kiley is such a dork. if he would have explained things, she might have gone back to him. i just don't understand this theme of 'i love you, but i won't let you know. i just want to suffer in silence.' no wonder momo is indecisive. when things deal with more than one person, let them know what's going on! geez! this shouldn't be this complex. anyway, interesting tidbit, of all of the pictures you see kiley take, momo is the only one not in a swimsuit. funny, she's the one on the swim team, and yet she's the only one fully dressed.

Just 2 more volumes left in the series. These characters suck at communication. All of them are in a freaking love triangle and they get mad when the love interest(s) can't read their minds.

Hodnotím 62% Jazyk: Aj
Moc pěkná kresba, která se s každým volumkem zlepšovala. Jen se mi zdálo, že se někde v polovině změnily boty a trochu školní uniforma. Ale to je jen takový malý detail.
Zajímalo by mě, co měly naznačovat ty kresby na konci každé kapitoly. Momo na nich vypadala jako modelka, díky tomu vkusnému a draze vypadajícímu oblečení. Zprvu jsem si myslela, že to mají být nápovědy o tom, co se bude dít dál, ale vyšlo najevo, že s příběhem nijak nesouvisí. Což ze začátku vůbec nebylo jasná, takže mě to několik volumek hrozně mátlo.
Hlavní hrdinku Momo jsem ze začátku měla poměrně ráda, ale postupně se moje sympatie k ní pomalu mizely. Avšak mizely jen po krátkou dobu a můj vztah k ní byl stále mírně pozitivní. Obdivovala jsem ji za některá z jejich rozhodnutích a za to, jak zvládala nátlak od okolí. Někdy od čtvrtiny příběhu jsem ji najednou nechápala, dokonce jsem se nemohla dobrat k tomu, abych jí odpustila její činy, přestože tam byla zmínka o tom, že jí samotné přijde její chování divné.
Sae jsem nesnášela. Ze začátku to měla podle mě autorka v úmyslu, pak její chování začala omlouvat a my jsme jí měli odpustit. Pořád ale dělala špatné věci, díky kterým jsem ji nesnášela čím dál více. Úplně na konci se sice najednou chovala hrozně hezky, a dokonce pomáhala hlavní hrdince a ostatním. Dokonce i když udělala pár dobrých skutků, tak jsem jí nemohla odpustit, jelikož mi to nepřišlo uvěřitelné, aby se takhle zčistajasna změnila.
Příběh mě stále docela bavil i přesto, že tam byli krávoviny, které mě hrozně štvaly. A nepochopila jsem Momino přecházení od jednoho kluka ke druhému, protože to bylo kvůli prkotinám. Jako když se to stalo poprvé dalo se to poměrně dobře pochopit, ke všemu když to bylo i na delší dobu.
Žádnému z kluků jsem nefandila, neboť mi ani jeden nepřišel sympatický či aspoň dostačující. I když jsem asi měla radši Tojiho, jelikož to byla Momina první láska a zároveň mi to aspoň připadalo trochu opravdové.
Nečekala jsem, že tu budou i nějaké temné věci, které mě přinutí cítit znechucení nad lidstvem ( je ale fakt, že u mě to jde celkem snadno :D). Ale nevím, jestli je to plus či mínus, protože mi to nepřišlo moc uvěřitelné. Stejně jako to počáteční šikanování Momo. Ze začátku jak ji všichni nemají rádi, ale pak se najednou objeví holky, které řeknou, že za vše vždy může Sae, začnou se k ní všichni chovat hrozně mile a k Sae ošklivě. A to při tom od začátku věděli, kdo je k tomu podněcuje.
Obálky se mi nelíbí. Musím ale přiznat, že některé trochu dobře vypadají. Stále nechápu, proč tam Momo vypadá jako modelka. Myslím kvůli tomu oblečení a pózám.

