It started off really good but then it became repetitive and fell flat! I loved the other books in this series but this one wasn’t as good as the other two for me! But I loved the h’s a bit sassy! I always enjoy this type of h! So after 74%, I started skimming. Told in dual POV, 1st person. It’s the third installment in the Luminous series and it can be read as a standalone. Overall, it was an ok read for me and hope you enjoy it!

Bold, sexy, erotic, and sizzling!!! Long For Me by Stacey Lynn is the third installment of the Luminous Series and happens to be my favorite so far. Long For Me had me obsessed and addicted as I practically inhaled this sinful treat!!!

When Bennett smiled, I entirely forgot he was my boss. That smile did stupid, silly girl things to me like make me want to stand up and tangle my fingers in his jet-black hair. Or brush my cheek against his jaw that always held just the smallest hint of stubble. It made me want to nibble on his full bottom lip, wrap my legs around his waist. BDSM romance story-lines can either be a hit or a miss but in the case of this book and series, Stacey Lynn concocted up a romance that was believable, enticing, passionate, and sultry. Long For Me had all the right romantic elements to keep readers engaged and longing for more. The characters were written so raw and vulnerable that readers could understand both the hero and heroine and the sexual nature of the pull and connection that was bonding them.



Rebecca never thought she would walk into a sex club especially one that specializes in BDSM. She always associated domination with abuse that is until she saw first hand, what true BDSM is all about. When she sees her boss, Bennett Ashby performing an act, Rebecca is intrigued. It is there when her boss noticed and challenged Rebecca to let go and submit to him fully.

Long For Me was the perfect sexy summer read. The writing was seductive and sexy as hell. Did I also mention the chemistry between the hero and heroine was off the charts? Yes, it was undeniably explosive. So if you are in the mood for a love story that was burning with passion, intensity, raw emotions and lots of sex then this book is definitely for you.

Yes yes yes! This is how you write a heartstopping romance. Love. Honor. Devotion. Hella hot and steamy with nothing held back. Little drama and BS - yay! Loads of simmering emotions. Sigh.

While Bennett comes off as a jerk in the beginning, he is also a very complex and amazing guy. Super yummy and a book boyfriend that we want for our very own!

BDSM is alive and well in this book but it is not over the top and it enhances their relationship as they walk through getting to know each other and their tumbling hearts. I had to hold on to mine in a few places too!

This is my fourth book by Stacey Lynn and I have loved them all! 3 were 5 stars and 1 was 4 stars. I think I am becoming addicted to her writing and stories! I need more!!! This style of writing is my favorite to read of all!!

Bennett is a wee bit of a jerk at the beginning, but he sure does know how to take care of a girl. Rebecca is unsure of the whips and chains of BDSM due to her upbringing. With a little bit of drama and angst and a whole lot of hot sex they overcome.

I think I may be the anomaly, but this book was a miss for me. The sex was hot, the tension between the couple was palpable and the true caring and concern of a Dom/sub relationship was explored. And yet, for reasons I can’t truly put my fingers on, I felt that I spent more time getting frustrated by the book as it went on than I did falling in love with the characters.

Rebecca’s past makes a BDSM relationship seem like the furthest thing from what she would want. But when she is presented with one night with her domineering and overbearing boss, Bennett Ashby, where he would care for her and see to her every need, she can’t turn it down. And while being a sub is not what she wants, it may be exactly what she needs.

Bennett appears to the be the dream Dom. He cares for his sub and wants her to allow him to coddle her, guide her, and pamper her. He acknowledges the gift that she is giving to him, stressing to Rebecca that the power always lies with her and that she is actually in charge of the relationship. He is as tender and sweet as he is stern and forceful. He plans out his moves and doesn’t leave things to chance. He is considerate and sexy and I should have fallen in love with him. And I probably could have if it wasn’t for Rebecca.

I just wasn’t a fan. I didn’t feel that these two fit together well, and she was so wishy-washy for such an apparently strong woman that I found myself too often confused. From the very start, I couldn’t understand how these two got together. Bennett ignored Rebecca and was rude to her and then suddenly he’s propositioning her without any discussion or concern of a sexual discrimination lawsuit. There was no flirting, no signs of interest, no conversation. All of a sudden they were in this situation that would have been more taboo and effective had these two had at least one civil interaction with one another first. Rebecca stood up for herself at work, she submitted to Bennet in the bedroom, and she enjoyed it. And yet she couldn’t seem to reconcile within herself that this was ok.

