I'm lucky enough to have gotten an advance copy, and can't wait to get my hands on the printed version. This devotional is the kind that you'll go back to again and again, you'll want to use it in your bible studies, you'll want to share it with a friend who is struggling, and you'll want to let the truth of God's Word soak into you, whether you're still not sure about this whole Jesus thing, or you've been following after Him for years.
This book is easily digestible, but not lightweight. It's very easy to read, but does not trade readability for content. It's packed with solid exegetical truth from the passage of the day. It's a great mix of personal stories and timeless truth. It convicts and encourages and uplifts and trains.
I would recommend this book to anyone (man or woman) who wants a tool to help them unpack the scriptures more thoroughly, to see God more clearly, and to help answer those most important of questions: Who is God, and who am I? This would be a fantastic tool to use with someone you're discipling, or to give as a gift, but you'll definitely want to keep a copy for yourself as well.

Unblinded Faith has been the thing my heart has needed. Some days are a complete struggle to believe God's word, but spending a little bit of time each morning in the word and processing the questions that Pulliam poses has been incredibly life-giving.

This devotional will take you back to the basics of faith and remind you of the true hope that is yours for the taking.

Sometimes we get skewed ideas about God and what He is doing in our lives. Pulliam reminds us that Satan blinds the eyes of those who don't believe and tries to make the rest of us struggle. It is sometimes hard to believe the Word and the promises it declares in the face of circumstances.

Pulliam helps readers face a number of issues concerning believing the Word. She helps us clarify our beliefs about the character of God and about what He may be doing. Maybe we don't think God loves us because we don't have the earthly possessions others have. Maybe we just cannot see how God could possibly bring any good out of what is happening to us.

Pulliam believes we desperately need the Word of God when we face the hard parts of life. Each devotion includes a verse or two from the Bible, an encouraging devotion, a Scripture passage to read, a written prayer of response, and a question or two for reflection. Readers can also find supplementary free materials, like a companion journal, at www.unblindedfaith.com. Also at that site is a link to intensive online courses she offers.

Pulliam is a life coach and it shows in this book. Her devotions are well written, are encouraging and enlightening. I appreciate her emphasis on the truth of the Word in correcting our wrong thinking about God and His actions. There are good devotions on having a right view of God, such as on God's love and acceptance. There are good devotions on thee life of the believer, such as on suffering well, trusting God, having His heart, and much more. One of my favorite devotions was about our worth, that it is from God alone and not from focusing on self-esteem.

I recommend this book to Christians who desire to be challenged in their beliefs about God, the Bible and living the Christian life. You'll get good teaching and encouragement based on biblical truths.

Food for thought:
“May I long for Your ways more than mine.” (Loc 857/1917)
“Trusting in the Lord isn't about changing the outcome. It's about learning to trust God with the outcome, no matter what.” (Loc 1119/1917)

I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.

This is a great devotional written by a lady who clearly holds God at the centre of her heart. It helps that Elisa humbly shares her own experiences to help the reader identify with where they are in their walk. With this devotional I have a friend, cheerleader and encourager on my Christian journey.

The Read, Respond and Reflect are best done with a journal in mind to make the most effect of this book - there is a journal you can buy with it that’s especially helpful.

But even on the go, it’s good to be able to dip in and out and still find a nugget that would speak to you.
I will be purchasing this book for other friends as I know that it will be a great help for them.

Reading this devotional, Unblinded Faith, has changed my life. Each devotional begins with a Bible verse, followed by a thought provoking story from Elisa’s life that is so relatable to my own life. She then takes the story and asks soul searching questions that has caused me to reflect on my life. Following the devotional reading, there is a passage of scripture to read, so that you can read the opening verse in context followed by respond and reflect sections. This is more than just a devotional to “go through the motions” with when reading it. The devotions stick with you and I found that I have a stronger desire to deepen my relationship with the Lord and read in His Word. The quote, “A life without risk forsakes the opportunities for our faith to grow,” was one of my favorite quotes. It ministered to me right where I am at in my life right now. Each devotional points us to read in the Bible and allow the blinders to fall off of our eyes, so that we will learn all that God has promised to each one of us.

If you are looking for a new devotional to deepen your relationship with the Lord, I highly recommend this book. There is also a Journal that you can purchase that would make a great addition to your time in the Word.

I was part of the launch team for this book and received an advance copy for my honest review of the book. I have enjoyed this devotional so much that I have purchased additional copies to give as gifts.

Simple and raw.

