He Ain't No Good & She Ain't No Better
The saying, keep your friends close but your enemies closer, comes to mind when you're in Alicia's situation. Her marriage and faith is being tested when she finds out that the two people that she is supposed to be able to trust with her life are keeping secrets. Her husband Chance, and her best friend Porsha have been spending time together while she's at home trying to figure out where things went wrong. This book was so bad... soooo bad. I can't explain to you how bad it was.
I only read this for a reading challenge. I feel like my brains have been torched and I give up on everything. That's how bad this was.
These characters make me want to take the gun they kept shooting everyone with, and shoot them all to end the readers misery.
Are main girl Alicia? she was way to big of a pushover, forgiving her man for stepping out on her with . She just lets it all go. AND THAN she goes and falls in love with some dude after knowing him for a few hours, bitch what?
Than you got the little side hoe. I woulda whooped her ass nice and good. She was a little nasty hoe. She gave them all Whos kid was that even anyways? Little hoe.
The husband Chance. He deserved everything he got.
Trying to tell his wife what to do after he stepped out, like he had any say. Shoulda kept your little thing in your pants. Messin with crazy bitches.

Then after you get past the horrible cast of characters, which could have been interesting if well fleshed out & well written, you get to the plot of the story.

The crazy stuff that happened in this book, if written well, could have been really good. But it was just one thing after another of random crap. Someone's getting shot, someone's getting pregnant, then someones kids in the hospital, than someone's backstabbing someone else, and hey that persons actually doing this, and this persons actually doing that. Wow! I'm at a loss for words!! What kind of shitznieee is Porsha on?? From the moment I started reading this I really wanted to beat the he'll out of Porsha. Jeremy had me fooled!! I still don't understand his motives. I get the parents part but it's something a little more deeper. I can't wait for Alicia to put them hands on Porsha.. The diseases, lies, Lort it's just too much!!!

Fast paced read. This story had a lot going on. The characters lived up to the title. It seems most of them needed medical attention. Porsha, Chance & Jeremy were just downright dirty. Storyline held my attention for their actions had me wondering what could possibly happen next. I'm hoping revenge is on the list in the next part

Fakes, foolishness, and shocking discoveries
Tiara Barnes really stepped her game up with this book. This story will have you puzzled with twists you'll come in contact with. Alicia is naïve when it comes to loving someone like Jeremy. True enough he came off as this prince but he wasn't nothing but a joker. From the beginning I knew this book was bound to take a turn when I saw what Porsha sneaky behind was all about. That chick did everything in her power to get Chance to fall for her and wife her. She got her wish of gaining his love, but she didn't get the ring from Alicia. Coming between Alicia and Chance was what she accomplished. Omg but the twist Tia gave us with Porsha came at a perfect time. 2 twisted people belong together in this case. Chance did not take is vows seriously. Porsha didn’t take her role as being Alicia bestie serious. I think the only sane person was Alicia mother. Well I can say with Alicia health taking so many turns she's still holding on. You'll see everything from best friends sleeping with the husband, health problems, pregnancies, and shocking discoveries all in this book. Omg faking a death was brilliant because I didn't have a clue that was going to happen. I don't want to give too much away but I loved it....waiting for part 2.

Omg great read
This book started off good. Porshea and Chance already showing their true colors. Poor Alicia. When Porshea went to the doctor, I hollered. Karma is all I can say. Smh Jeremy ain't no good either. Alicia can't catch a break. Omg Porshea and Chance got that can't get right and the gift that keeps on giving. Chance done fell all the way off and Alicia need to slow down with Jeremy. Jeremy is crazy for real. Porshea done finally hit rock bottom but ain't no way I could keep her child. Awwww Chance. After reading, I couldn't me the baby suffer because of my feelings, it ain't his fault. I feel bad for Porshea now. Man I'm not adding any spoilers about the end but all I can say is WTF to the ending....I am so glad I waited for Part 2 to come out because I would've been mad at you lol....on to Part 2

HELL HAS NO FURY, LIKE A WOMAN SCORNED!
I knew this was going to be, a page turner when, I had the first jaw dropping moment. Right into the second chapter. The four main characters Porsha , Jeremy, Alicia and Chance, are a group of people whose life is forever changed. Due too the selfish behaviour of Chance and Porsha whom is having a affair, behind his wife Alicia back. Check out this book, to see what happens when Alicia find out what has been going on. ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. Alicia is a women scorned, and she is on a mission. I already recommended this book because for one, the characters where quite vivid and two the book was a real live juicy read. It's another 5 🌟 read.

Awesome
Al I can say is wow. This book was the bomb. I felt so bad for Alicia. The only thing she wanted so to be loved by her husband and he couldn't do that right. Chance was just an a**hole. He wanted his cake and eat it too. He should have just took care of home. Porsha needed to get her a** whooped for betraying everyone in the book. She was dead wrong for everything. Jeremy was a straight scumbag. He just needed to die putting Alicia and her family through hell. I can't wait for part 2.

OMG!! This was a good read. A real page turner. I could not see how one could go thru some much! Alicia was a good friend, wife and mother who had her own thing going on. she did not want to burden or worry her husband. Look how he repays her by sleeping with her best friend. What is going on with Jeremy, now sure if I missed something. This book had so many plots and twist my head was spinning. I am waiting for book 2.

Disturbing
This book is so disturbing. What is Jeremy's deal? There has to be more to the story that his parental issues. I can't believe that Alicia fell for him so quickly. Big mistake. And Porsha is just a tramp. Sleeping with her best friends husband. Really? I hated Chance at first but then I kinda felt sorry for him at the end. I hope that he can fix the mess that he made. So much drama and craziness.

I loved the drama in this book. Finally a woman that left her man when she caught him cheating. I loved Alicia she had so much going on yet she stayed strong. Porsha and Chance were no good and got exactly what they deserved. Jeremy was a snake in the grass and has major issues and I hope he gets what he deserves. I can't wait for part two.

I can’t wait for part 2. Read this in one day. Alicia is married to Chance and they have two children. Chance was cheating on Alicia with her best friend; Porsha. Porsha becomes pregnant by Chance and things hit the fan. Chance’s half-brother; Jeremy comes and sweeps Alicia off her feet. Porsha and Jeremy takes Chance and Alicia through hell.

This book started off good but quickly went left. I think the author got so many thoughts mixed up and it's obvious she didn't use an outline when writing the storyline. It's sad because it could have been much better. I will not read part two because it will probably be worse. As far as I'm concerned, all of the characters have terminal diseases anyway and they all will die so why bother...

Horrible People
Is it possible for people to be as evil, heartless, and uncaring as Portia and Chance? Then Jeremy? What a nut case! There are so many mentally disturbed people that commit crimes. It is also so disheartening to hear kind and compassionate people be called gullible and be taken advantage of. I am looking forward to seeing how this all plays out in the next book.

I despise a fake snake guttersnipe witch!!! And Porsche is it! Just reading about her took me back to a place where I got made all over again and was ready set it off. This book these characters were just a hot mess! So much back stabbing going on! Porsha and Jeremy no words 😶. And that Husband just brought everything on his self. Whew diseases being past around like it's just a common cold! Can't wait for part 2!!!

Ridiculous!
I don't think I have ever given a book such a low rating but this was just pure craziness. The ONLY thing I liked abt this book was the title. The way the story played out was amateur. It was fast paced but to a point of absurdity.

I came across this book while searching for new urban fiction books to read online. I loved the title and decided to read it. It was a page turner. I read it in 2 days. I cannot wait until part 2 is released. I'll go check out some of her other books until then.
