Definitely a unique piece of artwork. I don’t have a lot to say about this otherwise, but I liked this a lot. I’m guessing the plan is to release one of these every year, based on the name.

Lost the two page review I wrote due to a Good Reads glitch. Will not rewrite.

Some really great stuff here. Last few pages about Century Hero Comics was above and beyond one of the coolest things I've read. So much intrigue and passion...and believable! Not to mention the six-page "found" story thrown in at the end. Classic, indeed.
Casey's last essay echoed that of the one mid-issue (er, annual) which got me thinking when I read it about the "mythology" of my writing practice.
Hence, I'm up typing this at 230am.

A collection of stories from Joe Casey and some other Caseys

A bunch of stories written by Joe Casey and some other Caseys, some of which are very good, some not so. There's something for everybody in here and it's reasonably entertaining. Artwork varies and I particularly enjoyed the not-so-serious stuff, taking the mick out of 50s comics.
