SIZZLING HOT !!!

I fell in love with Zane AND Flora!!! Flora is a headstrong young lady who knows what she wants and will not settle for less. Her father tries to arrange a marriage for her but she defies him and runs away to hide until he is convinced to let her choose her own husband. Her father suddenly appears at her hiding place to take her back home, but she escapes him just in time. While running away again, through a typical London rainstorm, she literally runs into the brick wall that is Zane and finds herself hitting the hard ground head first. For awhile, Flora can't remember who she is or why she is in a strange bed being looked after by strangers. When her memory does return, she lies to her rescuers and still fakes amnesia so that she can remain hidden a little longer. When Zane carried the beautiful young woman into his home and sent for the Doctor, he had no idea who she was, where she had come from, nor who she was running from. He was determined to find out and suspected she was lying about her memory having returned. When Flora tries to sneak out after having been ordered to stay in her room, she is accosted in front of Zane's home. Her scream alerted him and he finds her in the street and takes her to his secret room for the spanking she so richly deserves. I believe we all have a little bit of Flora in us. This book is Maggie Carpenter's Best yet. It's full of intrigue, suspense, romance, steamy sex and characters you will love and hate. What more could one ask for? Entertainment abounds and it's a book you won't want to put down until the end. My personal rating is one hundred stars!!!

This is a beautiful love story with well developed characters
all who add to the richness of this book.I found it a easy book
to read ,the author is a great storyteller.This story has it all,
romance,mystery,danger and a happy ending.Twenty year
old Lady Flora Braithwaite is a strong minded young lady.
She is determined to marry for love and not some stuffy
German prince much older then herself.Flora's solutions
was to run away and hide at a friends house but she hurt
and knocked unconscious.Zane De'Ville is a French aristocrat
with a dubious reputation .Who is the beautiful young women
he saves and cares for.Flora wakes with no memory of who she is,
she is attracted to Zane and finds him intriguing.Zane is a man with
unusual sexual appetite and will not be tied down to one woman.
I liked how the author kept it simple allowing the characters tell
their own stories.Did Flora find love in the most unlikeliest of
places.

I will start off by saying that I don't read historical reads but this one was great. The characters were intriguing, strong and had great chemistry. Zane and Flora meet under strange circumstances but spend enough time with each other to know they have strong feelings for each other. Even though with was an erotica read Ms. Carpenter did a great job of keeping with the beliefs of the time period. Flora knew she wanted to marry for love and nothing was going to get in the way of that. There was plenty of angst with this story with the mystery man who was out to hurt Zane and Flora.

A great read with erotic, romantic and an era of mystery.

Flora is a sassy, impulsive, and intelligent young woman who acts recklessly at times. Zane has the remedy for her rash actions and his hand and other implements are just itching to be applied! He insists that no one ever lie and she is bold enough to argue with evidence.

Maggie has written this regency romance in a very realistic manner in regards to speech, behavior, and daily life of the upper class. Zane is an aristocrat, but a businessman and Dom as well. Flora is refreshingly outspoken and adventurous which he finds endearing and irresistible. Lots of spice, a little danger, and a happy ending!.

They met by accident, but fate may have played a part. Flora strong willed, independent for the times ran away from home to show her father that she would not marry the man he chose for her in the process, she ran directly into Zane falling hitting her head. She lost her memory temporarily, but their connection was immediate. Ms. Carpenter has a way with words to make you feel like tou are transported watching the story as a play before you which can be very erotic with this story. She added more than the romance to hold our interest with some mystery and intrigue. Who knew a regency romance would be so outstanding in excellence and spellbinding to the very end.

'Master Zane: The Rogue Aristocrat" is the third book in Maggie Carpenter's "Alpha Male Master" series. I've read enough of Ms. Carpenter's works to know, in advance, she will bring the sizzle, passion, and domestic discipline to her storyline but this one even delivered a banter and air that produced a few giggles, hearty laughs, and fluttery anticipation. Between Flora Braithwaite and Zane De'Ville's strong personalities, him being a DOM and her being a little, and the bit of danger and suspense surrounding the two of them, this is a one-click must-read for sure.

His man turns out to be a French aristocrat playboy named Zane. He possessed two qualities: 1 – He could not tell a lie and 2 – He is a dominate and has dark desires. I liked the adventure found within this book. The characters easily endeared themselves to the reader. The rogue with his lady love who is a "rogue" herself made sparks fly from the kindle their chemistry was so hot! This author is very good at writing a really good romance, but also weaving intrigue, suspense, mystery and action into the story. The story has many levels and twists and turns which always makes for a good read.

This is a very well written book. Exciting, suspenseful, fun, hot and so much more. She runs away from home to avoid an arranged marriage. Her father finds her and she runs again. she falls and hits her head in a storm. He finds her and takes her home to get a doctor and have people take care of her. These two are so fit for each other. She is feisty and out spoken and he is alpha male. I enjoyed reading it very much. I highly recommend it. I received an ARC copy of the book.

Master Zane the Rogue Aristocrat is another wonderful story from the pen of Maggie Carpenter.

Flora and Zane do have great chemistry. Flora is an intelligent, loveable, and perceptive woman who knows exactly what she wants. She is not afraid to challenge Zane and tell him what's on her mind and I liked that very much.

And Master Zane? He's simply swoonworthy. I think This quote sums it up:
"I want to own you," he whispered. "I want to lick every inch of you, I want to tie you to my bed and have you at my mercy, I want to show you what it's like to have your body controlled by me, teased and tormented, your skin pinched and slapped, then pleasured with my soft caress. I want to teach you how to please me, how to worship me, how to serve me. I want to be your Master."

If you like reading stories with a bit of everything like intrigue, danger, Victorian romance and a good dose of smexy time and spanking you can't go wrong with this book.

Loved it! Zane and Flora are soulmates in this charming but naughty romance. Loved the characters, loved the story. It's steamy and sweet with some light spanking and dominance. Another great, sexy read by Maggie Carpenter.

This tale will begin in France and then continue in England. Zane De’Ville is a man with a reputation for being the Rogue Aristocrat, an infamous womanizer. He is upfront with the ladies he entertains, and when rules are broken, they will part company. He is a man that enjoys dominance and control and teaching the ladies in his life about passion.

“Zane De’Ville had two qualities that were tarnishing his shining halo. The first; he would not, perhaps could not, tell a lie. The second; he possessed a decadent sexual appetite. He’d always knew his desires were dark and different, and he’d accepted his fate at an early age, but to his surprise he discovered many women adored his authority and perverse pleasures.”

The plot will have Lady Flora running from her father into Zane and being knocked out. He will take her into his house, and when she comes to, she is confused, does not know who she is, and is now under his protection. When it comes to light that she remembers, the interest between Zane and Flora has begun. Zane believes he is man who cannot commit to one lady, but Flora may be more than he ever bargained for. Flora wants Zane and is willing to prove to him that she can be all he ever will need or what. “I will do anything to have you. I will not rest until we are together.”

The story will have mystery, suspense, danger, honesty, passion, and proof that love can conquer all; that it is worth waiting for, and in the end, two people will find their happily ever after ending. While this story does have spanking, BDSM, and sex scenes, but it is more a story of passion, discovery, and beginnings. Just never say never, because it will make you a liar.
