Tessa Donovan’s grades have never been less than impeccable, and by default, she’s always been the teacher’s pet. Yet it’s during her junior year of college that she finds, for the first time, her grades are slipping. If she doesn’t maintain a perfect GPA, her wealthy parents, who are paying for college and all her living expenses, will cut her off.
After getting fired from his previous job at a magazine for sleeping with the boss’s wife, Leo Rochman begrudgingly takes a teaching job. It’s monotonous, and he hates it—until Tessa approaches him one day to ask about extra credit. Leo makes her an offer he’s sure she’ll refuse, except she doesn’t, and they embark on a thrilling, illicit affair. Thing seem like they might actually work out, until Tessa starts receiving anonymous letters demanding that she do various school assignments or risk her relationship with Leo being exposed. Tessa has no idea how she’ll handle the extra workload, on top of everything else, but unless she wants her entire college career to be derailed by this, she’s got to find a way to make it work.
At first it was okay, not insta-lust/love. Then I saw how plain boring Tessa was and bleargh…. the writing was just O.K. Nothing much happened and I’m so glad it ended
Tessa's parents are footing the bill as she goes to college. Only rule, maintain a 4.0. So what happens when you are getting low grades? Ask the teacher for extra credit right? Well she does and what her teacher says throws her a curve ball. Leo wants something more in his boring life. So when Tessa asks for extra credit he tell her she has to do something off the wall. Will she do? Great read. This book includes four additional books. The first extra book is called Addicted with Nate and Abby. The second extra book is called Beauty and the billionaire with Corsica and Penn. The third extra book is called Bad Professor with Clarity and Ford. The last extra book is called Bad Coach with Eryn and Wade.
Absolutely an amazing read!!! I loved every minute of it!!! The chemistry between Tessa and Leo was absolutely phenomenal!! I couldn't get enough of them! My favorite part was when her mom walks in on her giving Leo a bj. I mean seriously how embarrassing is that!! This book was sweet and enduring, with a lot of excitement! I couldn't get enough of it! I can't wait to read more!
I voluntarily agreed to read this book and this was my honest review!!
This student/teacher read was definally one of my favorites not only because I love Claire's books! I love the story line and some of the scenes were definally hot as sin!!! I borrowed this book from kindle unlimited!
Good story. I love anything Claire writes. Characters and story lines are always believable and the story flows. This story took a little longer to read for me due to live changing events happening at the same time I was reading. Took me a little longer to get though this book.
This is a story of a student getting in a bind due to one of her grades falling. She has to maintain straight A's in order for her parents to continue supporting her. Tess has always been on the straight and narrow, always staying out of trouble getting the good grades, always doing what is expected of her. In comes her teacher, Leo, who is bored with his life at the moment as he is used to traveling the world and getting all the tail he wants. She goes to him to see about doing extra credit to increase her grade. What he tells her was not the extra credit she was thinking of. This ends up turning into one heck of a study session for sure. There were a few little twists that get thrown in that are a nice touch. Things you don't see coming and I really enjoyed that.
