An interesting read and exactly what you would expect from a Time in-depth look at Einstein’s life; they did a great job providing a well-rounded look at the life beyond just the scientist. This book paints him as the world’s beloved uncle, on top of one of the most notable scientists. His death is especially beautifully described; as he nears the end, he states “I have done my share. It is time to go. I will do it elegantly,” and he passed with calculations on his bedside in the hospital.

TIME Albert Einstein: The Enduring Legacy of a Modern Genius is a very well rounded, image filled, and concise account of his amazing life. I enjoyed reading it and never felt it over stepped informational reading into boring textbook territory, it successfully remained light and interesting. His complex theories were well simplified for explanation for the average reader to comprehend.

I love these Time books. Lots of nice pictures of Einstein's life, and interesting and accessible text about the man, his work, and his life. An interesting and fun read. (That's what books should be all about!)

Quick, cogent, very readable, very comprehensible, but I'm damned if I understand why these journalists drop the serial comma. It adds clarity, rhythm, and—note it!—consistency.
