Rate this book
Joseph McMoneagle is an extraordinary remote viewer, a "psychic spy," whose experiences have given him a special insight into the nature of time and human perception. For more than seventeen years, he was a researcher and remote viewer for the top-secret Army project STARGATE. For years after that, he journeyed through time while working in a consciousness-development lab with out-of-body experience pioneer Robert A. Monroe. Do we slip between alternate realities? In The Ultimate Time Machine, McMoneagle delivers new insights into these mysteries, First-hand information--including transcripts from lab sessions--on the origins of humanity, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, and the building of the Egyptian pyramids. Provocative suggestions about the nature of time, creation, and a constantly changing past. A detailed picture of our immediate future through the year 2075. More than 150 very explicit predictions on world population, aging, religious fragmentation, lifestyle changes, technological developments, and dozens of major changes to laws, customs and practices--all within a positive and constructive framework. His prophecies from his remote viewing were not very specific and missed some really big things that happened such as 9/11 and the Haiti Earthquake, but there were some surprising close ones. Interesting anyway

I always enjoy reading about other remote viewers and about remote viewing sessions. This book covers predictions up to 2075 as well as our possible future into the year 3000. I don't think I've ever read anything where someone looks so far into the future. Although, these are just predictions and nothing is certain since the future is not fixed. I enjoyed reading about McMoneagle's experiences and may pick up his other books. I think as a remote viewer that it's good to read about other remote viewers because one can always learn from other remote viewers. McMoneagle is one of the amazing gifts to this planet!

Maybe its because I read it in 2025, but this book feels like its full of opinions and interpretations ”remote viewings” misrepresented by the authors own lived experience. It goes against what the author have often said about remote viewing which is that they should bot have any knowledge of the target or ”front loading” at the risk of the viewer including their interpretations of what they are seeing.

I’m still glad I read the book, and I really like the part of the book where he discusses ”unconscious consensus”, but the book is generally a departure from what I expected from the author.