Long for Me had all of the elements needed for a great BDSM story. I would say that it is worth a try because it was an easy read, sexy and romantic. But for some reason I just didn’t connect with it.

I love it when an erotic romance just allows itself to be both erotic and a romance.

Was their a story? Yes, there was...but it was character driven and the sex, the romance, and the attraction between Rebecca and Bennett was allowed to be the focus. So many times, an erotic story is exactly that, a lot of eroticism and not much else, but this was a romance...a hot, panty melting, going-to-need-a-new-Kindle-as-mine-just-exploded kind of romance, but a romance.

I liked this. A lot. In so many books, there is an effort to make an erotic romance "more" than an erotic romance. But, really, for one to work you need characters and sex. This had both. And then it took it up a level with characters you really like and some seriously hot sex. You can have both. You don't have to fade to black to keep a story character driven, and you don't have to have only one dimensional characters who get naked.

I enjoy Stacey Lynn's books. When you read one of her titles, you know you are going to get a strongly written story and that there are going to be characters that you relate to...or, if you don't relate to them because there are things you haven't experienced in life, you will be able to see them as real.

This book is a standalone, however I do think you should read the others in the series if you haven't because, well, they are good and there are some small spoilers in this book that tell you things about the other books (although mostly that they have a HEA, so not so much a spoiler).

I definitely recommend this title.

I think this might be my favorite in the Luminous series so far! I really loved Rebecca and Bennett, these two were sizzling. It was sweet and extremely sexy. Fantastic read!

Rebecca and Bennett were liked fire and ice in the beginning. They both had such strong and intense personalities, I loved the animosity that was happening between them. I loved undeniable chemistry and when characters fight what they feel, it makes the build that much better. I loved watching them come together and learning their histories. Rebecca was so skeptical about the BDSM lifestyle and I loved that aspect of the story. I loved her journey and getting to where she was by the end. It really was a true story of exploration since her past was so harsh. I loved Rebecca's sass and when they were playful, it was refreshing. Bennett was something else. He was strong, commanding, sexy, and oh so sweet and patient. I love how Bennett was their for Rebecca and guided her. He had such a presence about him that made me feel really drawn to him.

I love how the story was laid out and the build. Great writing and descriptions. Nice development and pace as well. Everything moved along with a good flow and I loved the dual POVs. It was a solid read, excellent heat factor, low in the drama department, just enough to keep things interesting. There is a nice bit of emotion too. Rebecca fighting her feelings, what she felt and was curious about, I thought was great. Rebecca’s take on BDSM was so different in the beginning, such a different perspective than I'm used to when I jump into a story, it just made it that much more interesting to read.

Super sexy read with a nice amount of emotion and tension mixed in and the prefect amount of sweetness. Loved this!

Bennett and Rebecca were great together. He was a bit too mecurial for my liking though. When he turned on the charm, he was swoony. But he liked pushing her buttons and that wasn't working for me today.

I enjoyed seeing Simon and Chloe again. And I'm going to have to go back and read Miranda and Shawn's story.

If you are looking for a book that will help you understand the difference between a BDSM relationship that is SSC (Safe, Sane, and Consensual) and abuse, this is the read for you. Submitting doesn't mean that you give up control and are weak, Submitting is POWERFUL, the sub is the one that controls everything. If the sub says just one word, the safeword, its all over.

I have been enjoying this series and quite frankly I don't think I have read anything of Stacey Lynn's that I haven't enjoyed, but this story of Bennett and Rebecca's I think has the most impact because of Rebecca's past and how she perceives things. Rebecca comes from an abusive home and when she learns that her friends husband likes to tie her up and flog her all of her alarms go off, well that was until they spoke with her about BDSM and finally convinced her to go with them to Luminous to see what it is all about.

Rebecca is a personal assistant to Bennett a man who likes to take control in the boardroom and as she later discovers his sex life to. After visiting Luminous with her good friends and seeing Bennett in a different light performing she finds herself more intrigued and attracted to the man than ever before and the feeling is mutual as Bennett knows he can give her everything her body craves. Their relationship soon becomes more than just a working one but there's more going on in Rebecca's head than Bennett knows and as a man who likes to take control he's sure put through his paces proving to her they're right for each other.

