I read this living book with my grade 4 and 2 students for Canadian geography. I highly recommend it to Canadian Charlotte Mason homeschoolers (and everyone else!).

This was a great story about one of the greatest explorers and map makers of the North American continent. When are we going to get a big screen movie about this incredible man?

Another classic Kerry Wood history book, obviously written in the 1960s, and yet with so much to contribute to today.
