LUCAS (Billionaire Bastards, Book Two) is a full-length standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA
Strike One.
He beat someone up right in front of me, picked him up by his neck and threw him across the room like it was nothing. He was defending my honor, but still. Can you say anger issues?
Strike Two.
He’s a buttoned up billionaire, filthy rich and sexy as all hell —exactly the kind of man I’ve always vowed to stay away from. (Not to mention totally out of my league.)
Strike Three.
He wants me when it’s convenient, touches my body in ways that make me crazy, but then he shuts down and becomes dark, moody, a different person.
I know something twisted and dangerous is lurking under his carefully constructed walls -- but I can’t stop hoping that we have a real connection, something more than meets the eye, something worth fighting for.
I know I’m just fooling myself.
He’s a gorgeous, cold-hearted billionaire bastard, and that’s all he’ll ever be…

Lucas is total opposite of Mason in terms of characteristics. Although this one got mostly same storyline like the first book. It's still interesting to see conflicts and growth of Lucas and Eden.
I chose this rating because this was a really great book. The characters were very interesting. I really enjoyed reading about Lucas and Eden, their journey into love and a loving relationship. Even though they both had secrets in their lives that they were trying to deal with. I was happy when Lucas left the company. And he and Eden started the newspaper on their own. They were a great couple. Overall I really enjoyed the book. I recommend this book to all romance readers.
Lucas and Eden get to know each other in the middle of a bar fight. He takes her to his house and they finish the night there. When he finds out she is a journalist for a satirical newspaper he drops her cold. She does not understand why, until she finds out his last name. He is one of the ones the newspaper enjoys taking potshots at. Next they meet at a charity event. He swoops her out of there fast, she wants nothing to do with him; they compromise, one week together and see where their attraction leads.
Lucas tries to maintain his identity by using his fists
Falling in lust with a hothead is hard on the stability status of your life. Even if your own is falling apart, too. Especially when you find the hothead is behind the lawsuit against you. Twist and turn. Ups and downs. Ins and outs. Brings an excellent outcome to the story
The book was pretty good. Lucas was pretty good guy. More so than I thought. He was better than mason. I mean both books were good but Lucas was more together and he and eden just jumped right in and went on and on lol.. he was a hunk really. Strong cute and had problems with anger. But still a good book.
This book kept me reading where I loved how it started out with Lucas in the bar and saving Edna but I just wished it was linked to the other books and u for a glimpse of how things are going with mason and Olivia. Over all good book though!
This series was Absolutely EXCELLENT! I rarely get that invested in novels but these 3 books, I could NOT put down I had to read them in one sitting.! You will not be disappointed. This author keeps you on the edge of your seat or bed. LOL
Such great insight to Lucas! These guys and their story's are tragic and amazing! There was a lot less about Lucas' partners in this one but it was still great!
This book was no better than the 1st book, there was no depth, the FMC fell hard and the MMC is a sweet and attentive but there no definitive until the end, this book is a 3 for me, though there were some spicy scenes, all the MCs did was have sex, the FMC totally lost herself in the MMC, and Almost completely ruined her life, yet she took him back… The MMC has issues with guilt which cause binge drinking and rage episodes, the way the FMC handled it was perfect but that was about the only good part of the book. It was such a short read that I decided to finish it, but probably about 35% through I wanted to DNF this one too.
Lucas Billionaire Bastards was quite an interesting book. I loved Lucas and Eden story. I. also loved the fact that the characters had actual problems and struggles to overcome. I realized that this is just fantasy but it good to sink your teeth into a well written storyline every now and again. This book is for mature reader's due to the hot sexual content. You should also check out Cold.
