Whoa, this was completely stunning! A five star bullet chasing thrill ride and I felt like I was there!

Jayne Blue was new to me, the fifth book was a first time ever read for this author. This incredible author is amazing. As mentioned I've never been to Port Azrael Texas, the keen detailed description she gives is captivating you can almost smell the sea salt in the air or hear the clanking draw bridge as it rises and lowers for the vessels below. Damn and the lights reflecting off the waters as the Harley chases the last of the fading sunsets.....equally astonishing! Everything about the Dark Saints Motorcycle Club is addicting. The brotherhood, hierarchies and the chain of commands, dayuuuum I feel like I'm apart of it, so real and life like.

What I also love about this writer is her amazing sexual build up, not rushed or hurried. The anticipation is very hot, so when it happens, again me the reader feels apart of it.

Moving onto the next steamy read in the series, it too good to not to. Happy reading MC buddies, enjoy the ride!

Axle ♥ Maya! Omg! I LOVED their story! Just the perfect motorcycle-club romance with a little bit of drama, violence, steam and the perfect ending! I enjoyed reading each and every page, I'm going to read the next one in the series soon for sure!

It's a fact that I loved Jayne Blue's Great Wolves series but I think this first book in the new series is the best one I've read yet. The H is the enforcer for a 1% club who has a dark past and has no qualms of doing what's necessary for his club. The h is a strong woman trying to leave behind a family that has always used her for their own purposes. What starts out as a mutual desire based on lust turns into a love story where the H is willing to give up his club/family for the h. It's one of the best MC love stories I've read in a long time. Really liked the secondary characters and I'm looking forward to many more stories of this club from Ms. Blue.

Really promising start to a potentially cracking series about The Dark Saints MC family.
Axel is the club enforcer. Maya is at College in the State and has a part time job at a bar to help make ends meet. Their paths collide and soon their instant attraction to each other becomes a potentially dangerous liaison.
Action, drama, romance and hot guys on motorbikes plus a really likeable heroine.....sign me up!

A new girl in town gets a waitress job while in school at a popular night club. Makes enough to support herself. She thinks she is doing great... the Uncle of the owners/manager makes a grab at her. She handles it but also a biker who just came out of the managers office steps in the help her. Even escorts her to her bus. Of course the girls at work aren't happy. When on break she sees something she shouldn't and goes to the police. Doesn't know who is who in the town.

Axle meets the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Tries to give her a ride but she won't let him. He figures out where she lives and pays her a visit. Just really getting to know her and she is thawing his heart. Pres comes to him with a problem that needs to be taken care of. As the enforcer he has no problem doing the job and promises to get it done. Then he finds out who it is. This person might just know more than she thinks she does.

This is a hot and sexy book with all the naughty bits. If this offends you... you might want to look elsewhere.

Wow what more can I say but that I love this author and her stories!

Great storyline, terrific characters including secondary, mystery, action and yes a deliciously sexy and sweet romance!!!!

I adored Axle and Maya. Once again perfect characters that were perfect for each other! Nothing better than when the h is as great as the H of the story! This author truly knows how to make the main characters so fantastic!!!!!!

I can't wait for the next story in this series:)

What a great read this was!
Axle is the club enforcer and nothing ever gets in his way of doing his job, in fact you can say that he really likes to do it. So when he goes to Cups, a trendy bar on the port to pick up his weekly package to bring back to the club he thinks its going to be all business as usual. In actuality it is except he meets Maya, a small town girl who is starting fresh. She is gorgeous in his eyes and he does everything that he can to make sure that she does not come to any trouble, including walking her to the bus stop after work, taking in her car to the garage so that it can be properly fixed. Imagine his surprise when his MC pass down the ruling that he has to kill her.

