To most people, Jabberwock is a myth.

A horror story that politicians and CEO's tell their interns, about a mysterious figure who pulls the strings of the world's most powerful, from the shadowy corners of the deep web.

Reagan knows he's real. Jabberwock is the reason people around her are dying.

Two men insist they can keep her safe and help her find answers. Hare is sweet, soft-spoken, and introduces her to a wicked walk on the wild side, spiced with temptation and thrill.

Hatter has kept secrets from her since they met. But he speaks her language, and a single touch from him ignites her desire.

As she follows the tracks down the rabbit hole, Reagan is dropped headfirst into a world of the dangerous and surreal, where everything and everyone has a price. And her time is running out to discover if it's the Hatter or the Hare who owns Jabberwock's bounty on her.

Through The Looking Glass Into A Mindf***

Allyson Lindt has written an intricate story that weaves elements of Alice in Wonderland into a modern day maze of complicated characters who are playing in the Dark Web. Reagan is searching the darkest corners of the Web looking for answers to help her come to grips with her brother's death. She meets 2 enigmatic men who both swear they're the only one she can trust. Wish each fast-moving event in her life Reagan spins from trusting one to trusting the other and back again. This book is smart, at times funny, spellbinding in an edge-of-your-seat page flipping kind of way that will leave yelling WTF at the end. I originally read this week's ago and it is still with me. To say I eagerly await the conclusion of the story is an understatement. This is so far beyond a 5 star read.

I am always excited when I get presented with the opportunity to read a new author, and when I heard about this book, I jumped at the chance. I love creative, smart, sexy cool stories and this one ticked all the boxes.

This story brings you into a world of intrigue, suspense, and steamy erotica with a techy twist utilizing the themes of Alice and Wonderland. I drank the potion and fell down the rabbit hole. Follow Reagan on a journey to seek answers to questions that nobody else had dared to ask.. People aren't who the seem and the only one you can trust is yourself.

A page turner that I couldn't put down. This is Book 1 in the Hacking wonderland Series, a duet. Edgy, quick witted and smartly written. The geek in me devoured it right up!!

This is a short novel that ends in such a way that it could have easily been combined with the sequel to create a complete book. It does not end on a cliffhanger, though; I look forward to reading the conclusion, but I didn’t feel the urge to dive into it immediately. Reagan (“Alice”) immediately intrigued me as a character based on her determination to seek out (and possibly take revenge) on her brother’s mysterious killer. This has led her down an intriguing educational/career path that puts her directly in the cross-hairs of multiple secretive organizations, much to her detriment. Two men, known as Hatter and Hare, attempt to convince her to ally herself with them. Reagan makes the best choices she can with the information she has. Though she does end up sexually involved with both men, I love that she does so for her desires first and foremost.

Lindt always does a fantastic job portraying computer stuff in her writing in a way that is accessible to readers while also making it clear that her characters know their chops. This book presents it differently, using a secretive “dark web” organization with which Reagan’s brother may have once been involved. (I’m not entirely clear on how official the Wonderland designators are for the characters.) I wish “Alice” had been able to show off more of her computer capability in this book rather than being dragged around the country and forced to manipulate external events to the best of her ability.

Despite the sexy bits, this is very much a female-driven thriller in which the narrator is the hero of her own story and not a pawn in someone else’s (as much as the Hatter and Hare might want to believe otherwise). This book is probably an excellent choice for Lindt fans looking for her talented use of character and drama in a way that does not revolve around romance.

Reagan Through the Looking Glass by Allyson Lindt is a fascinating new world. One that caught my attention right away. Some many references to the Alice in Wonderland that it's intriguing. All the codes names and secrets. Reagan's brother is killed by a notorious man. One that is well connnected and knows everyone's secrets. Yet Reagan aka Alice soon discovers his. That's when the game becomes deadly. She's super smart when it comes to computer technology. And soon, the Jabberwocky won't know what hit him until it's over...

Allyson Lindt is a talented writer. Her books are addictive. This one, is part of a duet. Making it a must read and leaving readers like myself hanging for the next release. Exciting, dangerous, and intriguing. Reagan Through the Looking Glass is creative yet thrilling read. I enjoyed the mystery, suspense, and the risks the characters took. Hot, sexy, and entertaining to follow. I loved reading it. Reagan is a strong yet determined heroine that kept me guessing. Overall, I highly recommend this soon to be released title.

This original twist on the Wonderland story is fast-paced and full of action, intrigue, adventure, suspense, and even a bit of romance. It is a hacker tale, but it isn't so full of tech speak as to be distracting. I'm probably the most technologically challenged person that I know and I had no problem understanding what was happening on the cyber side of things. The characters are interesting and developed and the story kept me guessing from the beginning. Reagan (Alice) has no idea just how far down the rabbit hole she's going to have to go or who she should trust on her journey. She's torn between two men in this dangerous game and they both have secrets, some bigger than others, and Reagan is stuck somewhere in the middle. Too much more would give spoilers and this is one that shouldn't be spoiled for anyone. I highly recommend this captivating story to anyone who enjoys the genre.

