KP Authors Cook Their Books

Librarian note: alternate-cover edition of B0175UM12W.

What happens when you get a bunch of authors together and the subject turns to food? They decide to write a cookbook, of course. After a few too many Facebook posts featuring pictures of sumptuous dishes our authors prepared, we decided that we needed to band together and share the food love.

Ever read a book that mentions a dish and wonder what it would taste like? The recipes in this cookbook all come from something we Kindle Press published authors have written about. Whether you’re in the mood for some cocktails, want to try a new main dish or just need to satisfy your sweet tooth, you will find all of the above right here. Seriously, nothing goes better with a book than a nice cold glass of iced tea or a piece of cake.

Our authors write everything from mystery to sci-fi, romance, literary fiction, paranormal, and the list goes on. We hope you enjoy this book which combines two of life’s greatest pleasures; reading and food.

This is a collection of 31 Kindle Press published authors who have come together to share the recipes from their stories.
Not only is it filled with recipes but it also features a blurb about the book, an excerpt and links to check out the book for further reading. Not only have I discovered 31 new authors but some pretty awesome sounding recipes to try as well - win win situation.

Interesting concept.

I appreciate d the snippets from each story as it gave me a chance to know whether it was something I would read of not. Most of them were not what I read but a few looked interesting. And some of those recipes looked interesting. I won't be trying them though as I am no cook.

This is a fun collection of recipes from a group of authors, including me! So I won't rate it here on Goodreads, just wanted to let you know it was out there. My all-time favorite Gingerbread man recipe is inside, and this book is FREE

This was such a fun book to read. Not only do you get a peek into books from a variety of other authors, you also get a bunch of recipes to go along with it. Now I have a bunch of new recipes that I want to try, along with a ton of other books that I just added to my TBR list.

This was a fun overview of a bunch of Kindle Press authors. Along with sharing their stories (some of which I own), there are a number of recipes that may be/are connected/suggested by their books.

Stuffed zucchini pancakes? Waffles with bacon already cooked in? A true, historically accurate southern butter cake, known as a pound cake in some circles? Oh, and a mixed drink called Absolutely Fabulous. I'm in!

As a commercially trained chef in a previous life in the 1970s, as well as owning a massive cookbook collection, I thank these authors for their generosity in sharing recipes and summarizing their latest work. Both will whet the appetite for a peek inside. Bon Appetit!

Lovely idea, having recipes chosen by authors that relate to their books. Lots of sweets, though.
