I, Kaelin Richards, am paying for college by alternative means. Operating under the name Untouched Mystique, I webcast myself getting off.

I blame my bastard father. At nineteen, he gave me three options:

1.Get a degree of his choosing and give him half of my earnings for life
2.Marry his friend’s son and become a subservient wife
3.Get out with only the clothes on my back

You guessed it! I walked. Now my life is simple and low-key…until my roommate, Trent, is attacked, leading me to discover his brother isVan Meyers—the classmate I adore, the new CEO of the company I’m interning for, and the online client that sends my body soaring with pleasure. He’s the only person who has the power to save me from my crazed fan, but can I trust Van to protect me without breaking my heart?

All I want is to be elusive, to live my dreams and not lose my heart in the process.

NOTE: This book is intended for mature audiences, age 18+ due to strong sexual content and language. If you enjoy overpowering romances, heated sexual scenes, edge of your seat suspense, with a touch of mystery and thrills, then this book is for you, then you'll probably enjoy this book. This is a standalone book. It has a happily ever after (HEA), no cliffhangers, and a dual POV. If you enjoyed The Need Series and Titan Security, you'll like that I've brought back a couple of characters. You don't have to read anything else prior to the book or after it.

I grew up in a small town in South Florida and moved to Central Florida to attend college. I married my friend, love, and soul mate and still reside in the area with our amazing son, and a feisty, four-legged little doggie boy.

In my books, I draw on my background in healthcare, business, and science, along with my husband’s engineering and wireless technology knowledge.

I love to cook and create in the kitchen and on the bbq grill. I sometimes lose myself in a song at the piano. I enjoy crafting, amusement parks, and the beach!

Love, Suspense, and some Sex to make things just right and mix. You get one amazing story by a truly gifted author. I loved each page and when it was over I smiled and knew I found another author I defiantly am adding to my favorites list.

I received an advanced readers copy of Elusive by Cynthia P. O'Neill in exchange for my honest review.

This is the first time I'm reading a book by Cynthia P. O'Neill and I can honestly say after reading that this will not be my last book by this author.

This book had amazing writing that grabbed my attention and kept me guess the whole way through. It's marketed as a Romantic Suspense and comes with this warning: NOTE: This book is intended for mature audiences, age 18+ due to strong sexual content and language.

The story is about two people who are put into such horrible positions growing up by the one person that should love them unconditionally, their father. But despite the hardships they've personally faced they are coming out the other side. This story has so many twists and turn to it that you literally need to hold on! It's an amazing stand along novel with a happy ending for two tortured souls who desperately need a happy ending.

I loved the writing of this story, I love the character development, the love story build in around all off this craziness. The chemistry between the characters was hot, and the twists I didn't see coming. Definitely an incredible read to add to you TBR list. Can't wait for the next book!

This was such a great book! There is just enough erotic/spicy sex between the MC that kept things popping yet it was done with a deft hand. There is suspense and mystery that swirls around Kaelin Richards and she is being protected by Van Meyers but she doesn’t know it at first. I loved their love story and all they have to overcome. There are some many layers, so many twists and turns that I was immediately hooked on this story. The characters are developed quite well, along with the supporting cast of characters. There is a twist to everything and the ending was phenomenal. I cannot wait to read what this author has next. I enjoy all her books and this was fantastic!!

As always a great story with characters you want to fall in love with. Van and Kaelin are meant to be together from that first look at the coffee shop. Watching their story unfold and the suspense thrown in to create the obstacles meant to test them is what makes the story the kind you cannot put down until the very end. The story gives you the confidence the characters will be together forever but the edge of the seat twists and turns give you those moments of doubt and heartbreak before lifting you back up. This is definitely a must read...again and again.

I have yet to read a book by Cynthia that I do not like. I love the way that she writes and the stories that she produces.

Elusive is an awesome story about Kaelin and Van. The story of their families and the treatment they received from their fathers. When they first met, it was love at first sight. BUT -- people were out to make sure that love did not grow. I don't write spoilers -- but I will say that once you start reading this book - you will find it hard to put down until you reach the ending.

Please keep writing Cynthia!!!

The biggining of this story had great potential and The blurb had me quite intrigued, but it totally lost my attention with all of the repetitive retelling throughout the rest of the book. It seemed really draggef out to finally get to the end. I also found several typos and found myself getting confused and having to re-read pages. I REALLY wanted to like this story but it was lost to me. It had great bones, but it needed serious cutbacks.

Well this was not my favorite book. I found it long and wordy and very repetitive. The author had a great idea for the story but I feel she had too many elements added in to keep it flowing smoothly. It repeated things often and I found myself skimming the book.
The first 2 chapters had my interest but sadly it didn't last long. The ending was ok. I just feel it could have come sooner.

After she took option 3 Kaelin has been earning money by carnal ways. Take her and a webcam and that's her income. She lives with her friend Trent and the the hots for someone he knows. This is not for the faint of heart and it is rated 18 and above for a reason. It will make your kindle smoke if your not careful. Very good book.
