I started this knowing it was a bit out of my comfort zone, since the roles were reversed compared to what I typically like, & I’m so happy I gave it a try. The dynamics between characters was complex, & I loved it, though I’ll admit the feeling gradually grew on me. The veela story was original. The emotion was there, but done in a more delicate way.

The plot is solid and was better than I expected. It was not my favorite work from this author but it was entertaining and a good read nonetheless. I found the story and background very creative as well as the "why" and "how" the strain works on humans. Nice work!

i dnf’d this 6 chapters in guys it was actually enough like i was gonna throw my phone at the wall. EVERY OTHER SENTENCE WAS ABT HOW SHE WASNT PRETTY AND BLA BLA BLA LIKE OMFGGG SHUT UPP ?? Like it’s not her that’s saying it ITS DRACO ?? HE KEEPS MENTIONING HOW SHES UGLY AND I CANT STAND IT OMFGGG ITS SO BAD

Also draco is just weird in this one … like sooo rude but not in a charming way at all literally just makes me not wanna continue reading like i tried guys i tried for 6 chapters but it was too much and also when she didnt defend herswlf when he made a bad joke abt how she needed to like dress to compensate for being ugly omfg i just cant like i cant. So bad SOOOOO BAD i am blacklisting this fic like veela fics r supposed to be sweet wtf is this omggg 😭😭😭😭😭 i would’ve just let myself die if i was her holy shittt its so humiliating

the part before they got together was so good. and then they got together kinda quickly and it wasn’t as interesting after that. ending felt a bit rushed and i wish the epilogues were for them instead of the side characters.