My mind is absolutely spinning. In a world where the bad guys are good and the good guys are bad, no is what they seem at all. And uncomfortable truths pop up at inopportune times like a Cheshire cat. While searching for answers to her brother's death, Reagan stumbles into a dark world that would make even clandestine operatives tremble in fear. She's surrounded by people she shouldn't trust. One of them might be her salvation but once she chooses who to put her faith in, has she made the right decision? Even though the villain of the book is something akin to a cyber-terrorist, there's very little technical about the story, it's all about the mind games. Even the ending carries forward the mind games and sets up the continuation into the next book. Which I can not wait to get my hands on.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

A creative, original twist to the Alice in Wonderland story that keeps you reading page after page. Reagan AKA Alice wants to find the killer of her brother Alex. Jabberwock. No one has ever seen him - no one knows who his real identity is. He has his own secret technological Wonderland. She wants to take it down and she has the computer skills to do it. When her Professor/Adviser is killed, they target her next. Both sides - the Government and the bad guys are after her but she figures out their secrets and has to find a way out. A twisting, crazy ride full of action, adventure, hot sex, wacky characters, secrets, lies and lots of unexpected information. Hare and Hatter both want her, but who will will come out the winner in the end? Who can Reagan trust? I voluntarily read an ARC of this book.

Not what I expected.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Reagan is a highly intelligent college student – resourceful, clever and determined. Her Masters’ thesis research has taken her to the dark web in search of the mysterious Jabberwock. It’s rumoured that he’s the mastermind behind a vast underworld criminal network. Her quest to discover his identity is aided by two men – Hatter and Hare, both of whom have hidden agendas. To get the answers she seeks, Reagan must first determine which one is telling the truth and which is feeding her lies. When all is said and done, will she be able to outplay these players to secure her safety? This well written story is very intriguing with interesting and compelling characters. There’s plenty of mystery, subterfuge, action, adventure, mind games, drama, and suspense along with some very steamy encounters. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of the story in The Hatter and The Hare.

Allyson Lindt has gone to a new place with her writing and has taken us along for the ride. This smartly written story of a young woman trapped between what her head is telling her and what her heart needs to do. Reagan is driven to find out the truth about her brothers death. She is pulled into the Dark Web surrounded by people she only knows by names drawn from Alice In Wonderland. Like Alice, Reagan is lost in a world where nothing is what it seems and no one can be trusted. However, in Reagan's version of Wonderland, the cost of finding the answers she so desperately seeks my cost more than heart. It may cost her her life. This book is witty, charming and has all the steam we love. This is a duet so be prepared for a cliffhanger. I yelled WTF and wanted to through my Kindle.

I read this as a serial from the author. This is a fun, suspenseful read, but, ends with a cliffhanger, to be continued in The Hatter and the Hare. Reagan is looking for her brother's murderer. There is someone out there calling himself Jabberwock and he's responsible. Initially in her search she is aided by her student advisor, but her is murdered early on, and with his warning and subsequent death she's on the run. Along the way, she meets two men, Hatter and Hare, both part of Jabberwock's organization. Both claiming the Jabberwock wants her protected, does she trust either, and knowing she is looking for him, why does the Jabberwock want her safe?

Reagan Through the Looking Glass is so twisty. You have to rethink after each new tidbit is doled out, and you only get this little piece each time. This story held me captivated every moment. Reagan/Alice is so smart, but so many things have been kept from her. Hare and Hatter both appear to be on her side, but appearances can be deceiving (and here most likely are). Does she find out enough to pick a side or just rely on herself and avenge her brother and friend. Man, I can't wait the conclusion, cause this is just part one.😩

Hang onto your hats, his one is a wild ride...

This is book one of the two book Looking Glass Series. This book is centered around an Alice in Wonderland theme. This well written book got my attention right at the beginning and kept me in suspense. Lots of drama, suspense, twists, danger and some erotic romance to keep your interest. Warning you are left hanging since this is book one of a two part series, but the next book is out in September. I received an arc copy and voluntarily chose to review

I loved this twisted look into Alice in Wonderland. Allyson is an amazing author and this twisted plot really proves that. I loved the mystery and just the entire feel to the book. Following Reagan around and seeing everything that goes on with Hatter, Hare and all the other characters was amazing. I'm completely with Reagan and have no clue who to choose or even if I like either of the, after the things they revealed. I can't wait to start book two and find out what is going to happen next.

