I'm wavering between a 3 and a 4-star review.

Multiverse: Stories Across Realms is just what the title says--varied short stories that span the different realms Rzasa has created. The problem is I haven't read any of those.

Reading Multiverse feels like jumping into the middle of a conversation and having to figure out what's going on. Yet, once you've figured it out, it's like woah--I want to go find those books and read them. Well some of them. (I liked some universes more than others.)

I'd say you'd probably like this one more if you've already read some of his other books.

Multiple stories in multiple universes

Multiverse by Steve Rzasa is a short story anthology featuring short stories from the worlds of his many novels. I liked the face of the Deep stories best as those are the books of his I have read. But the rest of the stories were good enough that I now want to read his other novels too.

Think of this book as a Rzasa sampler. Where every story is your favorite choclolate. Except that one about the snow plow driver. That one is pistachio.

This was a fun read. Rzasa has compiled a collection of short stories he has written all into this book. I was excited to see that some of the stories were tied to other stories of his that I has read, that was a fun surprise. Others were intriguing and fun. There weren't any that I thought I should have skipped and I enjoyed each of them. 4 out of 5 Stars.
