I really wanted to like this book but it was just too much of a 'Really?' situation for me. The way Tabitha totally accepted the whole tiger shifter scenario, without even batting an eye was just to ridiculous for me. No doubts, no questions, no nothing, just Ty telling her they are tiger shifters and she's like 'okay, now what'..that quick acceptance started the downfall for me, but what clinched it was Ty.
Normally I love tough alpha male leads but Ty was so fucking extra it was beyond frustrating. If he was a dog, I would have expected for him to piss on Tabitha for all of the tough shit act he was putting on. I swear to God, the man was losing his fucking mind, yelling at his people, being a huge asshat and basically putting Tabitha in the proverbial bubble. The poor girl couldn't even cough without this Neanderthal yelling at one of his guards for allowing his mate to cough and not use their hands as tissues! That's how fucking insane this man was. There was nothing sexy about his over the top attitude. I swear Tabitha acted more mature and she was only nineteen!!!!
Lastly, the ending! It was so fucking abrupt, I honestly thought I skipped a chapter or something because in one paragraph I'm reading about the plan to see Pierce's sister and a few lines later the book is over...just...like...that! It ends on a slight cliffhanger, if not for the free three book boxed set I have, I would have been pissed if I paid for such an abrupt and incomplete ending!!!!!
2) The Tiger's Heart 2 Stars
This was marginally better than book one. Raja was a lesser ass than Ty but at least they agreed to teach both Tabitha and Bethany self defense, because really what's the point of having them surrounded by guards 24/7 when some simple self defense moves can lessen that stress?
In any case this kept me more interested than book one but unfortunately this also ends on a cliffhanger...don't authors know cliffhangers ruin the story? Some readers may be truly devoted to keep buying incomplete books, I am not one of those readers. The only instance where I read a few cliffhangered books are if I happened to have a free boxed set or the books were gifted to me. I will never knowingly purchase a book like the ones in this series where you have to keep purchasing the following books in order to get the full story..
Overall this series has awesome potential, the cliffhangers bring the ratings down dramatically, at least for me they do..
3) Tigress for two 2.5 Stars
Well out of the first three books in this series, I enjoyed this one the most, mainly because while Taber was protective of Kallie, he wasn't overbearing, no pun intended. I was disappointed that it took more than half of the book to introduce his twin and Kallie's other mate because as is the norm in these books, the ending came upon me swiftly and abruptly! Oh and it's another cliffhanger...three books in, three different species and Pierce is still eluding capture..makes me think that he is definitely smarter and more cunning than the tigers, bears and lone wolf looking for him...SMH.
The Alaskan Tigers Collection: Books One - Three is an anthology of the first three books in a thirteen book series.
Tiger Time starts the story when Ty Reynolds approaches Tabitha Leigh and explains she is the 'Queen of the Tigers', his mate and destined to bring all the tigers together.
The Tiger's Heart is Raja and Bethany's story, full of tragedy, sweet moments and Raja finds his mate in the human Bethany.
Tigress for Two brings together an unusual mating between Tabor, a Kodiak Bear Shiftier and Kallie, a tigress of the Alaskan Tiger Clan. It gets complicated when he twin brother also finds out he is Kallie's mate too.
These three stories are the start of an interesting series and I am looking forward to reading the rest of it.
I liked the intricacies of the storyline and the camaraderie between the characters. It was a fairly quick read being that it was 3 books in 1 but the was okay as the stories flowed nicely from one to the others, none of the rehashing some of the story before to catch up with was very nice since I was binge reading and hate when the happens when I do that. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author as this was my first time reading her work.
Red Flag for Descriptive Violence. I found Book 1 to be sophmoric, stilted and formulaic at times, but wanted to give the series a chance as the story had some interesting threads, especially the Magic Book. However Book 2 had graphic torture of Heroine and play-by-play torture murder of 17 year old girl that was just too much violence for me. TOASTED from my Ebook Library.

This book has three stories in the series that all have cliffhangers. The writing seemed forced to me, however the book was not horrible. Each book I would try to rush to get to the point or end. I would like to know more about the series but I am not willing to pay for a book that could continue into infinity.
The 1st, 2nd and 90% of the 3rd were very good, But the remainder of the third had NOTHING to do with the first 2.95%! It changer when they got rid of the black, shiny , net truck on their way back to the chopper. Therefore I have gone on to another author!

Three intriguing stories, and bringing together shifters off all kinds together to fight a very evil person. Looking forward to seeing them get the bad guys.
