Cave of the bookworms is about a young boy that had a dream of a cave that had a man eating book worm inside of it. and he woke up in his dream and he was riding his bike and he found the cave and started climbing down it and when he reached the bottom it looked like the cave from his dream so he went deeper inside of the cave and saw the bookworm. the bookworm turned and saw him so they got into a big chase and he saw the library of doom guy and the boy helped him, because he was stuck in a bunch of slime and got him out of it. so then they fought of the giant bookworm and they killed it. the boy was actually having a dream the whole time and he woke up.

Cave of the bookworms was a very short book it only had roughly 30 pages so i finished it in under 5 minutes. every page had probably at the most 15 words so it is a very easy book to read. every page had a few words then it had a picture to show what happened on that page.

In my opinion i liked this book because it was very easy to read and it was fairly interesting to read.

So cave of the bookworms was an ok book i would rate it 6 out of 10 because it was very short with pages and with words but it was still pretty interesting. i would recommend it to a third grader because it is just too short for anyone above third grade.

A young boy sneaks out of his house at night to find the Librarian of the Library of Doom captured by a giant worm! Can he save the Librarian in time? The text and pictures really drive the story and will hook in reluctant readers. It is a bit creepy, so sensitive youngins might want to steer clear. There are writing prompts and questions in the back which would make it a great book club selection. Love this series!