There are only 2 more volumes after this one and I honestly am going to be gritting my teeth through them. Ughhh. Volume 8 continues the love triangle of Toji/Momo/Kiley with Kiley mourning the loss of his love. Except he makes zero effort to explain his side of the story; instead he acts like he ain't bothered and takes pictures of cute girls at school to sell. >_> Let's bank this as another reason why Toji is just...better. Momo's friends at first were having an issue seeing Momo come to school on Toji's arm but sided with her when she explained how Kiley ditched her at the train station with no explanation...and continues to ignore her. Despite Toji being warm and welcoming and honestly the perfect boyfriend, Momo can't shake her feelings for Kiley. I mean, just once in a manga it would be nice to see the good guy win the girl...because it's so obviously eventually Momo will break Toji's heart and go for the goofball, Kiley. That's not all...Sae reveals she's pregnant with Ryo's baby and he's, you guessed it, an ass about it. The volume ends with Kiley running away from Momo while crying instead of confessing his true feelings because reasons.

The story, the drama, and the emotional impact of everything was so much stronger in this volume. To be honest, it did (and still does a bit) bother me that Momo immediately started going out with Toji in the last volume, it felt too quick. I understand her feelings and why she did it, but it'll never fully sell me on the idea that it was okay. However, I really love the aspect of Kairi having to deal with the consequences of his indecisiveness (his behavior before deciding to meet Momo), and the fact that he should've prioritized communication with her about his feelings. It's also really nice to have Momo figuring out the truth of the situation at a nice pace, in past arcs it would take characters far too long to figure important things out. I mean, just look at the Sae/Momo/Toji blackmail storyline, that took forever! I just can't wait to read the final two volumes!!!
P.S. The cover for this volume might be my favorite, or at least in the top 5. Momo's outfit is so cute, and her hair and makeup look great.

YES MISAO DUMP HIM I HATE HIM SO MUCH!! WHEN SHE SAID "ACT LIKE AN ADULT"!!! I WAS SO HAPPY OMGGG. also Momo why did u let him leave?? He's crying and you just stare at him. Honestly I just feel bad for both fo these. Guys cause one of them has to be alone. If this wasn't a 2000s shojo I would have said that it would be cool if this ended in some sort of poly thing lol

On voit des choses, mais ça reste une majorité de non dits où on espère limite que l'autre va lire nos pensées pour que tout s'arrange. J'ai envie de les secouer et les enfermer dans une pièce pour qu'ils mettent tous les choses au clair.

Once again, poor, poor Kiley. He's been my favourite character in the series and in the previous volume and this one, you can't help but feel sorry for him.
He made one little mistake and sees his world crumbling down, and there's no-on there to pick up the pieces... I'm rooting for him to find happiness before the series ends...

Story: The perfect thing about this series is that it is a potential real life situation. There is bullying from the other people at school and misunderstandings set into a high school setting. This series is absolutely perfect for someone to read when they are that age and to realize that many people can make mistakes or take something the wrong way, especially in regards to relationships. There is a quite potent love triangle between Momo, a girl that gets bullied by others, Kairi (Kiley), a flirt of a guy, and Toji, a guy that is easily blindsided. It does not help anything that there is the slightly evil character of Sae that is always trying to get in Momo's way.
Drawing Style: One of my favorite things about the art style of Miwa UEDA is that she changes up the characters. Especially Momo, she always wears different clothing and has a different style of hair that is rarely seen in anime or manga.
Characters: The characters are highly in depth and developed throughout the series. They are all multi-dimensional with underlying reasons for how they come across and serious back stories that add to the series.
Overall: This is one of my favorite series by far, exceeding all of my previous expectations and blowing me away with the quality of production.

The first day of school is always full of surprises- especially when Momo shows up with Toji! Kiley pretends to be coll about it while Toji plays the ultimate understanding boyfriend...but it'll be a fight to the bone between the two for Momo's love. On the other hand, Karma is in full force when friendly foe Sae finds herself expecting the unexpected!
