Oblivious

Rate this book

My life is a mess, my boyfriend's an idiot, and he’s broke up with me because apparently, I’m a dirty sex addict who’s rubbish in bed. Yeah, this might need more than a bottle of whiskey or two to get over.
My two best friends can’t even help with this one. So, I escape to Spain for a two-week working holiday, open-minded and ready for some new adventures.
However, life has a funny way of turning everything on its head, and my two weeks away makes me realise. I had everything I wanted right in front of my eyes and was oblivious to it all.
On my return, things have changed, developments I had not expected. My relationship with my best friends will never be the same again. The end result is nowhere near what I was expecting, and I’m not prepared for it at all.
A light-hearted, humorous, hot and steamy MMF Ménage Romance, with no cheating and an HEA.

If you like them HOT, Oblivious’ updated release is a must read! I absolutely love Effie, Luca & Nate’s strong friendship bond and the comfort that they have with each other. Bailey James makes you feel like you are right there inside the story. I’m excited to read more from her!

Great Read

Second time around I enjoyed this book even more than the first time.

The three main characters were so likeable you rooted for them from the start.

Full of romance, love, steam- a great story!

Oblivious by Bailey James is probably one of the hottest, short read mmf books ever!

This new to me author did an awesome job with this story, the character's and the plot. I was reeling with excitement as I read. HOT!

I couldn't put it down.

I look forward to reading more by this author.

If you like mmf or thinking of giving it a go... read Oblivious!

Immensely enjoyable

Although there was some strange dialogue at times that didn't fit the characters, I immensely enjoyed the roller coaster ride that these three friends went through. Effie is one hot sexual woman. I doubt very many men could keep up with her. She is feisty and I hate that that jerk, Ralph, made her doubt herself. Luckily her best friends Luca and Nate eventually helped her out and started a beautiful relationship. I really enjoyed it.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I enjoyed it. Effie, Luca, and Nate have been best friends for ten years. They do everything together except have sex. Their close friendship has caused the ending of every romantic relationship each one has had with other people. When it comes down to it, they pick the friendship over the relationship every time. So what happens when they decide to have sex and try to make a relationship work between all three of them? Sparks definitely fly! Whew, they are hot! However, lack of communication is a big issue for them. Will they be able to overcome that? What happens when social pressures and jealousy enter their relationship? This was a shorter story that took a few hours to read. I recommend it if you're looking for a story you can start and finish in one day.

I enjoyed this book and I really love MMF books. The characters were great I just wish we could have just got to know just a bit more about them other then that I loved the story. We have Effie who is just one of the guys then there is dark hair handsome Luca and blue eyed handsome Nate all best friends since college now all roommates. After a breakup from her boyfriend Effie all of a sudden notices her roommates and then thing heat up.

I thoroughly enjoyed this quick, hot and steamy MMF story. Great storyline with wonderful characters. I really like that Luca, Nate and Effie were best friends before trying to have a relationship. It makes the connection stronger and deeper. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Interesting and hot

This is the first book I've read by this author and also the first time I've read this kind of plot. It was different from any other romance I've read thus far and definitely pushes the envelope. It was my first MMF! The love scenes were well written and very steamy more than steamy. I'm glad I picked this book it was a very sexy, fun and fast read.

Good story

But Effie was TSTL. I really didn't like her character at all. She knew her friend was the CEO of a company, but had no idea he was loaded, and if they were best friends for ten years, how did she know nothing about their careers. There was a lot of smut, but I didn't love how it was written. This was a decent novella, just one I don't plan to ever reread

This is the second book of Bailey James’ that I have read and honestly you can see that since the first one that her writing has improved and I love that when an author takes that on board and that they try their hardest to improve with each book they write. I really did enjoy the story for this book a whole lot more than Double Desire, but that happens you always seem to find one book that much more interesting than others. I honestly had no idea what way this book was going to go and honestly, I was pretty impressed with Bailey. She always manages to pull you in with what she writes and I honestly am looking forward to the next book that she releases.