The gospel is simple, yet the truth of it is profound. Elisa takes the simplicity of the gospel and weaves it with hope throughout each page. The rawness and transparency of Elisa's story is engaging and provides encouragement - as the Lord has worked in her, he will also work in each of us.

The truth of scripture is at the forefront of the devotional and it is evident that Elisa's desire is to usher us as readers in to a deeper relationship with Jesus through lessons she has personally learned in her time spent in the Word.

Each day includes a scripture reading and a question that challenge us to go deeper in our faith and relationship with God. Questions are ones an accountability partner or mentor would ask and tie beautifully into the scripture and theme for the day, leaving room for personal growth and reflection. If the devotional is not enough, she has packed it full of access to helpful resources that are easy to download and implement instantaneously, allowing us to decide how far we would like go.

Over all, Unblinded Faith is a beautiful, well written devotional. Whether you have been walking with the Lord for decades or just starting out, this will bless and inspire you in your faith.

Unblinded Faith by Elisa Pulliam

This 90 day devotional is full of encouragement, personal stories, scripture and questions that challenge you to look at aspects of your life in order to allow you to dig deeper into God’s Word. It is deeply rooted in God’s truth. The devotionals are short, but pack a real punch that allow you to go as deep as you want in order to find yourself and to allow God to speak truth into your life.

Elisa weaves her personal stories into each devotional in such a way that it allows the reader to see that God’s presence was there all along, guiding her towards the light in all things. Her stories show her transparency and her brokenness, and how God has worked in her life and in her heart to lead her to a Christ centered life. Her words inspire hope and remind us to believe in God’s promises.

I’ve been beyond blessed by the words within these pages and have formed a deeper relationship with God in the process. I highly recommend this beautiful, inspiring, thought provoking devotional.

I received an advanced digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I can’t think of a better devotional for someone who wants to review the basics of the faith than this one. Unblinded Faith is written in a warm, friendly voice. The author tells plenty of personal stories, which draws you in. I can see a new Christian or someone who didn’t grow up in the church getting a lot out of this book, because it clearly explains Bible truths in a welcoming way.

She uses colorful illustrations from everyday life as lead-ins for biblical beliefs. For example, she tells a story about refinishing old chairs and other furniture for her home. Then she says, “I’m reminded that God is about the business of redeeming our lives for His purposes. Even if someone else might consider us worthless. Even if we feel like nothing but a throwaway. God is our great Rescuer.”

I like her girlfriend-like tone and fun stories. Each devotion is brief and easy to digest. It contains a scripture reference for further reading, a written prayer, and a reflection question. Great for busy women who don’t have a lot of time on their hands, but want to learn more about God’s Word.

I received a complimentary copy of Unblinded Faith from Netgalley.

Unblinded Faith is one of the best devotionals I have gone through in a long time. The daily devos are short and to the point, but are so packed with personal testimony from Elisa, clear Gospel truth, and chances for deep self-introspection that you feel like you've done major groundwork in just a few minutes. Paired with the Unblinded Faith Journal, where you are able to write out your personal responses to prompts and personal connections to scripture listed in the daily devotionals, this is truly a life-changing book. This devotional helps to make sense of realistic day-to-day experiences and helps shed God's truth and love in each circumstance. Whether you are someone who has been walking with the Lord for many years, a new believer in the faith, or someone who has entered into relationship with Jesus but has wandered away for a season - Unblinded Faith can and will speak to you personally. I am personally grateful for Elisa for sharing her gift of writing and communication with us as she pours out the message God has placed on her heart in these pages.

I received an advance copy and now my own original copy of this devotional and journal. Love this book. Reading "Unblinded Faith"Unblinded Faith: 90 Days of Believing God’s Word has really opened my eyes to the love and grace of a Father I have truly only just began to understand. As a Christian my whole life, I have always thought of myself as having a relationship with my Savior. But as I read and lean not to my own understanding but to gain a loving relationship I am realizing how much I have needed a book like this. Thankfully knowing that the Father takes us in any state we come to him is wonderful feeling. Like Elisa says, if you crave unshakeable hope you will find a path daily in the words and devotions of #UnblindedFaith. Thank you for leading me closer.

I received an advanced copy of this book, and I'm so glad I did.
This 90 day devotional is just what I need to both kick-start my day and also get me digging deeper into my faith. It's a great blend of the basics--who, what, why--and heart-piercing questions that require honesty and action. I especially like that each devotional centers around a passage or whole section of verses rather than a single verse. It gives context and weight to the Scripture.

