This is my favourite Book ever. I read it four times and still can’t get enough of it. Silas is one of these characters you can’t get over. The conversations with Lynn are just stunningly beautiful and funny and I love, love, love it. Surely they both tend to be a bit morally grey but this is how life works I guess.
The situation they are in (turning into adults whilst struggling with having left the security space of childhood) is wonderfully described.
I have to admit that there is not too much actually happening in the book and it’s rather character driven. But if you don’t mind that too much you will fall in love with the most creative dialogues you’ve ever read. Nothing thrilled me more than Silas’ way of being anything but normal.
I would love to read another book of the author. If there are more characters like that in your head: please share them with us.
