The Moon has given Gianna a most... questionable... reward: a choice.
Lord-Alpha Gabel of IronMoon, the Moon's Dark Comet, is still bound to her by a slumbering Bond. Furious at the Moon for Her betrayal, Gabel has sworn that he will reclaim Gianna as his own, or he will rip apart the cosmos itself.
Lord-Alpha Aaron of IceMaw, the Moon's Seneschal, intends to reclaim the Luna that was stolen from him by Gabel's blasphemy. Brilliant and cunning beyond measure, he has sworn he will never bow to any Alpha, and he will stop at nothing to thwart Gabel's ambitions.
With the SableFur on the brink of civil war, Gianna's power is fragile, and her time is limited.
Her choice will elevate one Lord-Alpha to King, and start a catastrophic war with the other.
Merry is a dark sci-fi and fantasy author that currently lives in rural Alabama. She enjoys tormenting her main characters and doing excessive research to make sure unrealistic things are as realistic as possible.
When she's not writing, she enjoys coffee, vodka, painfully bad movies of all varieties, documentaries, coloring books, and knitting.
This is one of those that I'd enjoyed the series enough to keep going, reading through the night so I could finish and find out what happened, and when I finished I wish I hadn't ever picked it up. Nothing like a headachy, groggy day from not enough sleep plus that pissy feel if you don't like the way an author tied up her story (completely her right, but didn't cut it for me).
Some put this authors books in Romance and RWA insists that all Romance have happy endings. This particular series is written as though happy endings are bourgeois. You stand forewarned. After getting through this series, I don't want to pick up another new author (for me the ending was that bad).
Did get good accolades on Wattapp and her followers like it - so it could be your style.
I feel weak and like I should cry. And also FUCK Aaron. he will be the one I sacrifice to the end. Also, Gabel, I like that guy, he's fucked but in a way I appreciate. Gianna has again, the raw end of the stick. I want Giabel babies. Hix will always be in my heart. Flint is super cool. The Moon can suck dick. Oracles need a chill pill. The wolves need a reality check. I like Ana's reality check in the beginning. I feel like I should rage in Gianna's sake and also Gabel for how he begun his life (again). (Liked it a lot, also cried, also, I am desperate for 4th) Bye.
Is a complete turn arround from the version we all know from Wattpad and it left me breathless specially at the end. I think that the way the events changes so drasticly gives not only a little hope for those who are cherring for a speciffic ship. We get to see more of Anna interacting on a different space just like on the previous book and get to understaind Flint so much more, which was something I really liked. And we get to see the internal conflict Betas have to face when interacting with their Alpahs on different scenarios, which I personally never thought about. Clever and the most heartbreaking ending. Especting the next book like no other
This book was sooooo good! Amazing shifter story with a such a satisfying ending. Sad to see that book 4 isn’t out yet and doesn’t seem to be coming either so I’m just gonna have to imagine my HEA.
I devoured these books within days. This series is like nothing I've ever read before and I read a lot of wolf shifter and fantasy books. The story is so unexpected and unpredictable. The female is strong and smart. The characters are unique. I'm disappointed however that there is no 4th book yet! I'd read them again, even though it is a story I won't forget in a very long time. These books are a definite emotional roller coaster, but that's when you know it a good story because you're so vested in the characters. A must read if you like wolf shifter books that are more than sex and fated mates. There is a little bit of sex and mates, but there is so much more to the story. A different spin on fated mates, pack life, choices, and destiny.
Epic Paranormal Series. Great plot line. This is not a romance story, but there is great love. The will of The Moon will put Gianna in great risk in each of these books. The Moon is angry of a past event & have placed these werewolves on a path to correct it. Characters are strong well developed. Don't pickup this book just before bedtime- you'll not get much sleep, if you're working the next day- have lots of caffeine ready to sustain you. I NEED the next book!
Gianna is the Balance Keeper. She’s the voice of reason among these stubborn Alpha males. The visions keep coming. Adrianna is AWOL. Wolves are fighting...
I’ve enjoyed this series as it’s very intelligent and not hyper sexual. Yet, we’re 3 books in with another in the works. How many will it take to find the resolution? I enjoy a great series, but I’m hoping this wraps up soon.
I like this story a lot would have went 4 stars but this is not the end the next book was suppose to be out in 2020. This is 2021 it’s why I don’t like to start series until they’re all out.
All three books in this series are amazing. I can’t say enough good things. It is original and the world, characters and imagery she creates are the unforgettable. I have read this series over and over.
Welp! That was A lot. Not sure how much this poor woman can take. Unfortunately I have to wait for book#4. I am so invested and suddenly I am stuck. This is terrible for me. I need book #4 now please.
I absolutely love this series. The unique story alone was a clincher, but the characters are amazing. The story is unlike any other. I can not wait for book 4.
It begins well, but somewhere it flounders off. In an attempt to stretch out the series (which actually feels pretty stretched out), a lot of plots and subplots were added that didn't go along well with the underlying storyline.
The background story kept changing, as if the author was trying to figure out the story as she went along (not always a bad sign), with no definite ending or direction in her mind. It didn't really work well.
I couldn't even get myself to actually finish the book, but the tad bit of curiosity that every story gets with it, propelled me to actually finish reading it. Towards the end it got staggering and slow,...
I liked this so much better than the original on Wattpad. The storyline makes much more sense and there is so much more character development. I like how Gianna becomes such a central point around which the future turns. I also loved how in this version Aaron isn’t the lovesick guy who would do anything for a mate, but instead puts his pack first by letting his opponents kill each other by kidnapping and marking Gianna. Can’t wait for the fourth book, hopefully the silvery sky bitch actually has a plan for the future.

This third entry is excellent, just like the first two.
The political maneuverings in this series entry left my mind reeling. Ravenell writes highly detailed, psychologically intriguing plots. And this one was amazing! This is one of the best paranormal series written in years. It has everything. Bad guys who are good guys. A true adult for the female mc (always a relief!). Plots within plots. All in a well built though crumbling world. Not your typical paranormal read. This is quality writing.
Loved the first two books, this is the third and I thought it was a trilogy but it's not. No ideal how many books in the series or when the next book will be written. I really wish authors would be clear to readers around how many books are in a series. I am disappointed, reading books should not be this difficult.
Great epic paranormal series. This is not a Romance book, but love develops. Very strong well developed characters. Great plot line. I just finished it & NEED the next book!
I read this book when it was still on Wattpad. It was my jam then and it’s still my jam now. Good read, nothing epic or life changing, but different and entertaining.
