Great debut book from a self published author! I enjoyed spending time with the cast of characters and the plot kept me engaged until the end. I hope there's a second book!

Transience as the first book by Hannah Greene is a nice read. You can easily go with the flow and characters. Debut book like this should be given a try and some chance.

Though the term “Nephilim”, well, it is not a new thing since they’re biblical race born from the union of human and angel, thus Nephilim is considered half-angel, half-human. But the story here has something to add more other than that which somehow predictable, though. The turn of events is somehow easy to conjure some conclusions, too.

One thing I also want to say about this book is that it uses much of same sentences or group of words. Definitely, redundancy is off to me as I don’t feel it was thought thoroughly. Also, the point of view is sometimes confusing or it is not been directed to whomever really it signifies. Some minimal typos, too, and I think it can’t be always avoidable.

The book is good and the entire time I read it is worth seeing this fresh yet somehow unique story. And there is an M/M romance here.

This is also a multiple POV, alternately between, Dax, Lilly, and (not much for) Lilly’s aunt – Suzie. I think for the purpose of giving an additional appearance for Suzie thus she becomes one of the POV but actually, she can just be out of it. Or I might be already pulling some importance of her side. I think so. Anyway, yeah, let her be out of it, I guess.

Since I feel this got to be having a sequel (that cliffhanger can’t be just that), I wish it got some more to reveal as I’m looking forward to this. More to Dax’s power as I imagine that piano part with Beauty and the Beast. Lilly… hmmm… the way she ended at the last part, I think, I’ll wait for what to be expected of her.

Have some taste for paranormal with Nephilim on it, then why don’t you jump on this? You might be perfect for this book.
