When Love Grows

Rate this book
Meeting two guys in the same week was something I wasn't prepared for. One rescued me from falling on my face... twice. While the other immediately stole my heart with his big blue eyes. None of us were prepared for the surprises that awaited us.

Some surprises are like flowers, a beautiful addition to a garden, that will bring you joy and enhance your life. While others are like thorny weeds, only meant to cause harm.

Flowers and weeds. Both take work, but if you persevere, you’ll get to see the beauty when love grows.

Sweet romance with a slice of spice on the side.
I Love how Michelle Rene brings us stories that are sweet and that deal with real life situations with adding angst just to add it. Her stories speak on their own with their home down goodness romance with a just enough steam to keep ya satisfied.
When Love Grows keeps you stuck to the pages till the very end!!

What I love about Michelle Rene's books is that you don't have to wade through pages of unending angst and drama to get to the romance. The story is the romance! Ok, so yeah, there might be a few issues which need ironing out, but with her core characters, there is no backstabbing, no malicious intent - more you find a wonderfully supportive close knit family (or families), and friends, who genuinely want the best for the two at the centre of the tale. The love blossoming between Meg and Henry is beautifully portrayed, but it is Cooper who steals the show! Really enjoyed this book... easy 5 stars!

When Love Grows is a book that allows you to sink into your chair and drift away to a whole other place. You become so involved in what's happening to the characters that you forget about everything around you and don't stop reading until you get to the end. This book is full of love and romance, but there's also a few surprises thrown in that will have you reading as fast as you can to see what happens next. You'll also be left wondering what you would've done in Drake and Meg's situation when it came to making a decision involving Cooper.

Michelle Rene has displayed yet again that she's a talented writer who gives her readers books and characters that stay with them for days after. I finished this book a couple of weeks ago, but I still find myself thinking about certain moments from the book as I go about my day. I even had to remind myself the other day that I hadn't watched a film as I could so clearly see in my mind what the characters were going through. To me, this shows just how talented the author is.

Whilst this is book 3 of the series, along with a novella, it can be read as a standalone. You do meet characters from the previous books, but it's easy to work out who is who. However, you'll definitely be left wanting to read the others couples stories if you haven't already.

Cute story. The kid was adorable.

Drake and Meg went from 0 to 1,000 in a few days. To me, their relationship didn't develop enough to get to the point they were at so fast. But the story flowed and the families were great.
