Honor Thy Boss: Love Ain't Easy
Trust and loyalty are two key factors that Boss, the king of the mean Detroit streets, live by. I NEED MORE 💕💕💕
I loved Choyce! She was truly about her business and her first priority was her baby girl. After the relationship with her first love ended badly, she raised her standards when it came to the men entering into her life. She put herself first. Even when Boston stepped to her, she demanded respect. And if he couldn't respect that, he could kick rocks. This remained true throughout the book, without compromise. I remember Choyce being hurt by Boston's decision to still "break up" with her after she owned up to her mistakes; he was downright disrespectful. And you know what she did? She disciplined his behind, held her head up high, and walked out of his life. She didn't stoop to his level or beg him to love her back. No m'am; it took her long enough to learn to love herself and she wasn't going to allow anyone to erode that.
Great, great story. The way the book ended was hurried, but it didn't take away from the vibe of the characters or the overall flow of the story. I cannot wait to see what Boston decides to do now that Choyce is in trouble. Will he admit to himself that he loves this woman and go after her? Or will his stubbornness get in the way?

OMG this great read I really enjoyed Boss and Choyce
Choyce meets Boss as at a stripper club he grabbed her around the waist when .When her trifling baby daddy Turk called her out her name made him apologize for his rude behavior. Boss was single father Giselle his baby mama was strung out on drugs and slept with his brother. Boss is older brother Hendrix hated him and was always hating on him and in competition with him over everything. Turk was feeling some kinda of way about Boss seeing Choyce him having his daughter around when choosing not to be a father. Hendrix black mailing the baby mama to get information so he can put him in prison. Boss finds Truelle is Choyce father and tried to make him thinking something was still going on between them he was her first of everything at 15 -years old She gave heart to a dog her out. Boss cut her and refused to listen to her and they end not talking to each even though they had feelings for each other. She started caring about his daughter and all hell break loose. Freedom Boss sister has a few secrets she a affair with Boss right-hand man Johann got pregnant abort the baby.. Johann and his baby mama had a huge argument and she left in a jealous rage and got in a terrible accident and killed her and her kids. He blamed Freedom and cut her off and refused to love anyone else. Han ran through women, like they were disposable tampons, because only one woman held the key to his heart. Han was an amazing god father to Boss's daughter, and he was one of those best friends that were down for you like four flat tires. However, Han suffered from PTSD, post traumatic stress disorder, and he refused to seek any type of therapy, or any type of help for that matter. Han didn't realize, that if he didn't get the help that he needed, his condition would only get worse. The relationship that Han had with Freedom, was a complete mess. It was only a matter of time before Boss found out why Freedom wanted to come back home.
I loved Choyce for Boss, but he wouldn't even admit that he loved Choyce. Instead of Boss taking the word of Turelle, he should have known what type of woman Choyce was, just from being in her presence. Freedom even knew that her brother loved Choyce, but Boss was too stubborn to even admit that he was completely wrong for how he treated, and came at Choyce. Boss gave Turelle exactly what Turelle wanted, and that was to create tension in between Choyce and Boss. I was so disappointed that Boss fell for Turelle's deadbeat, hating behind.
It was only a matter of time before Boss gave Hendrix what he deserved. Hendrix not only terrorized Kimbae, but he did the same thing to Gianna. Hendrix wanted to be Boss so bad, that he injected drugs into his own niece's mother. It was sad to see the extent that Hendrix went, to try and bring his own brother down. There's not any doubt in my mind, that Hendrix is behind the kidnap of both Choyce and Gianna. I really believed that Turelle was working alongside Hendrix, but they will soon get the reaction they both wanted from Boss. What a way for Charmanie to start off in this first, two part series!

Great book
Loved the book it. It not like your normal drug dealer and his many woman. Boss is an single father trying to take care of his family, yes he is a "boss", but he puts his family first and wanted to make a family for his daughter. Once he met Choze he had that but despite them being in love with each other he feel she should have told him about her Bd being apart of his team. By time things come out both sides was invested but Boss couldn't get over and let his pride get the best of him. With Boss and his bf running things enemy's come but who would have thought the biggest enemy being Boss older brother Hendrix. Has put some things into play about Boss and once he finds out will it be to late. Is he the behind both his ex crackhead bm or choze the girl he can a see a future with. The book has so much going but not muchbyou can't get up. From Boss right-hand man being in love with Boss sister but their history makes it hard to push forward. I can't wait for part 2.

Good Read
I can't stand that fool Turke. That man worked my nerves with his bs. He couldn't get to Choyce so he decided to find another way to mess with her. He was beyond dirty for how he treated her and her daughter. Baby Girl did nothing to him at all, but yet he still did her wrong. Choyce had Jamaica on her side throughout this entire book. She had her back when nobody else did. Han and Boss were something else. They were more like brother instead of best friends. I couldn't stand Boss's hating brother. That man was so jealous of Boss and it made absolutely no sense. I don't trust Gianna too much, but only time would tell if she was on some sneaky stuff. With the way things are going I don't think things are going to end well. Let's hope Boss makes the right decision in book two.

This is my first read by this author, but definitely not my last. I really enjoyed this book and loved the storyline. It flowed really well and moved at such a steady pace....page-turner. I couldn't put it down and still wanted more. Held my attention from the very first page to the very end and that ending. Very well written and loved the characters they were well developed and showed growth. It was so much drama, action, lies, deceit, secrets and betrayal that made it a interesting read. On the PT.2 to see how this all unfolds after that ending. Job well done Charmaine Saquea.

OMG what the heck
Choyce and Boss have so much darma to be together but jealous, and crazy baby daddy Trelle. Boss baby mama Giannia who was hooked on drugs who wasn't much of a mother to Giselle. Giannia who slept with Boss brother Hendrick has put him darma and pain. Hanna who is Boss best friend who is in love with his sister Freedom. Boss mother is very sick who is dieing she has hepatitis C. Who has kidnapped Choyce and Giannia will get to them in time.

Gianni has done so much.. she’s not trustworthy to me. Turelle was a punk all the way around. Didn’t acknowledge Zamine until Choyce had someone else. Hendrix jealousy of Boss is going to led to his downfall... Can’t Wait!!! Freedom and Hans situation is interesting.

Good Read
Love this. It was too short and I wish it was a standalone. I wish her friend had a better storyline. I was kind of hoping her friend an Boss's friend got together. Don't like him with Boss's sister. Great ending though. Hope we don't have to wait too long for part 2

Love is a great thing

Interesting read
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and it flowed effortlessly. I can’t stand Turk and Hendrix. Can’t wait for Boss to deal with them. To me, Boss acted a little immature towards Choyce.. but say what. Nice storyline.