Effie’s life is some sort of a mess, she had a boyfriend but he didn’t want to know her anymore due to the fact that she always wanted to experiment in the bedroom (but in his eyes, she’s a dirty sex addict) and apparently was *rubbish* in bed according to him. She lives with her two male best friends and thinks of them as brothers, but whenever anyone of them has a significant other life always tends to get a little out of hand as no one can understand the relationship between them. Things get complicated, so Effie decides to take a trio to Spain on a two-week working holiday, but things start to spiral out of control for Effie as when she does come back home things have changed and her life is never the same. I would go into more detail but honestly, if I do I will spoil it and I would hate to do that to you all. Seriously though, you should go ahead and pick up this book as I think it’s pretty good.

Great Story

I would have given this book a higher rating if a couple things were different. 1. I didn't like the outside of the relationship sex. It usually ruins a book for me, but I understand it's use here, so I kept reading. I didn't mind them dating others til they found each other, but I don't want to read about them having sex or wanting to or saying they were in love with other people. It makes them insincere and makes the main relationship feel less special than it is. I want to read about the couple, or trio, being together and not about things they did or do with other people. 2. The editing was bad. There was at least one misspelled word, which wouldn't have been so bad if there were not soooo many runon sentences. The punctuation was so incorrect all over the place. Sometimes it was difficult to tell who was speaking because of how the sentence or paragraph was structured, and the quotation marks were sometimes left out. These things made the books hard to read at times, but I was so wanting to see how everything turned out that I kept reading. I'm really glad I did. The characters were great, there was no cheating, and the last line was amazing. I'm a huge huge sucker for great last lines in books. They can serious make or break my opinion on a book. I hope to read more by James soon. There's a lot of potential there.

♥♥♥

This is an awesome best friends to lovers book. I really liked that each of them tried dating others before jumping in. It was amazing because they already lived together and had known each other for years. Sometimes the best things in life our right in front of us but we can't or won't see them until the timing is right. I would love to read a follow up with this triad and see if they do get married or have a commitment ceremony and if and how they handle kids. I recommend this to anyone who likes a good romance!

Good but needs a proofreader

This could have been a 5 star read if it had been proofread. It was rather distracting and annoying but I did overlook it because I wanted to know how the story ended. However, I will probably not read this author again.

I loved the story. Nate, Luca and Effie were indeed oblivious to each other's feelings. Roger was definitely a prick. There were some funny parts and some emotional parts. The truth about Ibiza coming out in the end was the perfect ending.

This is my first book by Bailey James, and I have..mixed feelings about it.
I love, love mmf books, if it's done right. And Oblivious are almost done right.
I like the idea behind this story, but it's not very well written.
It's a fast read, nothing wrong with that. I would liked to have some more details about the guys jobs, looks (not only their body).
It was hot, very hot bedroom activities. And it had it's sweet spots.

I thank the author for providing a copy to voluntarily review.

Good sexy book

Every now and then I need to read something a bit more than a love story so this certainly changes that ,I love the way they are happy with each other and go against the norm ,life should be more like that loving each other however with consenting adults doing what they want to do ,loved the characters and glad they got rid of vanilla sex with the exes ,love reading these books on a boring lockdown day ,dnt have to think about it too much just enjoy the read

Great unconventional easy but exciting read.

Great book. I really enjoyed the story. It emotional and exciting. I loved that it was an easy read. I loved that it was an unconventional love story without all the lengthy backstory. If someone wants a short fun read this is the book for you.

Cute romance

Sweet best friends to more story, but there were a few editing issues, things felt a little too rushed in some places. I think there was just too much other stuff crammed in that it became a bit distracting. There was plenty of communication between Effie/Luca and Effie and Nate, but nothing between Nate and Luca. I would've loved to have seen more.

Simple and amateurish

My 1st problem is horrible grammar. The 2nd was the lack of character development. The 3rd was lightweight plot. The sex scenes were more statement than description and emotionless.

Steamy, sexy read!

The storyline was good, the characters were great. It was a fast paced, steamy, sexy MMF menage read. However the editing wasn't great and that spoilt it for me a tad, but if you don't mind bad editing then it's worth the read.

Enjoyed this book the story line was good and kept me interested only thing I was disappointed in was the ending I thought it ended to quickly it really needs an epilogue

It was mostly just sex. I guess because they were already friends for years, they didnt need to build upon the emotional portion of the relationship. Book focuses 90% on their sex life. Uses a miscommunication to cause tension but generally has no real plot.