This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone which is how I read it, but I will be going back to read the previous two.

Fantastic writing with sharp, witty dialogue and a plot which flowed along nicely from page to page, it wasn't all about sex, sex, sex which even then tends to be rushed in books with elements of bdsm. Stacey Lynn has done a brilliant job and I would totally recommend this to readers who love a bit of kink alongside their romance.

I love the Luminous series by Stacey Lynn. Her writing always brings an emotional side of mine upfront. I was ready to start Long For Me and start digging through Rebecca and Bennett's story. Long For Me will give all aspects of BDSM. You can have your hardcore, and then there is the custom part of it that makes it yours. That is what Bennett taught Rebecca. I love the beauty of it with the trust and being loved like no other. The part where the Dom is captivating and shows the Sub how precious they are. Between Bennett and Rebecca it was amazing and pulled at my heart strings.

I loved that all of the characters from previous books show up a time or two. When a book series brings back our favorite previous characters, it makes the story come back in a full circle. I truly enjoyed reading this book. The passion was off the charts and learning how to let go was a big takeaway for me. Rebecca is my favorite kind of gal, and Bennett will stay in my dreams for a long while. What a great story to end the week with.

Whew. This was one steamy and heart fulfilled read. I've been reading The Luminous Series from the start and I've had so much fun with it. If you haven't read this series, don't worry, Long for Me can be read as a standalone.

What I enjoyed about this book was how much of a jerk Bennet always seemed to be to Rebecca when they were at work. He's her boss and he demands just about anything and everything from her. His manors are pretty much out the door as he barks orders at her. But the moment she set foot in Luminous, she opened up the flood gates. This allowed Bennett to really show her who he can be and how he has really always felt for her.

Bennett surely had me wanting to obey and disobey him all at the same time. I loved that he was patient with Rebecca while she discovered who she really is but at the same time, he pushed her to really open up.

Long for Me is steamy, passionate and full of love and respect. Despite if you like the BDSM world or not, everyone should be able to enjoy the beauty of watching two people discover who they are individually and together. I think people are going to fall in love with both Rebecca and Bennett. I certainly did.

5 amazing stars



With each book that Stacey Lynn adds to her Luminous series, the more i itch to get my hands on more of her books. She has a way of creating a new world on a subject that i know well and make it so intriguing that i want to visit the areas that she mentions on top of wanting to keep reading more of her books. Considering this was the second book in this series that i read from her, i enjoyed how i could see her improvement since the first, and also her own personal knowledge in the lifestyle.

4.5 sexy dreams



This was a bit different than her previous books - Rebecca and Bennett have a less than stellar work relationship, the fact that they had such huge chemistry was surprising but encouraging. Rebecca is me - in so many aspects, she's worried and self conscious about things that seem inconsequential, but has the biggest confidence in other things. Bennett is the man we all wish we had to make us forget about all the 'men' from past relationships we've had. For certain i'll be impatiently waiting for Stacey Lynn 's next release from this series (and others) in the future.

I have been a big fan of Stacey Lynn since her Fireside series and even more so after reading Dominate Me and Crave Me in the Luminous series. The novels all have amazing sexy times but so much honesty and heart. That is exactly what we found in Long for Me between Bennett and Rebecca. I found their story to be so sexy, steamy, romantic and very well written as the author addresses the sensitive topics of abuse and domestic violence. I was immediately swept away by their story and was consumed with the intensity of their connection.

At first glance Rebecca thinks her boss, Bennett Ashby, is the worst. He is cold, rude, condescending and dismissive. But after seeing him one night at Luminous and seeing the effects they both have on one another, Rebecca decides to let Bennett have her for one night. But what follows is a heated affair where he not only controls her days at the office, but her nights as well as his submissive.

I loved that this story was so steamy but in addition, there is an intense emotional connection between Rebecca and Bennett that is pretty obvious. What started as lust and his need to have her after being tantalized by her at the office for months develops into a need to teach Rebecca about BDSM and the cherished role as a submissive. Bennett really touched my heart with how he dealt with Rebecca's fear of the BDSM lifestyle and the violent stigma attached to it, despite her deep curiosity and need for it. He was really a gem in this story. He was patient and understanding and pushed her boundaries while calming her fears. He was really the perfect guy for her!

