Erin Bedford is an otaku, recovering coffee addict, and Legend of Zelda fanatic. Her brain is so full of stories that need to be told that she must get them out or explode into a million screaming chibis. Obsessed with fairy tales and bad boys, she hasn’t found a story she can’t twist to match her deviant mind full of innuendos, snarky humor, and dream guys.

On the outside, she’s a work from home mom and bookbinger. One the inside, she’s a thirteen-year-old boy screaming to get out and tell you the pervy joke they found online. As an ex-computer programmer, she dreams of one day combining her love for writing and college credits to make the ultimate video game!

Until then, when she’s not writing, Erin is devouring as many books as possible on her quest to have the biggest book gut of all time. She’s written over thirty books, ranging from paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and even scifi romance.

Also, third person is really weird when writing about yourself. Just putting that out there.

I have to admit that there were moments I wasn't sure if signing up to review an entire series was a good idea. However, I just finished the third book and I'm kinda glad that I did it. The series is amusing and entertaining and it are the perfect books to read in between the more heavier stories or to make sure I can meet my reading goals. I'm still waiting for the moment I grow bored with Bedford, as always happens when I read too much by the same author, but it's not there yet.

The third book in this series feels a little like a filler book. It's clearly a book that gets our characters from the previous book to the last book. They are dealing with the aftermath of what happened in the previous books and after the cliffhanger it's quite clear that the final big showdown is waiting for us in the next book. Does that make this third book boring? Not at all! A lot is still going on and I love how relationships and feelings are more established.

In this book Mary is once more growing more comfortable with her human skin. In the last book she was still struggling with losing her angelic abilities and becoming more and more human, but in this book she's starting to embrace it and to accept it. Slowly she's losing her innocence, but it makes her only more interesting and it's only easier to relate to her and the choices she makes. Especially since her choices, especially concerning the people she loves, get more dangerous.

I also really love Sid as a character and especially his struggles with his demon-half. I have to admit that I'm quite curious to see how Bedford is gonna "solve" the issue of that demon-side. After all, it's very much part of him and what's a relationship where you have to be afraid of one half of your partner for the rest of your life? However, I get the feeling that he's slowly getting more and more in control, so I can't wait to see how it ends.

And...I can't wait to finally see Heaven!

This was an exciting read. Mary, Tricia, Adara and Sid tried hard to catch the demons and right the wrongs. The demons however had other ideas.
I want the next book NOW please.

This series is absolutely amazing and unbelievably addictive!!! So many surprises that will most definitely catch you off guard!!! I think that's one of the reason I love this book so much, that and the author is uber talented and takes us on a journey everyone!!!

That s storyline starts not long after the last book ends and right from the first page you become hooked and you are not able to stop turning the pages. I live how vivid the descriptions in this book are, its so detailed that you can see yourself there in their world alongside the characters feeling everything with them. This tale is full of danger, action in spades, questions being answered but also more questions are revealed.

Reading about Sid could never get old for me, the more I read about him the more I want you know more. In this story he reveals more if himself and you can definitely understand his motivations as well as how he hopes and wishes his life could be. The more time that goes on, the more human experiences Mary is having and its a joy reading about her going through these experiences for the first time. Makes me wonder if she had the opportunity to go back to Heaven, would she? The other character that I haven't mentioned in my previous review and I love is Trish! I love how individual and unique she is as a person, she is not one to follow others, she has the inner strength to go her own way and I love that!!!

Such an amazing read and I can't wait for the next book!!! Such a must read book, series and author that I can highly recommend!!!!

Start reading a series in the middle - that's so me. Only I can start reading book one after book three.. but it tells a lot about the series if I got hooked without a proper intro, was able to follow through without obstacles, and totally enjoyed it so that I opened the first book now.
Mary is determined to capture Asmodeus and send him back to hell through a portal opened with Michael's dagger. But there are so many obstacles in front of her - her abduction by the good doctor, Madame Serena's death and Mary's imprisonment, and complications with Sid's demonic half. However, the strong angelic woman she is never gives up and fights her way through the demonic hordes and ill intentions.
I absolutely fell in love with this series now. Cold and detached angels now feeling emotions and experiencing human world, evil but devilishly handsome demons walking the Earth, and humans getting in the way as usual, oblivious to the supernatural world around. There were several moments when I did not know if I'll start laughing or give myself a facepalm. Adventurous, action packed, with many twists and kickass heroines, I truly enjoyed the book and devoured it in a couple of hours.

