota). You can tell they love one another, even with the odd words and snarky remarks they make to one another. When a fed shows up at the clubhouse, he mentions a name, Antonio Lorzano. Who is that? What does he have to do with Shy's former husband? When Shy and Schrader make a delivery of food to the school for a fundraiser, what happens with another parent in the drop off zone? Oh my, watching Shy do her thing made me wish I were a man! Shy battling against what she knows to be true is fun to watch. Watching what the boys did to Jace was interesting. Shy is a pistol! Wow! This book gets more and more intense as it goes on. You're going to have to read it to see what I'm talking about. So much fun with the men and women of Mayhem! I think I like the new Acting Chief. I really do not like Teague. After everything that happens, there are some really good moments at the end of the book, but then we're left with the biggest cliff hanger that I have ever seen! You're going to have to read to find out what happens!

I thought the second book in the Twisted Mayhem MC Series was extremely enjoyable to read. It certainly had me hooked from start to finish and I loved the two lead characters in this story. Sergeant at Arms Jason Schrader and daughter of one of the founding members Cheyenne West. Who is still coming to terms with the secret life her husband and former MC member Troy led. And I really loved Cheyenne. Who was such a kick ass, fiesty, take no prisoners female lead and Schrader who is laid back but also kick ass. Which was absolutely perfect for her and I loved the relationship that developed between them. Which was full of sparks and hot moments too.
As for the actual story, it had plenty of action and a little suspense. And I especially loved the final showdown between the MC and Teague. I also loved the many secondary characters in this story. Including Cheyennes dad Doc and brother Jinx who both made me laugh. As well as Colt. Who has me intrigued and I can't wait to read his story. Which by the ending I'm assuming is next and am really looking forward to it. As for Instigation I would happily recommend it to others. Especially if you are a fan of a great MC Romance or this fabulous author.

Schrader and Shy's story is swoonage
I absolutely loved this book. Schrader is such a ladies man. Shy is a strong independent woman. I think that's exactly what Schrader needs. She loved her ex husband but he was a lying cheating pos. That deserves what he got. Which you read about in the first book. She has always had a thing for Schrader but never followed through. Until one day.....it's always nice to read about a side of a character that you wouldn't expect. Schrader is total swoonage. And it's like as soon as he realized he wants Shy nothing will stop him. He is stuck on her from that point on. This book has action, love and some teary eyed parts. You go more into what her ex did even more which puts Shy in danger. And then a little secret comes out that Shy is nervous about everybody finding out. And I absolutely can't wait to see how the story continues with Henely and Colt. I have a feeling it's gonna be hawt...I have no idea how Cat gets the ideas for these characters but keep them coming.

I was so excited when I was able to get my hands on this book. This is Cat's second MC book and she did not disappoint with this book! I loved Schrader from the first book. Cheyenne has grown up in the MC life but was left heart broken by her husband. What both Schrader and Cheyenne learn is that love can come when you least expect it. Cheyenne wants nothing more than to forget about her late husband that not only did her wrog the the club as well. Schrader can read Cheyenne better than anyone else and knows she is not fine. Schrader is willing to take a chance on Cheyenne but is she ready?
Cat Mason can take your world and turn it upside down and just when you think everything is good, BAM, she does it again. I wish I could reread this book just for the feels. As someone who loves MC books I will tell you this is one you need to read. You do not need to read the first book but I recommend that you do. If you love MC books this is definitely!

Instigation is book 2 in the Twisted Mayhem MC series by Cat Mason and omg I loved it.
I absolutely love when I find a new MC series, and love it even more when I can't put the book down.
Jason Schrader is the Sargent of Arms for the Twisted Mayhem MC and life is good, he loves the ladies and boy do the ladies love him.
Love Schrader! He's hot, protective and what a smart ass! 3 of my favorite things in a man.
Cheyenne grew up in the Twisted Mayhem way of life, it's the only life she's ever known. After the betrayal of her husband, she's struggling with her feelings for her one time crush.
Love this couple and loved their story. My heart broke for Cheyenne and prayed she would give Schrader the chance to prove just how a real man could treat his woman.
I fell in love with Schrader in the first book and fell harder for his smart ass in book two and I know you will too.
If you love a good MC book like I do then this is definitely a one click!

So so good!
I loved the first book in this series, but I loved Instigation even more! I can't say enough about Shrader and Cheyenne. Shrader and Shy baby (as he calls her) have known each other all their lives. Shy has always had a crush on Shrader that she kept buried deep. After things happened in the first book, all the sudden Shrader is their to pick up the pieces. Shrader was a dirty talking Alpha, but he has a heart of gold and you could feel the love he has for Cheyenne.
I loved the first book in this series, but I loved Instigation even more! I can't say enough about Shrader and Cheyenne. Shrader and Shy baby (as he calls her) have known each other all their lives. Shy has always had a crush on Shrader that she kept buried deep. After things happened in the first book, all the sudden Shrader is their to pick up the pieces. Shrader was a dirty talking Alpha, but he has a heart of gold and you could feel the love he has for Cheyenne.

Loved it
Schrader and Shy made an awesome couple and an even better team. I loved Shy...she is such a strong woman and loves hard. Schrader knows what he wants and doesn't stop until he gets it. And once he does he protects and loves even harder. This club is family and it shows in everything they do. Can't wait until the next book!

Awesome
This book was another awesome book by Cat Mason. She keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way until the very last word of the book. It gives you an in-depth look into how the relationship between Shy and Schrader became really close and how he helped her heal and become whole again. Their love story is both romantic and volatile at the same time. It is great.

One tough cookie
It doesn't matter who instigate what but both Shy and Shrader finish it. Shy was raised in the MC, she knows how it works. She has the inner strength and wisdom that helps her survive. Even in doubt, she finds her way through her guilt and realizes she knew all along how things would go.

Awesome book!!
Cat Mason is becoming one of my favorite MC authors.
Loved it!! The banter between the MC brothers was hilarious. And Schrader..love him!!
Loved the friends to lovers story between Shy and Schrader.
Can't wait for more of this series. I'll be waiting anxiously.

Oh how you will get sucked in and not stop reading because you need to know! Another well written book by this author. An MC book that is unique in own way. Highly recommended and looking forward to more in this series of books!

It was a wonderful read. It has strong likeable characters with a great story line that will keep you reading. It is well worth the read. This is a great series to read if you like MC books. Rated very good

Freaking amazing
Schrader is a man that knows what he wants and doesn’t stop till he has it. Shy is a complicated compassionate woman. She has a lot of baggage. They make for one incredible loving loyal couple.

I love cat masons writing style so much, and honestly, shrader is probably my favorite book bf (stone a close second ofc) him and shys dynamic was so funny and they were definitely perfect for each other, can't wait to read the next one!!!

Another freaking fantastic story!!! This was just as incredible as the first book. I loved Shy and everything about her. Schrader is hilarious and I loved his passion for Shy. It was still filled with twists and turns, some solved problems but then more problems pop up and I'm in need of more!!

This book was just as amazing as Book one, I just couldn’t put it down and I enjoyed every minute of it. I love that this book focuses on a different couple but all the same characters are still around just a different point of view. There were again so many twists and turns that you truly don’t see coming. 5 star read for sure and I highly recommend this book.
Can’t wait to read the next book!!!
