I got introduced to the Austrian School of Economics through Dr. Ron Paul’s writings The Revolution: A Manifesto, the Liberty Defined: 50 Essential Issues That Affect Our Freedom, and End the Fed.

After reading Adam Smith’s An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations, Murray Rothbard’s The Progressive Era, and Niall Ferguson’s The Great Degeneration and Civilization: The West and the Rest, I thought I should read one of the Mises’ books before I read other economic books. Anyway, this is the book to read right after reading Marx and Engel’s trash (The Communist Manifesto).

Everything about the progressive era down to the contemporary politics and the current economic system makes more sense after reading/listening to this book.

Fantastic insight into the Austrian Economy School

This is a fantastic intro to the Austrian Economy and the work Mises. It covers very well done of the most important concepts and it's extremely relevant to our current political and sociological scenario. Recommended for all who are interested in politics and economy!
