Amelia was the most exasperating woman Jack had ever met. She was also a beautiful, pain in the ass but unfortunately, she was his new partner.
It would be better if she left Jack alone, but there's something to his recluse nature Amelia wanted to understand.
------------------------
Amelia had a chip on her shoulder and a secret to keep. She also had an unhealthy obsession with trying to prove herself, especially to those that intimidate her.
Jack was sexy, brooding and all man and didn't know what she has to hide.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is a HOT story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers! The story contains some mature themes and mild language. Must be over 18 to read!

This was a mess. The blurb and the story felt mismatched. Why is he called a bad boy? He's an agent.
The times are all confused-it starts near the end, then jumps around without notice including POVs. While the idea was interesting, the writing felt forced and dialogue awkward when it wasn't supposed to be.
Then it ended. I didn't realize this was a novella. After that were at least 10 more stories of similar length, except most were lesbian romances. I felt cheated.
Good idea but poor execution. I didn't like the writing style, half of the time I was confused because first you get the middle of the story, than the beginning, I didn't get further than that. The POVs were also mixed, there wasn't a Jack segment or Amelia segment that was just theirs, it's all jumbled up. It was pretty boring to me and I don't know if I'll ever pick it up again.
I am voluntarily reviewing Jack: A Bad Boy Billionaire Suspense by Robin Edwards for receiving an Advanced Reader Copy.

With all the drama, lies, deceit, betrayal, danger and suspense keeps you in a razors edge and complete attention on the tale. This is one action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, smooth flowing, page turning, thrilling tale that captivates from the start. The characters are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. Robin did an incredible job bringing this read to life. Fantastic job Robin, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

This was an enjoyable read with lots of suspense, action, murder, and intrigue to keep you wondering what will happen next. Jack works for the CIA and Amelia or Mel, who is Russian, infiltrates the CIA. Jack and Amelia become very close since he is her partner. Amelia is always trying to prove herself, and Jack thinks she is maddening, but a beautiful pain in his ass. What Jack does not know is Mel is hiding a secret that she does not want anyone to know. Will Jack find out what Mel’s secret is? This book has an interesting plot and dialogue, and it keeps you reading to the end to find out what happened—it will pique your interest.
To me, this book was so far off the truth that I could not stop myself from constantly comparing to the real world. The way things happen in this book would never have happened in real life.
If this was listed as fantasy then I might have been better at accepting the situations or conditions that people were in. These were just too far off.
He was with the mom and then the daughter, he is CIA and she hacks her way into the CIA, they fall in love, he arrests her, they stay in love, happily ever after.
Amelia joined the CIA to avenge here Uncle Nicolas's death but she met Jack West and her revenge plan takes a turn. Jack is a hardened CIA Director that tries to hide behind the brick wall that he has built around his heart. Amelia learns that Jack has a past with her mother Natasha/Maria but she does not know the extent of their relationship.
This was a good story. I liked the characters and their background stories. I feel that the book seems unfinished. There seems to be something missing. Hopefully it will flow into the second installment.
This has an intriguing storyline, but it doesn't make a lot of sense. Both Jack and Amelia have volatile tempers and clash constantly. Amelia is also aggravating and immature and has a loud mouth. Jack is also weak, he lets Amelia stampede over him. I was not at all impressed with this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.
Jack worked his way up the ranks in the CIA and was proud of what he has accomplished. Amelia/Mel cyber hijacked her way into the CIA as a double agent for the Russian mob. Falling in love with someone was the last thing on either of their minds, but they fell and fell fast and hard. Once Jack finds out Amelia is lying to everyone he has to decide if he will be able to forgive her. She has to decide if she wants the love of her life or to continue trying to prove herself to her family.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book It’s a short spy story. Usually, I’m not in this kind of story, but it’s a good one. It describes how two CIA’s agents, Jack and Amélia, fall in love. The problem (and it’s not a secret because it’s explained in the first chapter), it’s that Amélia’s parents are related to KGB. I liked the characters and their character, the way they are with each other.
The format of this book is different and interesting. It is a good quick read. It keeps you turning pages with the twist and turns . You can't help but stay interested. The characters both have pasts that influence what they currently do and how they move forward. Full of mystery, suspense, drama, chemistry, and spark. I enjoyed reading it. I had no problem following the timeline. Good CIA story.
I loved this book. Amelia feels like a nobody and unworthy of everything. Her adoptive parents tell her she's no good at anything. Jack has built walls so high around himself nothing will ever get through he needs to lock out all emotions as a FBI agent what he didn't want was Amelia being assigned as his partner she's brash and doesn't think before she acts. Will Jack and Amelia manage as partners. Can Amelia get Jack to lower his walls and prove she is worthy after all.
A well written short sexy and steamy beginning of a new series with mystery and surpises. Enjoyed the unexpected direction causing it to be hard to anticipate what comes next. It switches back and forth starting with a letter from Mel to Jack. She betrayed him even thou she loved him and takes you back to the beginning to see what lead to her to the betrayal. A loving and interesting steamy hot start. I voluntarily reviewed this ARC.
The story was a little disjointed and wasn't anything like the descriptive blurb. It was a short easy read that was somewhat enjoyable. The plot and the characters were not well defined but to be fair it was a short book and not enough time to do that. I voluntarily reviewed an arc copy of this book
I really enjoyed this story of Mel and Jack. The back story that linked these two and the unfolding story going forward were well executed. I have already pre-ordered the second instalment of this series and really look forward to reading that and the others yet to come. New author for me - I shall certainly look out for other books by Robin Edwards.
I received this book as an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review I absolutely loved the book and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great read job well done with writing really enjoyed it could not put it down loved it
This story had a lot of unexpected twists and turns. It was hard to anticipate what was going to happen next. This is a good read with steamy scenes, some mystery and surprises all in one package plus likeable characters.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This was an awesome romance book. It was filled with edge of your seat suspense, page turning mystery, and steamy sex scenes. I didn't want to put this down until I found out what happened. I loved the characters and their journey to each other. Recommended and a must read.
In this first book it gives you some of the background of the characters in the story line. It does start out with a letter to Jack who Mel betrayed, even thou she loved him. Then it jumps to the beginning of when Mel first came and what led up to her betrayal to Jack. Then finishes up to and after the letter. I do hope in the next book it will go into more detail on events and places at the time it is happening. No more back and forth between time lines. This can make it very confusing for some people.
