n.b. I attended the exhibition which this catalogue and set of essays accompanies which may colour my perception. That said, if you're interested in the ancient Scythians I find it hard to picture a better volume on the subject. Well-written, engaging and accessible without being dumbed down, and filled with high-fidelity illustrations. Would recommend.