Maya is the good girl, the one who does the right thing. So when she sees her boss beating up someone who later turns up dead. She thinks going to the police is the right thing to do. Unfortunaltely that sets up a chain of events that has Axle unbeknowst to her coming for her head.
Axle can't bring himself to kill her so he brings her to his grandmothers farm that very little people know about. There they sort of live the simple life, they get to know eachother a bit, they relax, they have LOTS of naked fun time, but she knows that Axle is keeping something from her. Axle does everything in his power to keep the truth away from her and his club but when some of his club bodies find him at the farm and see that Maya is not only alive but there with him things start to get real interesting!
The club finally agrees that Maya is not the real problem but instead Junior is.
I really did enjoy this read, it was sort of a quick burn. I wish I could know more about Junior's mother. That seems like it would be a great story to tell!

I'll admit, one of the main reasons I purchased this book was because of the cover. I mean seriously have you looked at that man's eyes??!! Luckily as I bonus I got a story I enjoyed and characters I liked.

Maya left her home and moved to Texas for college where she got a job waitressing at a local bar. Axle is the enforcer for the Dark Saints MC. He is pulled to Maya instantly when he spots her across the bar and his protective instincts immediately kick in.

Maya and Axle were so good together. Neither of them were looking for a relationship, but it just kinda fell in their laps. As expected there's a little drama, but I was glad it was all resolved pretty easily.

Dark Temptation and Dark Honor are already up for preorder and will be the stories of Benz and Zig, Axle's MC brothers. I’m looking forward to more in this series.

As MC stories go,this was an enjoyable one. A mix of suspense,romance and bikers. Axle and Maya both had a childhood that wasn’t easy and has left scars. Murder and cluborders make life,and love,difficult for them. But there is a hea,don’t worry....it was a straightforward story with a few dark moments,but lots of romance.

no character connection

The story plot had potential but it just never got there. It felt like just reading a sentence at a time. Nothing captured me like a great book would. No character growth, no character connection and it was just boring.

Awesome MC romance book!!!

Axle is the enforcer for the Dark Saints MC and very loyal to his club, he considers them his family. Maya is working as a waitress at Cups, a restaurant run by the DiSalvo crime family. Axle sees Maya at Cups and something stirs deep inside him, he wants her bad. Maya is just trying to earn some money to help pay her college tuition and get away from her parents disfunctional marriage. One evening while working Maya sees her boss in the back alley beating up one of his employees. She is scared to say anything until a few days later the employee is found murdered. Maya wants to do the right thing, so she goes to the police to report what she saw on the night the employee disappeared. Little does she know that the detective she talks to is in her bosses pocket and tells him about Maya coming to see him. So Junior, Maya's boss goes to the Dark Saints MC to have them deal with Maya. Since Axle is the enforcer it falls on his shoulders to kill Maya in order to protect Junior and his club. Grab this awesome book today to see what happens. Will Axle kill her for his club or will he go against them and try to save Maya? This is an emotional, sexy, intriguing story and is definitely a must read.

Great new mc series full of action and romance.

Maya is living not that long in town for that long. Working at a restaurant she meets Axle. He is a biker and member of the Dark Saints MC
Totally not somebody for her, but she is attracted to him.
When she sees a crime happening, she does what every good girl would do, she goes to the police to tell them about it.
But this brings the just starting relationship with Axle in trouble, because this act places her on his killing list.
But he just can’t do it, so he hides her at his grandmothers and they are living there in a bubble of peace, till something happens again.

Maya finds out she is on Axle’s killing list and runs from him to the police, just when she thinks was this the right thing to do? Things turn even worse and she has to choose what to do next and if she can trust Axle after all?
And Axle has to choose what is more important for him, Maya and his love for her or the club who is his family?

Hot steamy romance with lots of action, suspense and enough bedroom action.

Looking forward to read more in this series.