The Strength of an Angel

Are wonderful Erin has done it again... Her writing style in book 3 of The Mary Wiles Chronicles is fantastically wonderful. The main character Mary Wiles went to earth to find her Archangel Commander. Mary starts a Private eye business where she helps the police with there unsolved paranormal cases. Her young Secretary Trish is very helpful with what she does for Mary with her computer skills that are top notch. Mary's is an Archangel without her wings... they were cut off by demons when she was captured by the demons. Now Mary's main goal is to find her commander and go home to heaven. Then there is Sid the handsome 1/2 demon and 1/2 human and has the I wants for Mary. Did is also the son to the Demon of Lust...
While reading this book I found that I couldn't put it down... From the first page to the last the pages were always full of action... From chasing demons to helping her friends Mary is an awesome angel. I loved the personality she has along with her secretary's personality.. very spot on I would say.
A definite 5 star rating... I loved it... If you want to know more you will need to read Received by Hell

Just when everything seems to be coming up roses for Mary, great job and dating Sid with the love of her life (and no more pesky demon possession) it turns out that things might not be as good as they seem. Don't worry though, Mary will deal with the cards given her even if some of them (kidnapping) aren't so great, and if some folks in her life (hello to Sid's dad Asmodeus) are, umm, not ideal. Deceived by Hell is a great addition to The Mary Wiles Chronicles, with its superb lead and supporting characters, wonderfully thrilling and at times snarkily funny plot with plenty of great twists and turns. You really do need to read books 1 and 2 first (but don't worry, you'll be happy you did - they're excellent), but once you do this book 3 will be a most welcome addition as it's the best one yet.

Highly recommended.

I’ve been a huge fan of Ms. Bedford’s for awhile and this book shows exactly why. The book started off pretty much where the second one ended. Mary and her band of friends are still dealing with Sid’s father, and we finally learn a couple answers to some questions. Yes, I know that’s a little vague, but this far in the series, it’s difficult to say things without spoilers, and I hate to reveal spoilers, even ones from previous books. Suffice it to say, at different times, I was gasping, laughing, and crying (didn’t see that one coming!). As always, this book was well-written, had a great plot, had plenty of action, and the characters were fun. Here we are at the third book at the series, and I still feel there is plenty of story still yet to be told, and I can’t wait. If you are a fan of this series, you’ll love this latest installment. If you haven’t read the books before; it’s a wonderful series! Highly recommend! Thanks to the author for the e-book which I reviewed voluntarily.

Sometimes the truth is right in front of us, we just don't want to see it. Mary chose to give Ramiel the benefit of doubt and ended up paying a high price for it, a deep betrayal, the death of a friend, exhausted energy and a just accepted lover (really it was right in front of her the whole time) lost. Mary must be careful for Hell is alowly taking away everything the holds dear, will she be able to get some of it back and not loose her developing humanity? Also, it was great to learn a bit more about Sid's past.

I love Mary and her crazy band of sidekicks they are funny as all get out. The excitement doesn't stop there is kidnapping, murder, demons, and Sid. Precious hot Sid. Well they try the dating game but boy that may be harder than they thought. As usual there is plenty to keep up with, laugh at, and drool over. Asmodeus keeps them busy showing up and causing havoc. This is the third book in the series and it just keeps getting better. This author knows what it takes to keep us invested in her characters while enjoying her stories. I highly recommend this series.

Fallen angels, demons trying to ruin everything and Sid is back in hell. I have been really enjoying this series, even though there are some grammatical errors. Not too much has changed in the action part since book one. Well, with Sid and Mary trying to figure out things between them, they still have to worry about Ramiel and Sid's father. Asmodeus is of course still causing problems and Sid is trying to fight his demon side. Hopefully something can be done about the pain in the backside demon that's been causing all sorts of problems.

