Do you have a list of what I call ‘my go to authors’? You know the ones that write the books that make you smile; the ones that you can’t wait for them to finish their next book so you can read it straight away? I do and Natalie Gayle is one of them.
I’ve read the first three books in the Centre Games series so I was looking forward to reading Quade and Jazz’s story. I’ll admit that Quade wasn’t my favourite Centre Games team member, but after reading Finding Resolution my opinion has changed. Quade is now my #1 Centre Games pin-up.
Finding Resolution covers a few categories but it could probably best be described as a paranormal contemporary romance with suspense, but when I was trying to decide which was the dominant category, I couldn’t. In other words, this book has everything.
First or all, there are the characters, most of which I have come to love through the previous books. Previously, Quade and Jazz have been minor (even though it’s not an accurate word to describe either of them) characters, but this is their book. I loved the fact that I got to ‘know’ them better plus I could read about the others. Quade was definitely a surprise, a very pleasant surprise. In this book, he reveals sides that I didn’t know existed. Sigh!
Another thing I like about this book is its location, an area which is known to me. I’m an Australian so I love to read about things that are uniquely Australian. It’s almost as if I have the inside story on what’s happening.
A big part of Finding Resolution is the suspense. This is the thing that kept me awake at night turning the pages as quickly as I could. Okay, the hot sex had a lot to do with it, too. As I said, this book has everything!
What rating do you give a book that has everything? Unfortunately, I can only give it 5 stars but believe me, it is worth so much more!
