Excellent introduction into what it takes to start creating Apps for your iPhone/iPad. The foundation is all important, and programming is more like learning a new language. This book is a good solid foundation, that builds through exercises. The book gives concepts and then jumps you into Xcode the multifaceted application used to write, construct, test, compile, and ultimately publish your creations. You will have to have the ability to run XCode, so I'm pretty sure that means owning an Apple Mac of some kind. But, if you want to use this book, and delve into the shallow end of developing Apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, then this is where to start. The follow on book in their series is App Development with Swift, and continues on where you left off basically. Very interesting, overwhelming at times, but well laid out, good instructional techniques, interesting course.
Wow, this is a very good and informative book! It was very interesting to read. By the way, the company https://attractgroup.com/services/app... recently developed an app for me for a good price. I wish I could learn to make applications myself. I think that this knowledge in the book will help me to start studying.
It was nicely written. Lot of exercises and love for coding. My mistake was that I chose the wrong book and it was outdated. Currently it is not the first book to read about swift coding. The first one is (Jan 2021) Develop in Swift Explorations.