Story Changed

I loved how the flow of the story was going until the author changed to facts from book 2 in this 3rd book of Mary’s story one being Sid’s dad DID NOT FIX THE ROSERY it was replaced with a new one after has been broken by Sid himself I can’t remember the second point but I am sure you will pick on it when you read/hear of it near the start of book 3

I had hoped that the 4th was on audible as the first 3 books as I have enjoyed listening to the sort unfold as I worked :-)

I look forward to when I can sit and finish reading the story unfold in book 4 :-)

Great story.

Book Three continues the story of our Angel who trips over demonic problems every time she turns around. I am enjoying this series a lot and look forward to the next book. We've got missing demons, dead angels, police detectives who have forgotten just exactly "to serve and protect" means, and a whole herd of people and issues yet to be resolved. Whether or not Mary gets her wings back is just one of a multitude of problems.

Erin Bedford has done a fantastic job with the continuing story Mary Wiles. The Angel that left heaven to find her commander. Now, Ramiel is back and it's not what Mary thought. Mary and Sid try to help each other fight against his father Asmodeus. Trisha is trying to keep Mary out of human trouble and Adara is still helping Mary fighting demons. There's a lot of twists and turns in this book and believe me it's worth the read.

I've loved getting more Mary, but at the same time I'm left wondering if her priorities have changed. This book was just as awesome as the previous two and I really love seeing Mary grow and become a different person. No matter how much I love Mary and no matter how awesome she is Trish is my favorite character and I love her attitude more and more each time she opens her mouth. Valerie did another amazing job narrating and really helps bring a bit more life into this series.

when your boyfriend is the son of the demon of lust, and your former bestie seems a bit more tarnished than you ever knew, what hellish chaos lies ahead for a lonely, abandoned angel?

can she save her friends and lovers? herself?

will she have to pick and choose in the face of great evils?

everyday life just got more complicated for angel Mary.

love can be soul sucking!

Mary still hasn't gotten her wings and just when she thinks things are going well and she is embracing more moments of humanity she finds out there are secrets being kept and things start to go down a slippery slope for her. While she may be determined Mary needs to take care of what she does as cause and effect comes into play when dealing with Hell and nothing comes without a price!

Mary's back in book three in The Mary Wiles Chronicles and this series just gets better and better with each book. In this book questions are answered, secrets are revealed, friends and enemies are revealed and so much more happens in this action packed story. With so much going on in book three I can't wait to read the final book in this series to see how Mary's story ends. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is book 3 in the "Mary Wiles Chronicles". All I have to say is "Bring on book 4!". This story answers some questions and asks some more. Like Adara said- Mary's life has more drama than a soap opera. I always loved soap operas. Guess that's why I'm ready for the next episode.

I love this series. Mary is truly bada__. She never gives up fighting for what is right. I love her interactions with Sid and the gang. I do love Sid, he has that bad boy vibe, but you can tell he is a good guy underneath it all. This story had some serious plot twists to it. I can't wait to see where the next book will end up. I volunteered to read this book.

The saga of Mary Wiles, paranormal detective, aka former Angel Muriel continues. In addition to hunting for her wings which were brutally ripped off her in battle with the demons of hell, she's also desperately searching for another valuable tool that she must rescue from the forces of evil while trying to keep her half-demon boyfriend Sid from turning to his evil full demon side. This is another entertaining action-packed adventure with some snarky but likable characters, especially Mary Wiles. Check it out. And there's more to come.

The action doesn't seem to stop

In this book it is one fire after another while more questions get answered. The action is non stop as Mary tries to send demons back to hell. She loses friends, gets betrayed, and finds out truths she has been seeking. Finally the errors have been fixed that were prevalent in the first two books. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book.

Is Ramiel to be trusted? Who does he help? Mary and Sid finally plan to go on a date. So many questions and answers in the air. You will cry and you will laugh. Could not put the book down. You must read this series if you are into angel and demons warring. Another excellent read.

Mary and Sid have finally come together but at what cost? A death of a friend and the knowledge that Ramiel has fallen. Not sure how far he has, she gives him the benefit of the doubt. After Sid has been kidnapped more than once, going after Asmodeus is more imperative than ever.

Another great read in the Mary Wiles series. The flow was so great, I did not realize I was at the end of the book. Great cliffhanger p. Now I need to know what will Mary choose? To go back home or stay on earth and fight evil?
