The Savannah Coven #10

Return of a Witch

Rate this book
Like the city of Savannah, Anna St. Germaine has a history rich in secrets, danger, and plenty of magick. Now that she and her coven have conquered evil, it is time to enjoy her happily-ever-after. The date has been set, the bouquets have been chosen, but when Anna’s life should be brightest, a menacing omen casts new shadows. Rae Scott has good reason to avoid her hometown. Years ago, she shared her hopes, dreams—and her heart—with a man who tossed it all aside. Though Savannah is filled with painful memories, Anna’s wedding is an event she simply can’t miss. She plans to stay long enough to hear “I do,” before leaving once again. But an ancient power has been awakened, ominous forces that won’t let her go. Arik Mansur has a family legacy, a mysterious inheritance tainted by death. He’s sacrificed much in search of answers, but now Fate has raised the stakes. And if he wants to learn the truth, he must risk it all—even the woman he loves.

Suza Kates is one of my favorite authors so when I heard she was writing a sequel to her Savannah Coven series I was doing a happy dance. I knew she was going to introduce new characters while catching up with our favorite coven. She does both expertly and doesn't disappoint on either level. We find out what our old friends have been up to since we last saw them, they all were able to help our new character Rae Scott by using their own unique abilities we grew to love in the first 9 books.
Suza is a master of ending each chapters with its own little mystery. You HAVE to read the next chapter to find out what is going to happen or what the answer to the mystery is. Its a unique talent Suza does so well. Not only is there mini surprises in each chapter but the ending of this book left me with a huge OMG moment. awesome job . what a great ending to an awesome book. I cannot wait for the next book.

Fasten your seatbelt!!!!

A wonderful roller coaster, and just when you think you have a handle on the storyline: Surprise, just on the last page. If you have read the Savannah Coven Series, you will love this book, although it can be read as an independent book, the whole series will enrich your experience

They're back!

I missed the coven so much after the last book - this one includes all of them, but in supporting roles to new characters and new evil. Now I have to wait for the next one :-( Thank you, Suza Kates, for continuing to write great stories!

Anna St Germaine is getting married and the coven is back in Savannah for the event. But things are not all good as she begins having dreams/visions which involve her childhood best friend, Rae Scott, who's back in town after being gone several years. When it turns out that Rae's ex-fiancée needs her Rae doesn't want to get involved at first but his mother's life may be at stake so she and Anna go together. Things then become complicated when it seems there's a new danger that must be faced or darkness will enter the world.

I loved this series and this book was no exception. Despite reading this book well after the rest of the series, I was able to catch on to who the various characters were. The book drew me in from the beginning and kept me reading until the end. I highly recommend the book and the series which I suggest you read in order. I look forward to the continuation.

Fantastic

I've read the entire Savannah Coven series and this story starts with Anna St.Germanic getting married to Ian. Anna's long time childhood friend Rae comes home for the wedding. Rae is faced with seeing her ex fiance Arrick and having to deal with her broken heart but the love she felt is still there. Arrick knows Rae has come home for the wedding but for something else, her home comming is a sign something is about to happen. Rae's destiny..., Arrick's destiny... is About to reveal itself....and something else...a whole new evil. The story ends with a spin off series that promises to be just as exciting as The Savannah Coven series, which I'm sure we'll be seeing intertwined into the stories. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to read the next installment 😀

Entertaining Series

If you are in to witches, demons and the supernatural, you’ll ❤️ these books. They are fairly well-written and fast paced. The characters are well-developed and believable. I definitely developed an affection for everyone in the coven. Fair warning: There is one storyline in the book that becomes predictable from one book to another but it adds to and doesn’t detract from the storyline. I look forward to the next in the series!

A New Series???

Sounds like a new story line in the making. Doesn't matter who, when or where, but a whole new group of witches is about to take over, and what could be better than the elements coming together?

Another tale of love saving the day! Only good can conquer evil.

Can't wait to see where it goes from here!!!

Once again, Suza Kates has written a book that had me on the edge of my seat all the way through. The new story line is full of mystery, suspense and romance plus it offers the reunion of the Savannah Coven Witches! Who could ask for more? There are mini cliffhangers in almost every chapter. Villains you love to hate and an unexpected twist! I love that this reunion book also starts a new series! Looking forward to future books of the Watchtower Maidens series! Well done Suza Kates!