I recommend this devotional for both seasoned believers and those new to or interested in life with Jesus Christ. I've been a Christian for 20 years, but oh my soul needed these reminders of what I know to be true so that I can keep Living In Truth!

Unblinded Faith is an amazing devotional that takes you deeper into the Lord’s Word. Each day Elisa's shares with you the truth of scripture and how the Lord has worked in her life. At the end of each story, there is a scripture reading and a question that relates to her story and takes you even deeper into your relationship with the Lord. Unblinded Faith brings you hope through Elisa’s experiences that she has learned through her own walk with God, and encourages us that through our own faith the Lord will also work in us. Even more helpful is the resources that are easy to download and start using right away. This devotional has helped me draw closer to Jesus and is one that I will use over and over again.

I received an advanced copy of this devotional and am loving it. It is one I will keep close by and go through again and again because it is short, practical, and creates growth.
In this 90 day devotional Elisa Pulliam uses stories to awaken your thoughts to practical things in life. I like the process she lays out for you to walk through with sharing a scripture then a response and finishing with a reflective question.
Unblinded Faith is easy to read but takes you into deep thought. Oh to walk with eyes wide open. I will be sharing it with friends as I think it will be a great asset to growing in your walk with Jesus.

Encouraging and Growth Building Devotional. Elisa, as a life coach, brings a depth to her writing that addresses our unmet feelings and unwanted thoughts. She gives scripture that highlights the days thought, then poses a question with an answer that moves me beyond my stuck place, leading me back into scripture, before a beautiful prayerful response, concluding with a reflection that allows me to journal where I have been and where I want to go. Elisa, shows her understanding of how i think as a woman, and then stretches me to see the better I can choose to live in, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

This 90 day devotional is exactly what I needed.
Her daily devos are short, but they sure do pack a wallop that is full of God's poignant Word.
Just about every day that I've read it, I've experienced that sharp intake of breath and the "Oh wow", where I grab my pen and want to jot down every thought-provoking thing in the accompanying journal book (there is plenty of room for all of those thoughts!).
What a fantastic journey she has taken me on through her biblical references and serious insights.
Unblinded Faith. Yes. That's exactly it.
Thank you #elisapulliam .

This devotional was so thought provoking--yet completely understandable! I loved the prayer at the end of each day, in fact have mirrored a couple on in my daily prayers. Each day, you get in to the scriptures--digging in--not just reading a quick verse. Elissa's practical examples and life stories make you feel like you are not alone. Thank you for this amazing book!

This book has really opened my heart to areas in my life where I was trying to block things out. It wasn't intentional on my part, just one of the ways I was working against the good God wants for me. It shows ways to strengthen a person's relationship with Jesus. Elisa encourages the reader to dig deeper into scripture and to draw closer to the Lord. Get ready to take your blinders off!

I love devotionals and when I saw this pretty cover, I really wanted to read it. But it's not just pretty on the outside. I loved the encouragement on every page. It gives you hope as well as something to ponder during the day.

Each of the 90 devotionals is short and quick to read, but there are questions for personal reflections and some Bible references to go deeper at the end of each devotional. Each chapter focuses on one verse. They are wonderful reminders of how we can trust God and helps you not to forget his promises. They are often illustrated by short anecdotes from the author's personal experiences. Even if you're really busy and you don't have much time for your quiet time, you'll always have time for one of these short chapters.

If you like devotionals or you are looking for one to start with, I'm sure that you'll like it. I enjoyed it very much. It would also make a great gift for your girlfriends. Very much recommended.

Unblinded Faith is a 90 day devotional that helps you dig deep into God's word in small, bite-sized pieces. It will help you stay centered on truth in the midst of a noisy world. Each day's devotional gives you an opportunity to hear from Elisa, read scripture in context (not just 1 or 2 verses), respond to that passage, and then reflect on the passage. Instead of simply being told what to believe about the scripture, Unblinded Faith challenges you to go deeper and truly consider the truth and how it impacts your everyday life.

This book is a perfect gift for any woman who wants to stay grounded in the truth of God's word.

I really enjoyed Unblinded Faith: 90 Days of Believing God’s Word. There was a nice balance of the author's life and experiences (not too much, which I've found to be a problem with one or two other devotionals I've read). The sections (days) and their corresponding Bible readings are a good length--not too overwhelming for this busy mom. There are also prayers (respond) and questions (reflect) with each day.