I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

This would be my first read by Stacey Lynn I plan on reading more by her especially the first two books in the Luminous series but don't worry Long for me can be read as a standalone . This is a steamy read that will get you hot and bothered the sex scenes are really intense and well written . I was so happy to see that this is in both point of views because it's always awesome to be in the minds of each of them . At first I didn't know what to think of Bennett based on the way he treated the heroine but once we got into his head we found out why he reacts the way that he does . Rebecca is extremely hard working and puts her all in her work so one night her friend invites her to be a BDSM club and there she is opened to something she didn't realize she needed and that's one smoking hot DOM that ends up being her sexy boss . I know I'll be reading more by this author so excited to see whats to come .

Rebecca Morales is used to taking orders from her ridiculously sexy, but total jerk boss, Bennett Ashby. As his Executive Assistant, she’s been on the receiving end of his demands more times than she’d care to remember. She may enjoy looking at him but she can barely stand the guy on a good day. Which is why she can’t understand her body’s reaction when she sees him at Luminous the night she accompanies her friends as their guest. Seeing him up on the stage exhibiting such control and dominance over the woman he’s demonstrating with does strange things to Rebecca. Bennett’s wanted Rebecca since the day he hired her but never could figure out how to make that happen but when he spots her watching him at Luminous he sees this as his opportunity to finally be with her. Rebecca is hesitant on the whole BDSM scene but when Bennett offers her one night to explore her submissive side in exchange for pleasure like she’s never known, she shocks herself when she finds herself saying yes. Bennett thinks that one night will be enough to get over his obsession with Rebecca, but he soon finds out that one night will never be enough. Now he’s just got to find a way to convince Rebecca not to run from the new desires that he’s helped awaken in her.

I thought this was another great read from Stacey Lynn! This is the third book in the Luminous series but you can definitely read it as a standalone. I read Dominate Me but haven’t read Crave Me yet and I was still able to thoroughly enjoy this story. BDSM books are always fascinating to me because it’s still such a crazy concept to wrap my mind around so I really liked how the underlying theme of this book was highlighting the difference between consensual BDSM play and abuse. It’s a belief that Rebecca struggled with due to events in her past and I am sure that it’s a concept that many people struggle with when thinking about that lifestyle. So it was interesting to dive into that and see this story dispel that belief. I really enjoyed both Bennett and Rebecca. Bennett was such a jerk at first but once we got to know him, he was very attentive and caring and I thought he was a really great guy. Rebecca was smart and strong and I liked that she never sacrificed who she was or what she believed in as she made all these new discoveries about herself. Their chemistry was off the charts and this book was crazy hot! It was surprisingly low angst, I expected there to be more, but I was kind of glad that there wasn’t unnecessary drama thrown in. This is a quick and steamy read with an interesting view into the BDSM lifestyle and now I have to go back and read Crave Me because I can’t believe I missed it!

Her vulnerability and insecurity was written so clear on her face, I was going to be that man that erased all of it from her. I was going to be the man that brought out all her confidence, all her desires, and I wasn’t going to stop until I was certain she believed exactly how fucking amazing she was.

Long for Me was such an intense loving story. I absolutely loved the couples in this story. It was amazing to read. BDSM for me seems like something very beautiful. I love reading about it whether it's a sweet side of BDSM or the raunchy side of it. This was a beautiful mixture of sweet and raunchy.

Rebecca was amazing. She wasn't interested in BDSM because in her mind it was just a man abusing a woman. It wasn't until she stepped foot in Luminous with her neighbors/friends Miranda and Shawn that she got to see what it was all about. It all seemed to intrigue her, but she had her own barriers prohibiting her from truly enjoying. All her barriers, however, came crashing down when her Boss was at the club and she saw him. He changed her world.

Bennett is a very dominate in both business and sex. He's a dom that frequents Luminous. He hasn't had a sub in a while, but goes to play every now and then. His attracted to his assistant, but tries not to push things over the line until he sees her at Luminous. Bennett is the perfect Dom -- sweet, caring, observant, loving, can bang well and takes extra care of his sub's heart, mind and soul. He doesn't just focus on her body. Bennett was very mature in that he wanted more to life than just sex and running a business. He wanted a family and a wife.