A really good read, I quite enjoyed the start of this new series by Jayne. I loved getting to know these characters, they were fun to read about. I liked the interactions they all had with another and their loyalty towards each other.
I liked the Prologue, I thought it was quite interesting and it definitely had me intrigued for the rest of the story. I loved Axle right from the beginning and there were times I felt so heartbroken for him in some of his chapters with Maya. I loved how such a strong character he was. Maya was a bit up and down for me but by the end I couldn’t help but love her character. I thought her and Axle were so sweet together, I loved the interactions between them (some were very hot!)
There were a few parts in the story that were a little slow going for me but it didn’t take long for it to pick right back up and I did feel there were a couple unanswered questions towards the end (such a cute HEA!). I can’t wait to see what the next story tells with another MC brother

The start of another great MC series by Jayne Blue. This promises to be just as terrific as the Great Wolves MC series. Axle is the enforcer for the Dark Saints MC in south Texas. Maya is working at a bar under the protection of the MC. Axle feels protective of Maya from the moment he sees her dealing with unwanted advances. Although his first allegiance is to the MC, when he finds out that Maya is a witness to a crime that involves the owner of the bar where she worked and because of the connection between the club and the owner and his family, Axle is given the assignment to make the witness disappear. The club doesn’t know how Axle feels about Maya and this causes big problems for both of them. Get this book to read how they overcome the obstacles in their way and find their HEA. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily writing a review because I want to let others know just how good this book is.

This is a great start to another MC series from author Jayne Blue. WOW! Just WOW! Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. The characters are very well written with lots of suspenseful action, and plenty of hot panty melting scenes. Axle is the Enforcer for the Dark Saint’s MC; his job isn’t an easy job. Maya is a waitress at Cups; I love the introduction to her character from the start. Maya is a strong heroine; I loved almost everything about her. She has goals and she doesn’t let her family stop her from reaching them. I liked Axle’s character as well; I thought their scenes together were both sweet and intense. I can’t wait to read more about other club members in future books. If you like to read about MC’s like SoA, this is a great series for you. 4.5 stars

Awesome contemporary motorcycle/bad boy romance. Axle has grown up with the club and they've always been there for him. He is the club Enforcer. His job is to protect the club and members at all times. Maya works at a local club that the MC has business dealings with. Maya grew up the good daughter always seeing to the needs of her family and why she walked away from them. Axle is drawn to Maya but the MC comes first until he's order to make her permanently disappear. Axle has always followed his presidents orders until Maya. So he takes Maya and runs knowing the club will find and deal with both of them. Maya is unaware of his turmoil and decisions until she overhears a conversation between he and his brethren. She runs and trouble follows them both. This was a book that has suspense, intrigue, violence and keeps the reader turning pages. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Blue.

If you are a fan of this author’s work, then this book will not disappoint.

And will Axle be able to protect his woman, and his club?

Pretty good.

My main problems are:

They fell in love in like five days.

SHE CARRIED HER OLDER CAT IN HER JACKET ON THE BACK OF THE MOTORCYCLE. No carrier of any kind, not even one of those zippered breathable backpacks. Just like in her arms. For many many many miles. That's super illogical, has got to be traumatic for the cat, and extremely dangerous!

The damn trope where one MC eavesdrops on the other in a conversation, only listens until they hear a problematic, troubling statement, and then runs away, not hearing the rest of said conversation which corrects any misguided thoughts had that waited.

Other than those few rather irritating instances, the book was good. I like the club and am interested in potentially reading more of this particular series.

First off, I lurve MC romance...and this is an awesome example of a great one...drama, action, intrigues, and smokin' heat! Axle meets Maya while he's out working some club business...and he can't help but go back for more. Maya is smitten as well, she knows Axle is a bad decision, but she can't help but choose him. Trouble finds them both, and they have to trust each other, but can Axle make the hard choice between his club and Maya. Mega steamy romance, a twisty plot, and great characters make this a thoroughly enjoyable read...love Axle & Maya!

Axle Hart will do anything to protect his adopted family Dark Saints MC. He's their enforcer he does what no one else can with the blessing of president. He strolls into Cups find plenty of things that he doesn't like and will report back. Little did he know that his world was about to blow up in his face but he doesn't care. Holly Ballard escaped her family life in favor of being on her own making her own choices. Holly has always been the good girl but what she feels for Axle can't be denied either. When Holly witnesses something that she shouldn't have turns to the only person she trusts~Axle. Normally Axle had no problem with doing his duty for the club.
