John Greenfield wakes up in his woodbound cabin and, suffering from a bad hangover, wonders what he's doing with his life. He lives in a small village full of small-minded idiots, works as a hunter, and knows he can live a better life. But nothing seems to compel him enough to do so.
That all changes when, out hunting for food that morning, he comes across an unconscious, wounded female demon. And her pursuers are nearby. Unwilling to leave her to her fate, he brings her back to his cabin and heals her. When she awakens, the demoness, Yelena, after determining that he isn't going to attack her, asks a favor. She needs to get back to her own realm, but the magic needed to travel between worlds will take close to one week to gather, and she obviously needs somewhere to hide and recuperate.
John agrees to let her stay, and as they begin getting to know each other, things start getting very hot and heavy, and John finds himself falling for someone he never thought possible...
DEMONESS contains action, adventure, and a lot of graphic sex scenes between a man, a demoness, and any beautiful wom e n who cross their path.
I am Misty Vixen (not my real name obviously), and I imagine that if you’re reading this, you want to know a bit more about me.
In the beginning (late 2014), I was an erotica author. I wrote about sex, specifically about human men banging hot inhuman women. Monster girls, alien ladies, paranormal babes. It was a lot of fun, but as the years went on, I realized that I was actually striving to be a harem author. This didn’t truly occur to me until late 2019-early 2020. Once the realization fully hit, I began doing research on what it meant to be a harem author. I’m kind of a slow learner, so it’s taken me a bit to figure it all out.
That being said, I’m now a harem author!
Just about everything I write nowadays is harem fiction: one man in loving, romantic, highly sexual relationships with several women. Nowadays, I tend to write more human on human stuff, but I still have a lot of non-human ladies in mind for the future, so if that’s your thing then stick around.
I’d say beyond writing harems, I tend to have themes that I always explore in my fiction, and they encompass things like trust, communication, respect, honesty, dealing with emotional problems in a mature way…basically I like writing about functional and healthy relationships. Not every relationship is perfect, but I don’t really do drama unless the story actually calls for it. In total honesty, I hate drama. I hate people lying to each other and I hate needless rom-com BS plots that could have been solved by two characters having a two minute conversation.
Well, like any Misty Vixen's stories it was focused on the sex, but contrarily to some of the author book there is romance here. It's also about rising against bigotry and ignorance, I really liked the uplifting feelings that the story elicited in me. And well, I like devil girls!
This story kind of goes against Misty Vixens normal pattern. She normally writes about younger men with older supernatural creatures. She also mainly writes about multiple sex partners. In this story the main character is 30 years old, much older than her normal main male character. He also has had a decent amount of sexual experience, which also breaks the mold. The biggest difference is that this is more of a 1 on 1 love story.
The story follows John, who is somewhat of a loner/outcast living in a rural community. He doesn't like the way the other people in town treat the non humans. He has a thing for non-humans and is very attracted to those women. He stumbles across a demoness who has been shot with 3 arrows and is being hunted. He knows there are different types of demons and that not all of them are evil. He is pretty sure that this demoness is not evil and he makes a snap decision to help. He takes her back to his cabin and protects her/heals her. Demons came from a different dimension and it takes a lot of magic to cross those dimensions. She wakes up and despite some weariness at first, they start to get along. She asks if she can stay for about a week so she can get enough magic back so she can go home. During their time together they get rather close and get it on, or in other words
I enjoyed the emotions between John and Yelena. This was a good story.
I rather liked this story. It was long enough to feel satisfying with enough action (both sexual and otherwise) to keep me entertained. There's not a significant plot like a hero trying to save the world, but it's definitely more put together than most of the other erotic stories I've read as of late. It's a tale of true love (and a random orgy) between a demoness and a human. The trials and tribulations that they must overcome. Sike. It's about humans being human and hating everything different then they are and a guy that doesn't fall into that group. MC finds a hurt demoness and well, things progress (as well as their feelings) from there. Like I said, this is no block buster novel, but if I had to compare it to something IRL, it's more like the porn movie Pirates. There IS a plot, but let's be real, that's not the real reason anyone watched it (unless you got the Rated R version and if you did....I'm sorry.) There's enough story and sex in this to be a decent story. The pacing is pretty fast, but then again, if it wasn't it wouldn't be that much fun.
Basically, this story read like a backstory for a pair of Dungeons and Dragons characters, with a decent amount of explicit (human/demoness) heat built in. Fans of fantasy RPG-based erotica will like this the most (although the demoness turned out to be quite a bit less, well, demonic, than many might expect).
I loved this book from start to finish the author did a great job with the characters and the story that is why I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars can't wait to read the next book.
Found I couldn’t put it down and cruised through it in less than 24 hours. Great universe you have created Ms. Vixen, looking forward to future installments.
Thank you for creating a hero that isn't the usual alpha male. I read too many PNR that focuses on a normal woman with a big strong, usually dominating, man who protects her. It's great to see a book where the romance is more a equal partnership and they protect each other. With a nice guy who takes the womans feelings into consideration first. I also love the anti bigotry/ anti racist feel to it. It a very cute little story about accepting someone different from you.
A fun and fairly light-hearted romp with an MC who is very much a "guy next door" and not some kind of superbeing blessed with godly stat rolls. John definitely comes across as quite a sweet guy and the author does a great job of writing Yelena in such a way that her anxiety about the position she's in doesn't overpower the story and does wane in a fairly natural way.
This is a light, fun series of erotic adventures in a sort of TTRPG style setting. There's not a whole lot of story, just some fairly routine quests, but a number of well-drawn and likeable characters that make it enjoyable.
Note the books are very short. All four in the series between them add up to the length of one longish novel. (Oh- apparently there's a fifth; I haven't got to that).
A very good tale of two people finding each other and falling in love! Needed a break from all the MC's trying to influence the whole world and having that major impact. Very good writing Miss Vixen! Looking forward to reading the rest of your work!
If you're looking for a simple story with mostly 2 characters meeting, falling in love, and fucking, then this is great. It's not too serious of a plot, characters are good but don't develop much.
The author writes pretty good sex scenes. The girl is a bit of a masochist.
Its always nice to sit back and read another Misty book i must confess especially a new series so thanks again for a job well done I sound kinda posh lol