The romance was simply beautiful. Both were attracted one another, but kept things strictly professional until that one night of sin. That one night turned the tables for both of them and made them realize that the truly cared more for one another. I loved seeing them in and out of the office. They were in-sync and perfect for each other. Bennett made Rebecca better and she did the same for him. The sex was out of this world! Loved these two together from beginning to end.

I totally enjoyed reading about the other couples such as well. It added so much fun and depth to the lifestyle going on at Luminous. Great read for all BDSM lovers out there and even the ones who are curious about it.

This book was smoking HOT!!! Super sexy, erotic and romantic!! I haven't read Stacey Lynn before, so I haven't experienced her BDSM stories, nor do I typically read a lot of BDSM. But Stacey Lynn has created a world built on respect, romance, and being treasured. I devoured Bennett and Rebecca.

Bennett is a dominate alpha with the kindest, sweetest heart who knows exactly what he wants. And her name is Rebecca. From the start, I was thinking who would want this a**hole, but a few chapters in, I was like pick me.....I DO!! Holy hot balls, he was all power and built like a god. He was always considerate of how Rebecca was feeling through every scene. This was the best experience I've had with a BDSM book.

Rebecca had a lot of preconceived notions of BDSM (as I'm sure everyone does) but yet she craved it deep down. Once, she opened herself up to it, she blossomed into a woman who could let go of her past and feel safe within Bennett's world.

Romance flowed like a stream throughout the book, even though it was thoroughly erotic, it took a backseat to developing a real relationship with our main characters. I really appreciated the depth of characters, they weren't just there to roll around in the sheets. I will definitely be going back to read the first two Luminous books: Crave Me and Dominate Me. I would definitely recommend this book.

How to balance that, and of course falling in love. Instead of the dominate having full control..... its the submissive who wields all the power.

I am completely in love with Stacey Lynn's writing, especially Long For Me. I loved how into depth she goes to tell Bennett and Rebecca's story, being in the type of lifestyle they are in. The push and pull between these two were off the walls.

A fabulous hot summer read, that I highly recommend for romance lovers.

I really love this BDSM series by Stacey Lynn and each new addition is better than the last! In Long For Me, we meet Rebecca who has gone through a lot and worked hard to get where she is right now in life. She works as a personal assistant to Bennett. Bennett is a jerk. A sexy jerk, but still definitely a jerk. He's bossy, controlling and did I mention infuriatingly sexy?

When she finds herself at Club Luminous on New Year's she is taken aback to find Bennett. Bennett is a Dom and seeing Rebecca at his club tests him in ways he has been fighting since she was hired. They decide to have a night of fun and then go back to their business relationship The next day. That of course is much easier said than done.

Bennett doesn't start off as the most lovable male lead, but as we learn more about him, it's hard not to fall for his bossy charm and determination to see Rebecca happy. I loved how strong Rebecca was. She blossomed beautifully under Bennett's hands. If you love BDSM romances, I cannot recommend this series highly enough.

This series continues is so deliciously sinful, I can't get enough! These is something so forbidden about BDSM and the author does such a great job explaining about the exchange of power and making both parties feel safe and in a relationship, not just a guy hitting a girl. I love these characters as we get to see the couples from the previous books and get a front seat to Bennett and Rebecca's venture into this world.

Rebecca has no desire to be whipped or hit, but there is something intriguing about Bennett and his world. Before she knows or understands it, she can't get enough. Bennett has wanted Rebecca for a long time and never guessed she'd be willing to venture into his world. When they have one night, he knows that will never be enough.

Loved this book and I hope there is more coming in this series!

Rebecca's boss drives her insane. He is the most infuriating man she has ever met; always glaring at her, and barely giving her the time of day. When she ends up seeing him at Luminous on New Years Eve, things she wasn't aware she felt come to life. She shouldn't feel this way about her boss.

Bennett has had his eye on Rebecca for a long time, but he has always kept her at arms length. That is until she showed up at the club. Now that he knows that she is receptive to being a sub, he gives her a chance at one night, a night to live their fantasy's. Will she accept? Can Bennett only do this for one night, or once he has had a taste will he want more?

This was an good introduction to BDSM book. I found the whole boss/assistant, dom/sub aspect made for a good story. With some really nice sexy times, a little bit of drama I give this 4 stars.