Allyson Lindt's "Reagan Through the Looking Glass" is the first tale in the Hacking Wonderland series. This is a suspense/thriller/romance - a new sub-genre for Allyson Lindt. I loved it - it just flowed and was so good, I felt like I just disappeared right into the book. Reagan, Hatter, and Hare are all great characters. This is better than DaVinci Code! I can't wait to read what comes next.

The premise was really interesting, using Alice in Wonderland terminology within the cyber-world was a clever idea. I quickly fell for both men's lies ("Hare" and "Hatter") like Raegan did and apart from a few editing errors like missing words here and there, I found the story engaging and fast-paced. Will read number 2 to see how it all ends.

Twists and turns down the rabbit hole

Just when I had a handle on it, it flipped again. Who is the bad guy and who is not so bad?
I liked that she acknowledged when she was making a less than smart decision. I liked that she acted even when afraid.
I look forward to the next one, which I am opening immediately.

I am a sucker for an Alice in wonderland re-telling. This one was very different and interesting. While the wonderland connection was unnecessary, it definitely didn’t detract from the story. It was a quick read and left off on a cliff hanger. If you like Alice in Wonderland stories, this is a good series to try.

DNF. Hey, I don’t trust you one bit, but let me run off to a different state with you and, while I’m at it, sleep with you for good measure. Maybe I was tired while I was reading it, but I just didn’t care enough to attempt to follow the intentionally confusing storyline.

I’ve read several of Allyson’s books and always enjoy them because she has a different feel to her writing than you usually see in the Romance genre. Her style is fun and fresh, with a distinctively brilliant, geek girl charm that I can’t quite find anywhere else. Some authors write romances about characters who have tech jobs, or who are “geeks,” or “nerd,” but many of them either really dumb down their own personal knowledge to appeal to the non-tech reader, or they don’t actually know anything about computers or the fandom they want their character to love so much, and it makes all these so-called genius characters all seem pretty much the same. Those characters run together in my mind like soggy water color pictures, bleeding one into the other until I can’t remember who wrote which novel.

I always remember Allyson’s books, because there’s nothing else like them. “Reagan Through the Looking Glass” is a perfect example. There are million stories that have been written using the Alice in Wonderland theme in one way or another, but I challenge you to find one quite like this. It’s a very modern day tale, but not a retelling of the tale. This is something else entirely.

Reagan is a young woman caught up in the search for her brother’s killer, hunting for years, looking high and low through the dark web. She knows that her brother was involved somehow with a person known by the online codename, “Jabberwocky”. Reagan had managed to turn her hunt for the Jabberwocky into a Master’s thesis, guided by a Professor specializing in cyber security. Reagan is at a tech convention when she gets a completely paranoid call from her professor (not the first she’s ever received from him), but she ignores his warnings of impending doom…

This is just the beginning. Everything Reagan thought she knew is blown apart. Things she thought she knew about her brother, her Professor, she starts to doubt. She has to decide if she can trust people who she’s thrown into dangerous situations with at a moment’s notice and only go by crazy names like, Hatter, Hare, and Doormouse. There are riddles everywhere she goes, lies and half-truths.

When everything becomes a mind game, and there’s no one you can trust, you really can’t go home again. (It sounds like a Moviephone trailer doesn’t it? I could definitely see this as a movie.)

“…Looking Glass” could be simply a good spy novel, but it becomes a really great spy novel because of the Wonderland flavor – because it’s Allyson. These characters are so relatable and real, and the theme is unique. You really can believe that this group of cyber criminals would not only use online names to protect their identities, but that they would pick a unifying theme – and why not Wonderland? The personality quirks they each have are realistic; the knowledge base that Reagan has for her subject matter is solid and unwavering. The action is fast-paced, the tension at times simply off the charts as you struggle right along with Reagan to understand what’s happening, and why everyone else seems to be at least three steps ahead.

There’s so much about this book to love, I could go on and on… luckily, it will. In book two.

Wow. I am not even going to try to tell this story. You will truly think you have fallen down the rabbit hole. A twisty, turny rabbit hole. Up will be down and down will be up. Alice (Reagan) will meet all kinds of creatures and have to keep her word about her if she ever wants to escape this not - so - wonderful land alive.

I read an ARC of this book. My review is voluntary. I can't wait for the next one so I can find out what happens next.

Hacking Wonderland!

Allyson Lindt has a knack for writing entertaining and exciting storyes with a geek heroine and one or two alpha males. And this is no exeption.

This story is an amazing twist of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, And What Alice Found There. Where the characters in the original stories comes to life in a suspensful and enthralling read. The story is humorous, sexy and captivating, with some sizzling hot scenes.

Reagan is, due to her brothers death, looking for the man she belives to be his killer. When her student advisor, one who's also been searching for the mysterious Jabberwocky, is found murdered help comes unexcpected. Both Hare and Hatter says they're there for her protection, but can she trust them?

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book. This is the first of two books in the Hacking Wonderland Series. And I can hardly wait for the next one.