This is my favorite book in this series. This series is different then what Stacey Lynn normally writes so the first couple books in the series it seemed like she was a little uncomfortable or not sure of herself. But this book she found her grove or her confidence.

I loved the storyline and the connection between Bennett and Becca will have your toes curling. I couldn't put the book down. This book was not over the top as you would think for BDSM it was very tastefully written but it also was filled with romance and oh so sexy. Definitely a must read!!!!

One night her friends talk her into going to their sex club Luminous for a look see.  There she spots Bennett doing a demonstration and her world shifts. But so does his!  His assistant has a kinky side he wants to explore so he offers her a night to enjoy a taste of submission.

Rebecca loved her night with Bennett and now she's curious for more!  She's craving things she shouldn't should she??  Bennett takes to settling Rebecca's doubts with a contract.  He wants her to let go of her fears and embrace what she feels when she submits. Rebecca is perplexed though. BDSM is just another form of abuse isn't it?? Why oh why does she enjoy what Bennett does to her mind, body, and soul??

Long For Me by Stacey Lynn is the third book in the Luminous series and I was so happy that it involved Bennett!  We got a glimpse of him in book two, Crave Me.  The chemistry is off the charts and I felt like I really knew the characters.  I felt Rebecca's struggles with what she feels verses what she thinks is.  Bennett is all sex on a stick but throw in sweetheart of a guy!  He wanted Rebecca to see what submitting to him is, and it's not all whips and chains. As they navigate this lifestyle together, they both realize some truths. This is a beautiful romance full of all the right feels!

I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend you purchase it!  It can be read as a stand alone, but Stacey's writing is so addictive, you'll soon pack your reader with the others from the series!

I need the rest of this series like I need a new breath! Rebecca is out for the night with her two friends at a sex club. But its no ordinary sex club (and I can't believe I just wrote that) its run for Dominants and submissives to come out and play. It scares her, but there's a part deep down inside of her that is intrigued. That part comes to light when she sees her boss, Bennet, on stage performing with a sub. She's fantasized about him but she never would've thought he would be this...dark and seductive,

Bennet dares her to give him the chance to prove that she can be his. The chemistry flew off the pages for these two and I found myself devouring page after page. Not only do that match on a sexual level but in business: these two divide and conquer. Bennet is the type of man to know when Rebecca needs to loose control and when she needs to take the lead in the office. Head to head wits and romance that just leaves you heaving and waiting for them to fight or f*ck.

We've had some new BDSM stories come out lately and this one has pulled me in and left me so satisfied. If you want a dominant hero that's going to help awaken the heroine to her inner desires in the most spectacular way: this is your novel.

Boardroom meets BDSM in Long For Me by Stacey Lynn in her latest novel in her Luminous series. Sizzling, enticing and alluring! This wicked installment had me captured from the synopsis, to the first chapter to the last word. By far my favorite book of the series!

I love how this book capitalizes on how BDSM is not abuse! “Never confuse submission for weakness.” Rebecca doesn’t understand why women can easily submit, bend at will to a powerful man for the mere ounce of pleasure. She saw what a negative/abusive relationship did to her mother and she refuses to be in that kind of relationship to any man… no matter who he is even if he is one handsome, arrogant, domineering boss!

“I no longer wondered where the devil on my shoulder came from. He was in front of me…”

Bennett Ashby can’t get enough of his executive assistant. He knows he’s a complete jerk to her, pushing her, but he loves how he pisses her off. He fantasies how he could get her bent over his desk in those alluring tight skirts she wears. Maybe his fantasies are not too far off when he meets eyes with her at the New Year Eve's party at Luminous, but can he show her that BDSM is not what she thinks it is, proving to her that it’s a beautiful play of consent, lust and eventually love?!

In love. Completely in love with Long For Me. I love BDSM books that showcase that the lifestyle is a beautiful dance of love, caring, consent and poetic intimacy between two souls who love kink. Stacey Lynn writes a well-written romance on describing the push and pull between a woman who is inquisitive in the lifestyle but her past stops her and a man who pulls out all the stops to show her what her life “could be”. All of Stacey’s Luminous novels are a joy to read, this one for me is my favorite so far. I can't wait for another novel in the series!
